Before I paid the deposit and before work started, we signed an agreement/SOW that required them to replace warped hardwood planks on the first floor, inspect all first-floor flooring surfaces for warped/damaged/nonconforming planks requiring replacement, prepare the entire first-floor surface, stain new hardwood planks, and repolish the entire first floor to professional standards. The estimate also included a 192 quantity line item for unfinished hardwood material. Based on that, I understood this would address the affected first-floor planks and restore the floor to a uniform professional finish, not leave a small unfinished patch. That is not what happened. The replacement boards were left visibly lighter and unfinished/unblended, with significant gaps between replaced planks and the existing floor. The work was not completed or accepted under the signed agreement. I would not recommend hiring Emilio Flooring. The original completion deadline was May 14, 2026, and after more than seven weeks we still have not been able to reach a resolution. They have stopped responding with any clear written commitment. In my view, the combination of unresolved workmanship issues, the missed completion deadline, stopped communication, and lack of a clear written resolution makes them too risky to recommend.

My dishwasher unknowingly leaked under my tile for a YEAR because Emilio refused to tile under…read morewhere the dishwasher goes. They tried to say "we never move dishwashers to tile under them." The dishwasher wasn't there when they did the floors and they know that. I asked the guy what's supposed to happen if the dishwasher leaks if there is no tile under it and he replied, "It's not supposed to leak." By the way, they said they have no record of being at my house OR my sister's house they did around the same time so I guess the guy Jose just took the $7,000 and kept it for himself. I called another company to come fix this mess because Emilio came by and said they're not going to warranty anything (even though this is all their fault) and I would rather use anyone other than them at this point and they don't deserve another dime.
