Came in to pick up my msi frieren laptop and keyboard bundle. It came with a mouse pad, keyboard and mouse. Pretty glad it was the same price as the msi website. But I didnt notice the price went up afterwards. The set came with linear//red switches for the 10 keyless keyboard but i think i prefer brown since its nosier but at least it wasnt the silent one. The keyboard and mouse are wireless and i needed a replacement mouse for my logitech g502 since my cat knocked it down and i lost the side button. The frieren keyboard will be replacing my duckys. No complaints since parking lot is big and it was easy going in and out of the store. read more

Would not recommend going in unless you wish to be ignored indefinitely. Ended up just ordering on the app for pick up because we got tired of waiting in the store. Also, though curbside hours are listed, it was not actually offered as an option at all when we were notified that our item was ready for pick up. Would explain why all the curbside spots were readily open and available outside. Only saving grace was the super nice and friendly staff at online order pick up. She gets a star. read more

Went in to pick up a case for my phone and I gotta say it was the easiest shopping experience I have ever had. I was taken care of as soon as I entered the door. I got my pick up and was having trouble getting the case open and also realized I needed a screen protector. He showed me how to operate the case and directed me to exactly what I needed. I was waiting for a few seconds when I was called over to the geek squad area for a quick checkout with Richard. He even threw the screen protector on and made sure to explain their sweet warranty on my screen protector. Every man I spoke to looked and spoke like gentlemen. Came to Best Buy during my lunch break for the Nintendo Switch 2, and I hit jackpot! Upon entry, there was a sign that say the Switch 2 was in stock, I immediately walked to the back to find the display case empty. However, I found a nearby employee and he instructed that the Nintendo Switch were located up front by the counter. He was so nice to walk me up to the front and let me know that there was exactly 1 Switch left!! I waited patiently in line and asked if I can purchase the last switch! However, I wanted to grab a few more things before making the purchase, and they were sweet enough to inform me that they could hold the item while I continued to shop! Overall, I came in expecting to come out with nothing, but luckily got the last Nintendo Switch 2 (reseller price is crazy) and had a great experience with the team there! read more

The manager, Ron, assured me two to three times that everything was there. When I got the item, the packaging was extremely unprofessional and clearly not handled with care. It did not reflect what I would expect from an "excellent" condition purchase. On top of that, the interaction with both Ron and Brandon was frustrating--they came across as dismissive and unhelpful when I tried to clarify details about my purchase before leaving. If you're considering buying open-box items from this location, or any item from this location I strongly recommend double-checking everything yourself and not relying on verbal assurances or employees. At approximately 6:00 AM, a store manager came outside and informed those waiting that there were only three units available. Based on that information, we continued to wait in line in good faith. However, when the store opened and it was time to make the purchase, we were then told that the product was no longer available and that there was no stock remaining. This sudden change in information was both confusing and frustrating, especially after waiting several hours based on the manager's earlier statement. This situation raises concerns about transparency, fairness, and whether proper procedures were followed regarding product availability and distribution. From a customer perspective, it appeared that the items may not have been made available to those waiting in line as communicated. Just came in for geek squad to fix my iPhone screen, made an appointment at 5:20. Drove 35 min to get here. My phone still works just minor screen defects and guy told me there tech is off in 2 hours and they won't have enough time to fix it.... They have so many other appointments after me. While Jonathan (who was actually helpful) was assisting me, I had to deal with a loud, obnoxious woman working nearby who clearly had no business being in customer service. She was snapping at customers -- first accusing someone returning a cart of computer products, "almost hitting her," in a tone that was aggressive and unnecessary. Then she turned to help a Spanish-speaking man trying to make a credit card payment and talked to him like he was an inconvenience, making him sign a script in English and acting like she couldn't be bothered. Okayyy? Shes honestly lucky I was mentally exhausted because had it been any other day I would've reciprocated the energy. All the while standing right next to me -- she had the nerve to tell me to move to the side because she was handling "sensitive information." The tone she used? Completely out of line. The reason I'm writing this review is because I visited this Best Buy store with the intention of spending over $1500 on a camera. I was looking for a specialist to help me make a purchase, However, all the specialists seem to be ignoring me. One specialist even looked at me and asked for help, but when I explained that I'm deaf and asked her to write or type what she said, she simply left me and ignored me. I was shocked and felt very rude. It seemed like they didn't consider me a valued customer and didn't care about my needs. I then met a manager named Aben, and I typed a note explaining my situation and showed it to him. He read the note and then spoke back to me, showing that he understood what it meant to be deaf. However, when I typed again and asked him to type what he had said on his phone, he kept speaking back to me. I was frustrated and asked him three times if he understood what I meant by "DEAF," but he doesn't understand and kept speaking to me. Finally, I gave up and decided not to spend my money at Best Buy. I noticed that this review was very low, and I saw that many other people had had bad experiences. I wondered if Best Buy cared about its customers. And noticed that Best Buy's business was declining and becoming slower. If Best Buy wants to care about its customers, it needs to improve its training or hire better employees. The most important thing is that the specialists must have sales skills, good customer interaction skills, and empathy. If Best Buy can learn from Apple's retail practices, it could become successful. Apple stores have always been the best experience for me, and they treat their customers very well. Word to wise. Their systems of "helping" customers is extremely unorganized and inefficient. I used the QR code to check in for help. Followed all the directions. Got a text saying I would be getting a text when it was my turned to be helped. 10 min later I get a text that someone would help. Another 15 min pass and no one shows up so I go to the host. The host said that I had to "officially" sign up with the host before I could be helped. Nowhere did it say I had to check in with the host. Instead the huge sign said I had to sign up through the QR code. I added a picture of the signs, which are everywhere. Whoever came up with this concept is an idiot. After 20 minutes, i went to the people in the TV department and they told me to go to the phone department, which was on the other side of the store from tablets. After waiting in line, I find out the items that I was looking for were sold out and was told that none of the items were on display. When I went to another tablets area, I found 1 item that I was looking for on display. These employees did not prove to be knowledgeable nor helpful at this location. I scheduled an appointment to have my phone serviced with no resolution. The gentleman that assisted me clearly lacks training. He must of mentioned "that the system changed" since he came back. Not sure what that means. Either way he walked away at least 5 times from the register and seemed very perplexed. I immediately lost all confidence in allowing anyone in this department to service my device. What is going on? The phone was plugged in as they ran multiple diagnostics. He made me an appointment with the tech people at the Montebello Best Buy. Brought Blu-ray player and power cord to the store. Tech checked it out and said just go over to customer service and they'll get me a new player and power cord since I have the extended warranty. Customer service said I need to go to tech support and they'll take care of it. Told him I just came from there. He said you need to go back there. Went back, tech told me apparently the procedure has changed. Tech said he would order me a replacement power cord and have it shipped to me. Then send the broken cord back to the Best Buy address that will be provided. A few days later I get an email stating we don't carry the power cord any longer. Purchase the power cord on your own.
