If zero stars were an option, that's exactly what this experience would get. The customer service here is terrible, and the return policy is one of the worst I've ever encountered. The printer and ink selection is already extremely limited, and when I accidentally bought the wrong item -- literally off by one digit -- I was told all sales are final. No exchange, no return, no help. Just a quick $100 mistake that the store refuses to fix. That's not customer service -- that's a money grab. To make matters worse, I later found the exact same item on Amazon for about a third of the price. So not only does this store stand behind a terrible policy, it's also dramatically overpriced. Congratulations, Best Buy -- you just lost a customer permanently. literally everything needs improvement. if this store isn't going out of business it sure as hell appears to be. empty shelves throughout the store. i went in to get a couple of rca cables and some speaker wire for my truck and the car audio section is basically 16' of empty peg hooks. no audio cables no speaker wire. a small selection of dash kits that's it. so im thinking this can't be right. maybe they're centralizing all the cables and wiring stuff so i go in search by myself cause nobody there wanted to help. as i walk over towards home theater thinking that might be where ill find what im searching for. NOPE. no rca cables only three items as far as speaker wire. all large rolls and i only need about ten ft. so im standing there in obvious bewilderment, thinking, this is crazy right? of the 8-10 employees i saw that walked two or three aisles over to avoid customers so i walked out. the only person that spoke to me was the guy leaning on the kiosk with his back to me telling me to have a good day. nobody thought, hey, this guy came here looking for something and is walking out empty handed maybe i should help. but then again i don't think one of them was over 25. when i decided to write this i saw the 2+ stars and thought that's about right but after reading some i realized that's too high. best buy will soon follow circuit city and incredible universe and others into obscurity due to apathy and mismanagement. people need help with electronics more today than ever before yet a place that built its brand on just that, has completely abandoned it. hopefully that's good for the local shops that were suffering under the big box stores. read more

I am very Disappointed with Geek Squad Service They are terrible and do not fix the problems after you pay 99.00 and wait two weeks for a service call Then they can't give you a time other than 0700 AM to 7:00 PM. Casey front desk manager at Farmington, Utah location is very rude and not professional in the way he talks to customers! I wish he was taught lesson in customer service! I am very disappointed in his attitude and behavior when talking with customers! Now cashier Tori was nice and helpful she knows how to talk with customers! Andrew was so helpful and taught us so much stuff we didn't know that was VERY important to our purchase and helped us pick a better option for what we needed which we are honestly 100% more then happy with. I really have a love / love less relationship with Best Buy. On the one hand, I love that it's a great big toy store for geeks and grown ups. A big warehouse of all kinds of electronic gadgetry and some know how (the Geek Squad). I want something. I research something. I go to Best Buy to buy something... .... and this is where the problem starts happening and it seems to be getting worse. When I go to buy it, they are out of stock. Now, I know it is expensive to carry a lot of inventory and I know that at times during the year (especially the Christmas holidays) it is easy to run out of stuff. But here's the thing, Best Buy is ALWAYS out of stuff. Walk any random aisle and you will see as much empty shelf space and as many empty pegs as full. Look. I want to support you. I found that same VGA to HDMI cable on the .Com shopping site for a little cheaper and could have had it in two days. But I wanted it NOW and I wanted to support YOU. Good news about this location is they have a lot of knowledgeable folks. They can teach you about most everything they sell and give you good advice. And then they can walk you to the empty shelf where your wanted product should be sitting. read more

