I am pasting my review over to here and adding an update because it seems like they moved and…read moredecided to create a new yelp page. But I think it's important to warn people about this place. Here is my original review: When I spoke with the first person on the phone, I immediately asked for confirmation that they accepted my insurance, and they said they did. I asked how much the co-pay would be for each visit, and they couldn't answer that right then. I was okay with that because I thought it would be, at most, $35. I was never charged any kind of co-pay, so I just thought I didn't have one. Well, after having attended four or five sessions already, the billing department reached out to me to let me know that my insurance doesn't cover mental health care and asked if I had another insurance. I told them no and said I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of these sessions outright and asked why this took so long to discover. They hit me with "should haves" and "would haves". They sent me the bill for $680. And then even though I told them I could not pay this amount in full upfront, they charged my card anyway! Luckily, it was blocked by my bank, but had it not been, I wouldn't be able to pay my bills or buy groceries. Do you know what's really great for someone who is having serious mental health issues? The stress of what I've mentioned above. So it seems like they aren't actually empathetic to their customer base. Additionally, I told the first person I spoke with that I would need to be connected with someone that could help me with medications. They told me they didn't have any openings with anyone that could right now but would follow up with me in one week about it. That was four or five weeks ago, and I never heard from that person again. The therapist I did see what fine. Very basic surface-level stuff she provided me with. Grounding exercises, meditation, telling me to communicate my feelings to people, and telling me to use my planner. Update for 4/23/2024 Today I got an email from Thriveworks stating that I owed them $170. So I called them up and the person I spoke to told me that I did in fact owe $170 dollars because they tried to bill my insurance and it was denied. I haven't seen a therapist from Thriveworks in just about a year. Why are they trying to bill my insurance now? And then expect me to pay without asking any questions? So I told the person on the phone that I paid my balance in full last September. I also told him that if I was expected to pay this charge, I would need a break down of where this charge fits in with my other charges as well as all the payments I already made (totally the above mentioned $680). I told him I had all the bank statements to prove that I had paid them that amount. Then after waiting on the phone for 27 minutes, he was able to come back and tell me that it was an incorrect charge and my balance was $0. Why did it take so long? What kind of janky billing system do they have going on over there? From my last review, Ryan C. responded and told me to reach out to customer success, which I did. But would it surprise you to hear that I never heard back? I wouldn't have ever even thought about this place again if they hadn't of tried to charge me a random $170 a year later. TL;DR Go elsewhere for therapy or triple check they actually take your insurance, and also this place should be investigated for fraud.

DO NOT DO IT !! The company itself is a fraud , I know nothing of the therapist themselves since…read moreapparently they are contractors . They lied to me about being covered under my insurance and charged me INSANE amounts on the back end . I paid my co-pay but they never informed me about the additional charges . I regret not listening to the reviews and will be disputing this inappropriate and unethical practice . Please report them as well. They have not responded to my emails and this is especially hard on people that are already going through a hard time . You should be ashamed !!

We pulled him out of pre kindergarten two years ago, but since partnering with Reset Behavior, I've seen incredible progress. Their team has been so supportive--developing real methods that help improve his behavior with peers and children. It's truly exhilarating to see how far he's come in such a short time. They treat my son with so much care, that I've made the commitment to keep him in Reset Behavior ABA full-time, even alongside his public-school program. As an autism parent, I can honestly say that Reset Behavior has gone above and beyond--teaching me about the laws and how to advocate effectively for my child's needs. I highly recommend all parents of children with autism to explore their programs. The peers are loving, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure your child is heard--and that you are too. They truly care, and I love the support they've given us.

My life is forever improved because of the care and treatment I received at Bauza Neuropsychiatry…read more Bauza is a fantastic care facility that can take care of anything mental health related. The staff and providers are welcoming, attentive, prompt, and knowledgeable. I love that my therapist, psychiatrist, and neurologist are all in the same office. This gave me such great peace of mind that my overall health was in good hands and all parties knew what I needed. I have suffered with treatment-resistant depression and anxiety for over a decade, but that has all changed now. Upon completion of TMS (transcanial magnetic stimulation) treatment, my depression and anxiety are nearly nonexistent. I wake up in the morning with energy and a positive outlook on my day. I feel capable of overcoming life's curveballs in a way that I didn't think possible before. I truly believe coming to Bauza changed my life for the better, and I hope more people can experience that kind of life improvement.

