This is a horrible store. Came heee looking for sound bar system. I was leaning towards the Samsung system, but he employee told me that the Vizio sound system was better and it was cheaper. Cool let's go. Get to register the price is not the same. Talked Jacob... the acting manager at the time. Went back and clearly saw it was in the wrong spot and so were the other 3. I have been trying to get in communication with someone that can help my case since September for a laptop I never received and yet they expect me to pay for. They have gave me no solutions besides telling me to contact law enforcement which makes no sense because what is the law enforcement going to do if nothing has been stolen since I have not received anything. They do not want to be held responsible and just have me going in circles and I always end up with the same answer. I'm to the point where I just decided to write bad reviews for every Best Buy hoping this will catch their attention and provide me a solution or some information. It is absurd they expect to pay over a thousand dollars and yet they refuse to even allow me to speak to someone higher than customer service. I have opened cases which they repeatedly stated they would update me through email and I have yet to receive an email. They have the correct email. I've checked my spam and it is not even there. I recently got a remote job that is really specific about the type of device, memory and antivirus that i needed to have. Originally when I went to the laptop section I didn't see any associates so I began browsing on my own. Less than 5 mins & two associates show up to the checkout so I head over & Michael asked how could he help me. I told him I needed a Windows 10, with 4gb of RAM, and Antivirus protection.. he went into his device and found exactly what I needed, and rather than trying to up sale me on the $600 laptop that was on display he let me know there was an older version (but still brand new) for $390 + tax.. I told him I would take it, so he proceeded to retrieve it.. in the midst of that I saw two other laptops I was interested in and asked him about.. he wasn't bothered or pissed that I was indecisive, he kindly answered my questions and let me know they were Windows 11 and not meeting the requirements of what I stated I needed. He showed me the antivirus & explained how to set it up.. we headed to checkout and he informed me of all the insurance options and their partnership with Capital One to finance the whole purchase.. me again being indecisive (it's the Libra in me lol) I was taking my sweet time to figure out what I wanted to do when another customer approached him needed assistance. He was polite and apologized for the wait, helped the customer and directed him in the right directions. Again he answered all my questions about the different insurance options, explained their differences and gave his suggestion on the best one to fit my needs. Needless to say I got exactly what I needed and I didn't have to break the bank. I REALLY appreciate his customer service & I hope he gets the recognition he deserves for going above & beyond for the customer service he provided. read more

I apologize in advance for this lengthy review but strongly advise any future customers to read until the end. I purchased a refrigerator and tv early in the month and scheduled for them to be delivered on the 29th. I asked the gentleman and the women who helped me with the purchase to please give me the latest delivery time as I am not able to be home any day before 1pm due to my demanding work. They said it was no problem, that I would receive a call the day before to confirm a delivery time window. Fast forward to the 29th, I get a call from the delivery driver that my tv and fridge were en route to my address. I never received a call, text, or email confirming a delivery time window . I told him that it would not be possible for me to be home before 1pm and to please make it the last delivery of the day. He proceeded to say it would be a huge inconvenience because his last delivery for the day was on the other side of town. This was understandable, I reached out to someone who could reschedule my deliver for a later day or possibly the next day. This person was the 1st of 10 different best buy representatives I spoke to over the phone this day. The lady I spoke to said there was nothing she could do because I failed to provide a note stating I wanted a later delivery time, when I clearly told the worker when I bought the fridge and tv to set the latest possible delivery time. She was of no help so I called a different customer service number and got in contact with a different representative stating that I should call at the end of the work day to check the status of my items. At this point I go into the best buy store to speak to someone in person to resolve this issue. I ask to speak to a manager who just gave me a phone number and walked away. I call the number the manager gave me and was answered by a best buy representative with the worst attitude possible. They simply told me that the best they can do was deliver my fridge 5 days from the original due date. I tried explaining that I currently do not have a fridge at my home because I was expecting my fridge on the 29th. He said he would transfer me to someone else and kept me on hold for 30 minutes before cutting the call off. At this point I ask to speak to the manager again at the best buy location but she had already clocked out. I get directed to speak to another manager who tells me to call the number again after I just explained that I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and getting hung up on. She simply walked away and never came back to which another best buy employee approached me and advised me to cancel my order and try to buy my appliances at Costco. After I walk out the store, I try calling a best buy customer service number once more. I explain to the representative, Ronald Roxas, my situation after being rudely cut off and yelled at by him. He told me he would just cancel my order but we eventually agreed to have my items delivered 5 days after my original date. When I asked if I would receive any compensation for this inconvenience he rudely said he could waive the delivery fee. I explained to him that the Best buy rep that sold me the fridge and tv also sold me the best buy membership. He encouraged me to purchase the membership because I would have free deliveries, free installation, and free warranties. I asked Ronald if he would waive my membership fee since that is basically where the delivery cost is coming from and he said no. He had no intentions of helping and wanted to get off the phone with me as much as I wanted.As of right now, I currently have no fridge and no set time frame of when I will receive it. Also, this last representative tried to convince me that the fridge and tv are delayed because they're simply not in stock yet. I told him that they were on the delivery truck in the morning on their way to my address, so it was not possible that they were not in stock if they were already on the way to my home. I STRONGLY encourage you to buy your appliances elsewhere, and especially avoid this location. read more

Bought a subwoofer from them online and set up an installation appointment. Either their computers deleted my appointment or they did. No problem we set up another appointment 2 days later at this location. I drove from Pearland to Pasadena for installation. As soon as I pull up they say their only installer called in sick and they can set me up for installation in a week. Kinda BS since this is the second time. Their rep says I can either wait till a week for installation or I can return the subwoofer. F them so I returned it, no wonder they're so close to going out of business. Horrrrrible customer service! OMG. Been waiting for a week for the store manager John to call me or contact me. Manager on the floor at time was rude, spoke to the associate vs speaking to me and had zero sense of customer service. Literally ignored my questions I was asking while 2 feet away and purposely walked away from me to go grab her Frappuccino from Starbucks while I'm literally in tears from the horrible customer service. I have called a total of 16, yes 16 times to have the store manager cal me back and guess what, as of today still no return phone call. Store use to be good, horrible now. I spend 5-6k a year in electronics for different stores I manage and it sucks Best Buy is only taking electronic store around. I'll start buying all from Amazon for now on. If I could give them a 0 I would, my husband and I brought 2 tv's, and 2 soundbars back in March, which they told us that we could( we are building a home), and they told us that all that we needed to do is to just change our delivery as needed, It worked fine for a couple of times.
