60 individual lashes applied to each eye
    Amaryllia L.

This is the 3rd time I've tried lash extensions and it's definitely the SPEEDIEST so far, clocking in at 50 minutes! Here's a quick breakdown/comparison of my 3 experiences: 1. Apr 2012 in Sunnyvale, CA with Lily @ Vanity Spa Salon: $50 Groupon for a set of the longest, fullest, borderline drag queen lashes I've ever had. They were a little shocking at first but then I fell in love with them. The process took 1.5 hours, pain factor was tolerable, and they lasted almost 8 weeks!! My only complaint is that she must've used some really strong glue because anytime I accidentally got water in my eyes while showering or whatever, they stung like crazy. (full review here http://www.yelp.com/biz/vanity-spa-salon-sunnyvale?hrid=zh3Sek_60FjYqmYmyGX_jQ) 2. Jun 2013 in Atlanta, GA with BillieJo @ Luxury Lash Lounge: $175 for a full set of extensions + 1 touch-up ($350 value) BillieJo was new and it took her 4 hours (no, that's not a typo) of painful pulling and tugging on my natural lashes to put in a set of long lashes that lacked volume (i.e., imagine spider-legs looking things). The owner, Paige, was nice enough to offer a free fix within a week of me expressing my displeasure. It took her 1.5 hours to fix my lashes, the pain factor was similar to Vanity Spa in Sunnyvale this time, and my lashes lasted close to 4 weeks. Also, same crazy stinging anytime I got water in or near my eyes. (full review here (http://www.yelp.com/biz/luxury-lash-lounge-sandy-springs?hrid=TygfscWhC_IEmLFStEOwpw) 3. Oct 2014 in Ann Arbor, MI with Rachel @ Eyeconic Lashes: $99 Groupon for a Supermodel Package (a $250 value for 60-80 lashes per eye) $35 for touchups/fil-ins in 2-weeks, or $60 after 3-weeks Rachel worked EXTREMELY QUICKLY (50ish minutes) and produced the most natural-looking set of luscious lashes I've had yet. The pain factor is just about nonexistent and I definitely snoozed off accidentally. Magically, eyeball-pain while showering is also minimal, which was a nice surprise! My main complaint is that these lashes start looking a bit messy after a week and only last 2-3 weeks. But, with her more-than-reasonable touchup pricing, that isn't really a problem. Added bonus, Rachel's lash selection is literally any color of the rainbow. Do you need some maize and blue action? a color-coordinated set to match your halloween costume? or maybe just pretty purple or navy to fancy up your everyday look? She's got you covered! Since my initial visit, I've gotten touchups every 2 weeks and every visit is just as pleasant as the first. Sadly, I will be graduating and moving soon so it looks like I will have to take my chances with someone else soon *le sigh*

I'm typically pretty low maintenance with my brows (especially since I started working from home in 2020...) but will go see Sarah when I want to look more presentable and put together before a nice event or trip or something. Her process for brow shaping is so detailed, gentle, and precise. For the most part, she tweezes hairs individually. Not sure what products she's using throughout the process, but it's very soothing. She also takes great care to provide a clean and hygienic experience as well. The shop itself is small but beautiful and she stocks great brow, makeup, supplements, and other products. Her own line of brow gel is great! It is on the higher end of pricing for brow shaping, but I do believe the price reflects the whole experience she creates. She's also just super sweet and fun to talk to every time!

I also have kids and she has allowed me to bring my daughter without giving me a hard time which I know is really against the shop rules but as a mom I do appreciate her allowing me to still get self care. I do plan to come tomorrow for my appointment! I have my kids and tried calling for permission I just wish she answered phone more!

I hate at other places when make a resy and they say yes they have time but then you get there and they just have you sit in the pedi chair waiting for 20min. As far as the actual pedicure and manicure experience, all of my 3 visits have gone super well and I loved my nails. I have a fingernail that is a little odd shaped bc of an injury and they accommodate it really well and no complaints on my pedi! Will continue to go here now as my go-to spot!

She is so friendly and efficient with her time, and is wonderful at making nail art dreams come true. On the rare occasion I treat myself to a fancy manicure, I would absolutely go back to Phoebe! However -- whenever I risk booking with ANY other technician, the experience is always lackluster. I've had technicians awkwardly squabble over who 'has' to do my nails. I've had technicians rip into my cuticles so hard they bleed. When I went in recently for a gel manicure soak-off, they just haphazardly dipped my fingers in acetone and sent me on my way. My nails looked awful and my skin peeled for days afterward, to the point where my hands looked diseased. I personally won't come back here unless I'm specifically booking with Phoebe, who really is amazing.
