My mechanic was skilled and quick, it only took him just a few minutes to change everything out and I was set to go. Price was fair and I'm happy with the service and the techs they sent who were courteous and friendly. This will be long because these guys deserve a proper review. We were in town from Las Vegas and were staying in Provo. All the eletrical in our car went out we assumed we needed a battery which is something we change out every few years because Vegas summers are brutal. We changed it out but the battery light kept flashing on and off we thought we need to drive the car so the battery can juice up the car. We drove from Provo to SLC for a graduation and on our way back at around 9000 S. the electrical started going out again and we pulled over at a Maverick. We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. They also told us that they werent available to take it until the next week which wasnt an option for us because we had to get back for work. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services. They didn't have the things needed to fix the repair. They also told me one price and then wanted to be paid more. They blamed the person in the office for not knowing the pricing but instead of charging me the amount they told me, they still demanded to be paid the higher amount. Ended up having to go to the dealership for my repair. read more

Really good and quick communication when it came to setting up the appointment, up front pricing, and showed up on time. They needed to replace my oil pan and then came across some other issues that they unfortunately couldn't resolve just because they needed an industrial compressor to remove a part that wouldn't come off. Because they weren't able to finish the full job due to needing a industrial compressor, they only charge for labor which they even cut in half. My headlights had all gone out, except one. Usually it's an easy plug and run repair. I went to O'Reilly on state and 8100 south and they were the one who told me there was a problem. Some how the last person tht worked on my car used the wrong bulb and taped it in. A customer opted to stop and help and he wasn't able to. I was googling someplace open and came across Best Buds. It was 6:45 pm and they came right out. First they had to fix the wiring and then a fuse...but they stayed out with me, in the cold, in a parking lot, until I had at least 2 working headlights. Labor Day weekend. Needed brakes badly and a lot of the shops were by appointment only or just drop it off and we can get to it when we can. Needing brakes done asap on my Toyota Tundra. Being Labor Day weekend, no other shops were open. I stress out about these things because when it needs to be done, I have to get it done. My work schedule is crazy weird and it's hard to get my truck to a shop on specific "appointment requests" days. Today is also my day off and no one was open. I found these guys on Google. Thanks goodness! They came in 20 minutes early. Very communicative, which is a plus for me. I don't like being left in the blind spot. They had the work done within the time frame they told me. I loved that I was able to communicate through text and get everything set up that way too. I'm not a phone talker and I like getting straight to the point! So convenient to have them come to me. So grateful they are able to come to me. Not only that, they were able to take care of my truck and make sure they had the things they needed by me just sending a photo of my truck. The price was the best part for me. I know at a lot of shops I would've paid well over $700 for both rotors AND pads. Highly recommended. I'll be using them for all my brake service needs. TLDR: This is the best auto service I've ever received--great communication, pricing, and commitment to solving the problem. You can avoid headaches or wonder if you've gotten ripped off by calling Best Buds. I've got a 2015 Jeep Wrangler that was showing a cylinder misfire. I talked to AutoZone and thought I could fix it all myself. I did the plugs and coils, but it didn't solve the problem. It's most likely something I did doing my own maintenance. I thought I'd diagnosed the problem as a CSV valve problem but, after Will showed up, we found it wasn't that simple. It could be seals, fuel injectors, or something worse. They started with the cheapest and easiest solution first and told me what they were doing every step of the way. In the end, the guys were in my driveway for three consecutive mornings, opened up the engine three (or more) times, told me exactly what they were doing, talked through options, and worked to get the parts when some places were sold out. It's been a few months since I did business with them, but I'm finally getting around to reviewing. Anyways, my catalytic converter went out on my Nissan Rouge. After a bit of shopping around, they gave me a great quote. Their prices were lower than everyone else and have low labour costs. The problem was a bit more serious than we expected, but they were willing to stay late and get it replaced, and the best part is that they didn't charge me more for the labour time they quoted! Outstanding service and customer satisfaction! They went above and beyond to fix my problem, and they were very transparent and honest; things that are unfortunately hard to come by with other mechanics. 100% recommend these guys!
