There was easy parking outside and her space was very clean and organized. Charmaine took the time to map out my brows, understanding what level of shade I wanted my eyebrows and how natural I wanted them to look. The process was straightforward and did not hurt at all. Fine Strokes has an awesome website which you can get all the info you need on microblading, scheduling an appointment, and reading up on pre & post care. Vinny did my procedure and touch up as well. The studio is located inside Sola Salon & Suites near Costco in Shelby Twp so it's a single-room studio. However it's spic and span clean and excellent lighting. Vinny is so friendly and patient he wants to make sure he delivers what you want. I was pretty picky with my shape but he was so patient. For those of you who don't know, this procedure hurts! The numbing cream he used helped but if you know what this procedure is, then you'll expect some pain. My brows looked amazing after the first time he did them. I did the microblading + shading. He was very thorough in explaining the after care & provided a great topical gel to use. When I came back for my touchup 3 weeks later it was all the same experience, which is good. However both appointments I had to wait for quite a bit of time as he was finishing up a previous client. I appreciated that he acknowledged that & apologized for the inconvenience. I am pretty much happy with my brows however my skin must not have taken the strokes/pigment as well as others' skin does. Vinny is good about warning customers about that effect. The highly coveted microblading look does not last on all skin types. So mine you can somewhat see the lines, but it's mostly blurry. Not a great feeling considering all the money I spent here.

Michigan, etc. I see she has good reviews so I trusted her. She did a full "dramatic" set on my virgin lashes. During the application my eyes were burned from fumes coming from the lash glue. She mentioned using a different glue then continued, instead using a fan to blow air on my face. When I left my eyes were sensitive and swollen. A few days later my eyes stopped watering and I liked the look of the lashes. One week later I had lost several of my own lashes and extensions, which were now falling out in clumps. Megan refused to correct her work and became confrontational. In fact, this was her reply: "I think all of this is to get some type of refund which is why I'm not going to waste my time or yours with other glues." I'm writing this review because it's been a few months and I have been to a real professional remove and replace them with a weeks rest in between. We both noticed she had applied (glued) one extension to several lashes, clumping them together. This shortcut resulted in my loosing several lashes when the extensions fell off. I do not recommend Megan for lash extensions. Perhaps she is better with Makeup, I don't know. However, I do know from my own experience that there are other lash professionals who stand behind their work and know how to apply the lashes correctly to achieve a beautiful result with minimal damage to your natural lashes. Update: I'm still seeing the same lash artist who fixed my lashes after Megan's mishap. My lashes have since grown back and are looking beautiful with the addition of extensions. Whenever I have fallout or any issues at all I'm able to book a repair between appointments. No problems. No excuses. No selfies. I will let Megan's response speak for itself.

I got Megan's name from a friend (who was in a wedding that she did) and did a trial with her the day of my shower, so we could talk about colors and what I liked. She is such a sweet person and an incredibly talented makeup artist. She 100% listened to what I was looking for and any concerns I had, and above all, made me look like my best self! I also loved that she uses variety of different makeup brands so you're not all just one specific counter (a couple people recommended to stay away from MAC for my wedding since it tends to be more dramatic and that's not what I was going for). Megan's pricing was also really reasonable and it included everything - full face, eyelashes (in my opinion, a MUST!) and airbrushing. We had a total of 10 girls (including me, my mom and my groom's mom), so she brought an assistant with her as well and they were both amazing! They arrived on time and stayed with us until we all looked gorgeous. ALL of my girls (and my VERY picky M-I-L) are still talking about how good they looked! Thank you so much, Megan!!!
