Wanted to marry in a simple ceremony with just a couple of friends and family. Choose him to marry…read moreus. It was a great decision. He was on point with his approach to the ceremony. It was the right mix of solemn and light hearted fun. Enjoyed by everyone. If you getting married and desire a brief small wedding this is the way to go. Friends recommended him for us. They just wanted to get married with out any ceremony. Sign the papers and out of there. Yes, I recommend him.

Judge Hebert is a nice enough guy, but has no business being a judge. Is not impartial, does not…read moreevaluate his cases prior to meeting litigants, is not diligent in finding the correct implementation of the law due to his very limited knowledge of the law and pure laziness. Personal feelings guide his decisions (legal or not), and if it were not for the high cost of appeals, I am quite sure the majority of his decisions would be overturned. I was in his chambers for a small claims suit and he listened to the plantiff, and never asked me a question. I submitted picture and video evidence for the case as well as the Parrish ordinance pertaining to the case. He put my evidence on his desk continued to talk to the plaintiff and then made a ruling without talking to me or even glancing at the evidence that i presented him with. The burden of proof falls to the plaintiff and if the defendant is not allowed a response does this constitute a fair and impartial trial? He also allowed the plantiffs to have an attorney in the room. This is a big no no for small claims cases. He either had to get me to wave my right to have an attorney or reschedule the case so i could speak to a attorney. He did neither. I believe that we need a impartial, law educated individual in this case rather than a judge who is going to employ the good ol boy system to the extreme.
