I'm a 14-year-old, and this bike means everything to me since I've worked hard for it since I was 10. I went there with my dad today, and the first comment Bernie Klismet made to me was, 'Are you getting it ready for Pride Month?' because I permed my hair. I stayed respectful, but then I asked for my bike back because I didn't trust him, based on previous experiences. He had my dad's quad at his shop off and on, dropping it off in 2023 completely and leaving it there. We originally dropped it off in 2020, and he still hasn't touched or looked at it. He then said 'Absolutely' when I asked for my bike back, but told me to get the f*** off his property, even though I was still being respectful. I took my bike, and while I was pushing it down the road, he made very mean comments and insulted me when I didn't say ANYTHING. VERY RUDE and would not recommend, as he is very childish. Once again, I was respectful the whole time, and he still proceeded to insult me and also pulled my dad's quad (which he had nothing to do with) and put it on the side of the highway, non-running, since he never looked at it or fixed it. My grandpa also had an experience with him and won't go to him anymore because it took weeks, and no one called or texted him. So, he went to his shop looking for it, but no one was there, and he saw Bernie Klismet using HIS trailer to haul around other things without asking him. TERRIBLE service. NO HE WAS NOT JOKING AS HE KEPT REPEATING INSULTS TOO ME AFTER I SAID I DIDNT LIKE IT

They'll hide behind their "policies" instead of being reasonable or helping good, repeat customers who take great care of their rentals. I'm warning future renters - stay away. It's only a matter of time before you experience the same treatment I did. There are plenty of other honest boat rental places out there - don't waste your time or money here.

Rented snowmobiles (sleds) from Toy Shop. The staff was excellent and informative. Our group was…read morenot first time riders, but if we were we would have felt comfortable and fully prepared by the staff with all safety and tail information. We rented full gear, (helmets, pants, jackets, boot covers) and they were all very clean and in great shape. The sleds were 2021 models and in tip top shape. Rental rates were very affordable and lowest in the area. I unfortunately had my car keys fall out of my pocket on the trail while driving to return the sleds. The staff went above and beyond trying to help the situation. They had two staff members take sleds and back track the 18-mile trail to our cabin in an attempt to locate my keys. Another staff drove our group back to our cabin to search. Truly grateful to the Toy Shop staff for all their help. Ultimately we couldn't find the keys and they drove me to Rhinelander to pick up a rental car. They let me leave my car in the parking lot for almost a week while I returned to Chicago to pick up my spare key set and fly back up to retrieve the car. Not ideal, but given the circumstance.. the Toy Shop really really helped me out. Thank you very much to the Toy Shop Staff. Got to know the owner a bit and it's a small family business, local to Eagle River. Great people with great service. Wouldn't rent from anyone else.