Both providers that I saw here started out great and quickly became horribly unprofessional. The…read moreonly employee that I have a compliment to give is the TMS technician. He was very nice and gentle and took good care of me. I started seeing both a talk therapist and a psychiatrist here. My first visit with the talk therapist was good because it was in person, but when i moved to telehealth it went downhill quickly. I could hear the therapist chewing, clanking plates, and then i could hear her outside. Just because my visit is telehealth doesn't mean that this is a break or free time for the provider. She also gave me garbage advice, for example i stated that "i don't know what to do" because i have become disabled and cant work. She replied with "yes, you do know what you need to do" and stated that i should work part time. I immediately ended my session and never rescheduled. She also made a comment about my leg bouncing which is an anxious habit for me and said i should "be using that energy for something else" Having to navigate becoming disabled and losing my ability to work, my home, and everything else is already extremely difficult without having a therapist invalidate the struggles i am experiencing. a provider who acts like my disability and inability to work is my choice should absolutely be ashamed of themselves and should not be a practicing therapist. For the psychiatrist part, the gentleman ranted about other providers and how incompetent they are and told me way too much information about the owners of Bauza. He spent way too much time telling me how amazing and smart that he is and crapping on other facilities. This should have been an immediate red flag and i should have left then, but i was very desperate for mental health services at this time. asked for non-oral medication due to my stomach issues. I can take pills if absolutely necessary, but i often struggle with unpredictable vomiting and sometimes can vomit my pills. Sometimes when i have a flare up i don't eat for days at a time and cannot tolerate pills. This is why i asked for non oral mediation and was given temporary oral medication anyway. This made sense to me since the TMS took a while to schedule. I was offered TMS therapy and given 10 very low dose Ativan in the meantime. So low of a dose that the provider stated that if i took them all, nothing would happen to me. I was okay with taking Ativan since they are fast acting and i do not need to take them daily, i struggle with long term mental health medication that you have to take on a daily basis because of my digestive issues. At my follow up, i only had 3 pills left so i asked for a refill since i was there. The provider said he would refill my prescription but then didn't. This is totally fine and understandable and i didn't read into it further until I had to tell the provider TMS therapy wasn't working for me. I have intracranial hypertension and migraines and after only a couple of sessions, i had a splitting headache and my eye watered down my face for 2 whole days, so i did not proceed with tms. When i followed up with the provider about the side effects, he seemed very annoyed and impatient and i felt as though he accused me of being a drug seeker. I say this because he said "okay so what is gonna help you besides Ativan?" I reminded him that i was not sure what other non oral options were available. He offered me oral medication, to try the rms therapy again, or to stick to talk therapy. When I reminded him or my stomach issues, he looked at me up and down and said "but you can eat, right?" Insinuating that i was not being honest about my eating difficulties because of my weight. I had a hysterectomy about 5 months before this and gained a ton of weight due to my hormonal issues even though i have issues with food. I have lost 50 lb since I had this horrible experience at Bauza because my hormones have leveled out. The fact that the provider acted like i was a drug seeking liar rather than a patient with complex medical issues is very disturbing. He could not seem to compute that though i am fat, i am having very real and documented digestive issues. I did not appreciate being spoken to like this in any way and ended my session, i never rescheduled. I have been with my new therapist at a different practice for almost a year and she has been amazing, caring, and has given me excellent tools and advice and no medication has been involved. I am not on any medication, she has helped me tremendously just through talk. Over time, we have discovered that I need a mental health diagnostic assessment. Together we worked together to find me the correct facility who will do long term testing to give me an actual diagnosis BEFORE prescribing me medication. So this is not me being a difficult or impossible patient, Bauza is simply a horrible facility. If you need mental health services, i would absolutely steer clear of this facility.
