I then called the 3rd in front of him,which said it was the facility who over charged me. He then told me it was nothing he could do,as he then slammed down the paper on the desk and slid it to me. If I could rate it any lower I would.I'm also going to report them to the BBB.

My husband called ahead when we were moving our belongings and spoke to the site manager and she assured him that we would have a storage unit when we arrived. When I arrived to Wheeler Road Self Storage after a long day of moving and a very long drive, the site manager graciously took care of me and squared me away with a unit that was exactly appropriate for what we had to store. The process was very quick and pleasant and the terms were clearly explained such as rental insurance, fees, etc. There are great features at this facility but the one that I appreciate the most is the on-site security. There are cameras throughout as well as the gated access requiring your passcode to gain access to the part where the storage units are located. Another feature if you need it is the air conditioned unit option. If you want a storage unit where you can feel safe and have your belongings there without much worry, then you should strongly consider these folks here! There are several locations throughout Augusta, just search and see what is more convenient for you!

You will find in the photos evidence of what the rats left behind ( I spared you having to see the dead ones I found ) . They brought in items from other units (feathers, rope, etc.) . They tore up my boxes. My shoes. My clothes. They ruined photographs that cannot be replaced. They chewed up valuable paperwork. They urinated and defecated on EVERYTHING in my unit. Zero response to multiple complaints. And.. Guess what ? ALL of those things are specifically EXCLUDED in the insurance, so forget about that. Not to mention, in one year there were two rate hikes that nearly doubled my original monthly with absolutely NO explanation or justification. I've had several storage units in my lifetime. I have NEVER experienced this in any other town in any other state. This place is horrible, and I am currently seriously contemplating a lawsuit.

Then go up on the price after putting a few items on the truck. Then after that STILL DID NOT GET EVERYTHING. Left a whole trip behind and "go down on the price" but turn around and go right back up on the price again while headed to the drop off location (SO UNPROFESSIONAL).