Buy your appliances at Best Buy! If you work with Scott, he will give you all the best deals. He went out of his way to make us happy multiple times, and I was very pleased with the experience. It's great when a worker is looking out for your best interest instead of just trying to make money off of you! If you think you have a better price elsewhere, Best Buy will price match on top of the deals that already have going on. Plus, they deliver for free and can hold your items as long as you need. If you're making a big purchase, I also recommend signing up for their credit card and you get an additional 10% back! Seriously couldn't be happier with all the deals I got. I ended up with a TV, memory cards, and more basically for free just because of all the rewards! Are you convinced yet? I will always refer people to Best Buy when it comes to buying appliances. You've got to give this (and probably every) Best Buy a lot of credit. They've found a way to survive (and thrive) in an era of Amazon and digital movies. But here it is: A gigantic Best Buy in the newish Station Park "don't call us a mall" Mall, packed with people on a snowy Sunday afternoon. A lot of stores in Station Park "phone it in" Sunday with minimal staff and early closings. Not Best Buy: This place was teaming with staffers in every department ... and they're open 'til 8 on Sunday (and 9 or 10 pm other days). It's been a good year-or-so since I've been in a Best Buy, so it's impressive to see all the selection. And what all can you get here? Smart phones, tablets, BIG screen TVs (the biggest I saw was 85 inches!), laptops (Apple, Microsoft, etc.), video game units and games, VR, drones, e-readers and tablets, home security, cameras, smart watches, home security, appliances, music, and movies. While music has been relegated to a limited special edition vinyl selection, the movie selection is pretty sturdy with new releases and faves for film and TV. While their prices on blu-rays are laughably high, the real gems can be found in the clearance bin: A lot of real good Blu-Rays are going for $5.99, family films $4.99, and DVDs $3.99. Speaking of clearance, DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE CLEARANCE AISLE in the middle of the store! For one, there was a whole bunch of Pop Funko bobbleheads for LOW prices; I got a Kylo Ren in a Tie Fighter for $5.49 and a Black Panther (Warrior Falls) for $2.99. The biggest surprise for me (aside from the great clearance selection) is how much their appliance section has grown. Lone gone are the days of just a handful of small appliances. This BB has a big appliance selection and an actual kitchen showroom with stoves, fridges, and the rest. This is to all the people that currently work there and for the people that are thinking about applying. DO NOT EVER APPLY HERE! I mean this 100%. I used to work at this Best Buy store a while ago. You can be the most helpful sales person for Best Buy and are very knowledgeable about the products that they sell in the store but they will fire you if you do not sell the Best Buy memberships or sign people up for the Best Buy credit card. Corporate office got rid of the project team. Project team was about 10+ people that set up all the displays from TV's, computers, appliances, etc. Now the warehouse crew has to do everything and they are already busy. Sadly, you do not get good in-depth training here. More like bits and pieces of training. You have very demanding management that want the utmost perfection and the quickest. The training you do get is 15 minutes of training. The training videos they have you do on the computers are not enough. I felt sorry for the warehouse people. There was just usually one warehouse person for the whole store and 7+ salespeople. Should always have two warehouse people for most of the week. Management always told me "not enough hours to give to everyone". I have seen coworkers that did not get enough hours and they had to quit for a better job with more hours. They were good people that quit but I don't blame them. Best Buy was better company overall when Richard M. Schulze was the CEO. For the people that work here I hope you find a better job that values you and gives you much better training. read more

Best Buy is a great destination for electronics and home office supplies. This location is often picked over. I can generally find what I need but the selection can be limited. For example, I was looking for a cheap sound bar and went a couple times browsing the selection and both times (a few weeks apart), the model I was hoping for was out of stock. Getting an employee to help is hit and miss. There are times when I can find some help right away, and others times where I wait for nearly 20 minutes for help. The location in Farmington has pretty good access but Station Park, generally, is not well designed and the parking always feels crowded and difficult to access. Overall, this Beat Buy is good, but not phenomenal. Luckily, there is an app to browse and order online. read more

Return police is 15 days on most purchases. No thanks and thank goodness for Costco. This is an on your way out style policy and I will be sad to not shop at Best Buy again. We purchased an a/c unit in advance before it got too hot and realized it would be to large for the space. Brought it back unopened within 35 days and Best Buy would not offer a refund. It's very clearly stated on the receipt, but the policy will have an extremely negative impact on their business. Especially in this unbelievably competitive world. read more

Buyer be aware!!! if something goes wrong with any item you purchase from this establishment you better hope it happens with in 14 days otherwise your are screwed big time!! No returns or exchanges after that's which is total Bs any proper retailer will do 60/90 days exchanges. I walked around the store for a few minutes without noticing a sign for the bathroom. I finally decided to just ask an employee if they had one. He gave me a look like he couldn't believe I was asking him that and replied back, "I would hope so." He then told me where it was with the same look on his face shaking his head. Great way to make a customer feel dumb. The employees are there to help us but it just felt like a situation where he thought I was dumb and was bothering him.
