I was especially impressed with the syllabus items for the Impala and Sabreliner aircraft. I have zero doubt that I am a better aviator having gone through this training. The weather was beautiful, the aircraft well maintained and the flights lasted about an hour - about the right duration given all the unusual attitudes and G-forces. Highly recommend!

I asked a local (to me) shop to give a quote for the Stratus unit, and it was upwards of 5k. I thought I would bite that bullet but I received a postcard from Flight Research so I called and they were able to beat the price by hundreds! I flew into Mojave, which is a fun trip by the way, and the install was handled so well, and because it was a 'flat rate' some wiring and the encoder was replaced as included in the price. When it came time to leave, I had a problem with my radios and so I had to leave it to find the problem. Luckily it was a connector and an easy fix. But I had no ride to get there. So as their final and greatest act of customer service, they flew one of their planes to pick me up. I was having my old Mooney repaired, but I was treated like I was Space X. Great tour of the facility was included, too. I am so happy with the unit and the install and was able to receive my rebate too! High praise for Toni and Scott and all the hands on folks - thanks for taking care of my girl!

The prices are very reasonable, both for glider rides and for the courses offered to become a glider pilot. I'm so excited to watch my daughter take her first flight! I scheduled a time block and arrived about 15 minutes early. The Instructor seemed a little put out and said you're only 30 minutes late. I said I didn't realize you wanted me here 45 minutes before my time block. The Instructor then went to a calendar and asked my name again, and said "Oh I guess you are early, well let's go." I thought to myself I'm not going to let his bad day ruin mine. As we walked over to the simulator his attitude completely changed. It turned into a great experience. I just recently took my Private Pilot Knowledge Test and the facility and staff are great. The staff takes there jobs very serious, but are very friendly. I was actually very impressed by the search prior to and after the exam. Very professional and explained everything prior to the test. Another great experience wish I lived closer.

When I went to fire the engine up to come home, nothing. The battery was dead, and the FBO had no start cart for a piston engine. I'm basically dead in the water. None of the mechanics shops are open, and hand propping is never a great option. I was busy calling every business on the field, and it was Above All to the rescue. Joel got stuff together, drove to my plane. He was exceptionally careful, and we talked about what we were going to do before starting. Long story short, the engine was started, and I was on my with minimal delay. I can highly recommend Above All for going above and beyond, and attention to safety.

We went for a flight around the Los Angeles basin and further up north via the coast to Camarillo before we headed back to the Van Nuys Airport. Upon return, again, the front desk gal was very pleasant and asked how my first flight with them was. I appreciated the interaction. I had a good time flying and the kindness at Corsair Aviation was noticeable.
