The woman on the phone told him that Stephanie is a barber and stylist and that she is the best at cutting hair. This led us to book an appointment with Stephanie. My fiancé explained that he wanted mid-length curtain bangs and that she could cut the sides but only wanted a trim on the top of his hair. Half way through his hair cut, she stops and says "I don't know what I am doing". I'm sorry???? You.... the person who went to school for this... don't know what you're doing. As soon as she says that, my fiancé looks at his hair which was cut WAY TOO SHORT. After speaking with the manager... we were told that Stephanie is going through menopause.... why on Earth would that be the managers response. How professional is that??? Then Stephanie proceeded to tell me that this is our fault for booking with her. She said that she is a barber and doesn't know how to cut longer hair. Mind you... THE LADY ON THE PHONE SAID SHE WAS THE BEST PICK FOR US. After showing the manager the photo of what he wanted, she says... "Oh, it will look like that in a month or two". A MONTH OR TWO??? That is not what we came here for. Absolutely unacceptable. Then as we were leaving, we were told we would not be charged for the haircut. Sure enough... on our way home, we get a text message saying that we were charged for the service. This is absolutely ridiculous and not what I expected from a place with such good reviews. DO NOT GET STEPHANIE AS YOUR HAIRDRESSER!!! She will mess up your hair and then blame you for it!
