She explained to me that she could substitute other flowers similar in color and even offered to send me a photo of the actual arrangement. I must say when I received her photo of the arrangement it was absolutely beautiful and looked better than the original Arrangement that I ordered!! I was was treated as though I was a long time customer. She could have substituted the flowers and not notified me but the fact that she took time to call me to discuss and take several pictures to send to me is just incredible!

We kept saying we just wanted long stem roses, Fresh, and she kept pushing us towards "a garden-variety" The translation being they didn't have enough of one flower to create a fresh bouquet, and that seems to be the go to for this particular florist is just a general wildflower garden look rather than a more sophisticated polished presentation. Totally fine if that's what we wanted, but since we clearly stated, we wanted fresh roses, I guess the gal working wasn't comfortable being truthful and saying "we actually don't have any fresh roses in today". We wasted about 10 minutes, trying to create an order until we finally realized that, regardless of what we asked for, they most likely were going to throw in a bunch of wildflowers to make up for the fact, they didn't have fresh roses. General note to Owner: you're a florist. The people working for you should know the difference between a longstem rose and a garden rose- but, it was clear from the conversation we had that either she didn't know the difference, or was hoping we wouldn't notice that she kept slipping in the word "garden rose" when we kept saying we wanted long stem. And wasting a prospective customers time because you don't have fresh flowers in is not the way to do business. Tell them to call back another day when you've got fresh flowers, but don't try to sell them something they don't want. Thank you.
