Zero stars. . . . The Worst 4x4 place I've dealt with in over 30 yrs. Ordered my kit. . . . . Shortly after I get an email stating not all parts were in stock. No estimation of delivery date. . . . This company is fraudulent. My husband and I bought shocks that were not what was promised to us. We tried to get refunded, and we were denied, their refund policy states the shocks can't be installed or used. We only installed them and test drove how else are you supposed to know? We trusted them. So we disputed the charge then were threatened by Todd (the ceo) that he would take us to court and accused us of fraud and doing it for our own benefit. Maybe instead of threatening and defaming customers, they could sell products that are what they say they are and they wouldn't have so many negative reviews. He tried to have us sign an agreement stating that we wouldn't share our experience or leave negative reviews. Wrong person was being threatened to be taken to court here. He also told us if we had worded our dispute differently then 'maybe you'd have a case'. He belittled my husband by telling him he's sold thousands of shocks and hasn't had an issue except with us, then told us later he deals with disputes all the time and is 'chasing his money' all the time. Never use this company. Jack-it sent me parts that did not match the part numbers ordered. There salesman only know what they read about for their products, they know nothing from experience. The U-bolts in the kit did not work. So I sent back 2 kits that were incorrect. I forgot to put 8 u-bolt washers back in the box. They threatened to deny the part return. I spent over 6k with them and they're trying to take $3610 from me. Instead of finding the right length u-bolt kit and swapping the washers out with the kit I sent back to Jack-it. They would rather get away with taking $3610 then to make things right. This Company is a fucking joke. read more

We ordered Bilstein B6 struts and shocks(set of 4) for my 2014 Subaru Crosstek with 2" lift back in September 2023. We received the rears, but not the fronts. After we followed up on our order, we were told the fronts were backordered. Here we are in JANUARY, 2024 and still no fronts. My car is now out of commission because of this. Shawn gave me my options and didn't pressure me into anything I didn't need. I happened to go there just before their closing time, but he didn't rush me out. Jack-It is not worth your time or the headache. I have consistently been treated unfairly. One of my struts broke on my 4Runner so I did some research and Jack-it seemed like a good fit. I came in not really knowing much (I don't know cars well) and Tyler sold me on the most expensive shocks they carry. He told me I only had two options, the top notch bilsteins or these other shocks that (he said) would only be $20 cheaper. So I went with his recommendation. Come to find out (from other shops) I definitely had other options that wouldn't have robbed my bank. Ps, they try to charge you shipping on your parts, but you can order them online through their website with FREE SHIPPING. My car was scratching heavily on each side after they installed the new shocks so I called in and Tyler said that he just needs to cut back the plastic so it doesn't rub...keep in mind my car never rubbed with the same level of suspension I had beforehand, so I knew that wasn't the issue but he insisted it was. I brought it in and In fact, cutting it back was not the issue, they ended up putting two different levels on each side so it was completely off...and ended up screwing up my alignment. So, they fixed it and made them completely level (they said). Afterward, I went somewhere to get it aligned, then it was scratching and rubbing again and veered to the left... So I got it aligned AGAIN and the alignment was horribly off. I called in and talked to Todd and he was great, answered my questions and got me on the schedule. But, when I came in, they took my keys and said Todd will know what's going on since I told him he's the one I spoke to (later I find out Todd wasn't even in the office) and Tyler wouldn't give me the time of day to explain my issue. He came to me and said "we are going to trim it because each side is 3inches and correct." As I tried to explain my issue to him to make sure this doesn't happen again, he stared at me like I was an idiot and shook his head. I don't know car lingo so please explain to me what's going on or ask me questions. I do know how to treat a customer and Tyler does that very poorly. Right now I am currently waiting on them to align it for me. Man up front told me it'd take 2 hours and Tyler told me it would take 3 hours if I wanted it aligned. It's been 4 hours and when I asked about it, the girl at the front says we are waiting on their call (in a bitchy tone) as if I'm a pain in the ass customer.. While I appreciate the pocket knife that the nice man in the front with the beard gave me, and the apology from the girl up front, I will not recommend Jack-it to anyone. Unfortunately, my shocks are warrantied here but other than that, I wont be coming back. Learn how to treat your customers, guys, especially a customer that has spent $1300 with you. Or put Tyler through some sort of customer support class. From my experience, all this place screams and cares about is the money they get out of people, they don't care about the customer or their car. read more

