No contract was signed. Feeling uneasy about his pushy behavior and inconsistencies, I canceled the project on November 14, 2024, before any work began. Despite this, the contractor has ignored all communication and unlawfully kept my deposit ($2,001.80) and flooring sample materials (valued at $107.06 per box). This behavior is unethical and unlawful--amounting to theft or conversion. I strongly warn others: avoid Emilio Flooring Solutions LLC/ Emilio Flooring Tyler / Emilio Flooring DFW / Emilio Flooring North East / Emilio Flooring Tyler. I requested a small carpet repair job and made initial contact with Tom. I sent some pictures and I…read morewas quoted for $150 - $200. They said they could use the carpet from a closet and use it to patch the damaged area and replace the closet carpet with something similar. An unfortunate event unfolded where Tom couldn't make it to the scheduled time and he then referred me to his worker, Matthew. I got in touch with Matthew and they came over to check the carpet. I asked them how much it would cost and he told me what Tom quoted me for and I asked if we can go $150 since the job is so small. Matthew agreed but couldn't do the repair immediately since we needed replacement carpet for the closet. He left and said he would be in contact. A few days went by but I haven't heard from him. I sent him a message for a follow up but never heard from him again. Overall, I felt though the customer service was lacking. This happened over ~2.5 week period. I had to do all the initiation in calling them and trying to get on their schedule. I'm sure they do good work but they ghosted me.
