Update: Jamal is no longer there, but that doesn't mean I still can't look good! . My guy **Lupe** rocks my fade every time!! The entire establishment is on point. Everyone is friendly & fun. I never feel out of place or awkward being the only gal in the place. Been trying to find a place to get my chic-fade done for a good price when I don't need the full-on salon service for the rest of my hair (color, style, blow out, etc)... At MVC what I got was a GREAT fade at a GREAT price!!! Jamal is awesome. Very thorough and detail oriented. MVC Barbershop isn't just a business providing literally THE "Most Valuable Cuts" & the barbers and stylists aren't just barbers and stylists. Moving here from a College Station I didn't have a barber. I tried one guy closer to where I live in Katy didn't like the cut. I was in the area and needed a cut. I found MVC Barbershop and Herb had been my barber from day one of me walking in. Getting a haircut with Herb is well worth the 30 minute drive. I drive from Huntsville (80 miles out) every two weeks just for a haircut(worth it every single drive)! Been going here since they first opened up. Lupe and the other barbers are not only welcoming, but provide a professional-friendly service and always make you feel like you are their number one priority in this establishment. Went to MVC for the first time today. Lupe gave me a clean cut, beard trim and shave. I haven't been this happy with a cut and shave in a long time!