Saw this place as I was walking back to my hotel. Stopped in to ask about air bag suspension for my pickup. The gentleman who addressed my questions was totally knowledgeable on every aspect of the products applicable to my 1997 Ford. We discussed air bags, helper springs and combinations of each. He gave me a price on everything, including shipping costs if I couldn't hand carry the stuff to my hotel, or fit it in my 18 wheeler. This is a class operation. I didn't see any 'low rider' stuff at all. Just real suspension related products, and top of the line stuff. Not junk. I wish this business was in MY neighborhood! read more

I have reached out 5 different times to get a refund on an order that isn't even available for shipment for the 3-6 weeks. I have emailed and left voicemails and nothing. No one picks up the phone so messages have to be left. I know my messages are being received. In your about page it literally states "Provide the most effective and efficient corrective action, to resolve customer service issues, to ensure our customers satisfaction and that the problem not be repeated in the future. In this way, we will maintain our leadership position in the industry." Well that's not true. I will have to file a formal complaint and a claim with my financial institution. read more

I had order some shocks and struts for my 08 4runner. When I made my order they never had an add that says they don't have them in stock. So I put my order in and it turns out they don't have them and it will take 3 to 6 weeks, we'll 3 months past by and they s couldn't give me an up date on them so I asked them if I find them sooner couldn't I cancel they said yes I talked to Jacob I sent him numerous emails and the day I cancel I called them sent them an email an it turns out they had already sent them out with no tracking number and an email letting me know they were on their way and now they want to charge me for sending them back. This company took my money for a product that was clearly out of stock and then held the funds for days befroe returning them to me. When I called to address the misrepresentation of In-stock items they told me to prove it showed as still in stock and availble for purchase. I did just that and told them I felt deceived and was upset about them taking my money for an item that ws clearly out of stock and the customer service rep told me they no longer want to do business with me and hung up. This is the worst customer service I hae ever had and my guess is they would have been gald to keep my money indefinitely had I not called to address the situation. Dont buy from this company AT ALL! I was looking for a place close by to lower my car and was ready to throw down real cash so I stopped in and wanted to see what they had for me. Sure it's a shop for trucks but its still a suspension shop and should have general knowledge whether it's a car or truck. The person I spoke with seem to have very little knowledge and told me they charged $95 an hour for labor (which I was willing to pay for licensed experienced mechanics) looking through his giant book of make and model....... gave me a quote for over $400 without any parts (dont carry parts) or tax. It's not a complicated job that shouldn't take no more than 2 hours with an intermediate mechanic that just graduated from a community college, 1 hour if he had help. Don't waste your time dropping in unless they have parts you want and call before you do. An update, just finished lowering my car. Took me 1.5 hours after acquiring parts and renting tools I needed. read more

This is the place to go if you're wanting to get work done on your truck. Professional, fast, quality work. Bought my bds lift here, had a couple small issues during installation they got me right in so I could continue my install (welded in the crush nut) and went back to have it re geared. Put several thousand on both and it's performing as you would expect. Can't hear the gears at all. After having several experiences with other shops either taking forever or giving a price and then oh but this is extra and this is extra and just getting nicked and dimed, these guys called to let me know my ball joints were bad and I told them I had dyna tracks I've been meaning to install and since they weee already in there they let me bring down the new ball joints and only charged me like $150 to put them in, same with the seized u-joint they had already had the axle out so it was next to nothing to replace it, the way it should be. Talk about comprehensive service. They could have easily let it go and hoped I would come back to do the whole ball joint job at full labor prices but were honest and proactive in making my repairs and upgrades as cost effective as possible. Very impressed overall with the staff, quality of work, and professionalism. read more

I really appreciate the help I received at Jackit! The employees really know their stuff, when I had a question about shocks they knew exactly which shocks I needed for my Excursion. It's nice to know that when I need my shocks they will have them in stead of being told "it will be a week or so until we can get them!" I really liked the service and communication with the guys here. I usually do my own modding/upgrades to my vehicle but sometimes you just don't have time. Got a lifted, retooled Jeep for off roading. Had problem with power steering (37" tires). Jeep dealer kept it 2 weeks, ordered parts, never could fix it.
