The technology they have is good they have good phone cases for both Samsung and iPhone sadly they don't have any Sony Whx1000-Xm6 headphones but a lot of Indians that struggle with English there but other then that I'd recommend if you want to look at some good technology read more

Coming back from a day trip, that became night from the States, where I just crossed the border I remembered in the day looking at something my partner wanted that was on sale at Future Shop. Because of the location of this one, I thought to give the place a chance to see if I could purchase this item, as the online pickup options and ordering online were not available. We walked in, knowing what we were looking for, but being disappointed not seeing it anywhere in store. While we were looking around in the home appliances department, my partner decided to ask a sales representative if they had any in stock. The time was near closing, and the store was pretty empty, but in the end we had great service. The sales representative that helped us wasn't even part of that department and he searched all over the system to try to find the item for us. To no avail, this item was not in store, but he was able to locate this in the warehouse, but it would not allow him to put through the order. He then advised that they could try something, it wasn't guaranteed, but if I was to pay for the item in full he would try to send out an order to the warehouse and hopefully have it sent to the store. It was a longshot, but for me, one worth taking as my dear really wanted this item, and at this sale price I was willing to drop the money down immediately. Crossing my fingers that I would be able to get the item, but leaving with a smile as the sales associate gave me some great customer service. Two days later I received a message left by Rob, from the home appliances department saying that the item has arrived, and all I need to do is bring in my sales receipt to match up things so I could take it home. I called back and spoke to Rob, and he said that it would be there for me, and to look for him when I arrived. From the beginning, to the middle to the end of this transaction it was a great experience. Even if they were not able to get the item, the sales people here tried to cater to my needs, and by being able to get the item it just sweetened the pot. I got to the store and met Rob, who brought the item out, and the look of excitement from my dear was priceless. I had to thank Rob again prior to leaving and also bought some games I found that were on sale. If I am ever in the neighbourhood again, I would come shp at this location. read more

We went in to transfer phone plans and had a great experience. We want to shoutout Zia who helped us through everything, transferring over two phone plans, setting up and transferring data on a new one, picking out cases and protection screens and even helping add additional storage to the new phone. Through all of this she was extremely helpful, sweet and fun to talk to. An A+ experience with a very valuable member of this stores team :) read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! My gf and I stopped off here after a day on Marine Drive in White Rock. She wanted to pick up a new laptop. First of all when we went in, the store was completely dead. I saw maybe 5 customers in the store, which means you should get some decent service, right? Wrong. The complete opposite. We were waiting in the laptop section where there was not one person, not even a staff member. We then went up to the service desk and asked if there was someone who was able to help us. The clerk at the desk (more about him later) said there was only 2 people working there. We patiently waited until one fellow came by and asked us how he can help us. We told him that we were interested in the laptops so we started to walk over to the section. As we were walking, another customer asked the clerk that was supposed to be helping us for assistance. Instead of telling her that he was busy with us, he just dropped us and started to look for an iPad for her. Really??? Both my gf and I were shocked. What had just happened? I asked the clerk what he was doing and he said that this customer just needed a quick hand. He didn't think that he did anything wrong. When he finally realized that I was getting upset, he decided to come back to help us. By this time, my gf decided she didn't want to give this store any of her money. We then decided to go up front to lodge a complaint with the manager who, of course, was not in the store. They never work on the weekends. Now to the clerk at the front desk. I asked who was in charge and this clerk pointed to a fellow who was speaking to another group of customers. As we were waiting, the clerk at the front desk started eyeballing me as if I did something wrong. At this point, my gf just wanted out of this store. As we were leaving, the idiot at the front desk screams out "Have a nice day!!" in a very sarcastic tone. Was he serious? Did he really want to provoke someone who just had a bad experience in the store? What a complete idiot. This store needs to seriously re-train their staff in how to deal with customers. No wonder they were so dead in the store. I will NEVER go to this store again. I can confidently say that this was the worst Future Shop I have ever shopped at. read more

HORRIBLE customer service from store manager. Purchased an open box Samsung Smart TV & when we got the TV home and opened the box there were no cords and no manual. When we returned the TV to the store the next day the store manager would not provide the missing cords nor would he honour the price to get another TV. Got our money back & will never give Best Buy, more specifically South Surrey Best Buy our business again! read more

Below is the email I sent.  I have yet to get the situation resolved. I am out over $100 due to incorrect information provided by the staff. I will never shop there again. Nov 5 To Whom It May Concern,   I'm contacting you to complain out the absolutely horrendous service that I received recently while looking to purchase a laptop from your South Surrey location.   To begin, I went in when it was fairly quiet and there were a number of staff on. No one offered to help me, but I did manage to seek out help from a young man who knew nothing about lap tops and, as a result, handed me over to another staff member by the name of Dallas.   Dallas appeared to know a bit about lap tops, but was unable to communicate this information in such a way that is accessible to the average person with minimal computer knowledge. She would provide information that was meaningless to me and finish with "You know what I mean?" to which I responded "No, I do not."    Anyhow, I was interested in a Toshiba lap top and was told there were only a handful of them on sale and they were all previous returns. When I asked why these computers had been returned, I was told that all of them had been returned because the customers had "changed their minds." In other words, I was led to believe that the returns occurred for minute reasons.   I ended up purchasing a lap top along with a Home and Student Office 2013 program that night and was told that if I changed my mind on the purchases, I could receive a full refund for everything.   A week into my computer use, the computer blacked out on me and I was unable to remedy the problem because the battery is built into the lap top. Since I'm a university student, I need a reliable computer so that I can access MS office and the internet on a daily basis. So, I had to return the computer because it was unreliable.   When I went to return the computer, I was then told that I would not receive a refund for the MS Office because it had already been installed (something that I was not told during the purchase), but that I could reinstall it onto a new PC. Under the assumption that I could reinstall MS Office, I felt somewhat redeemed but would have appreciated being told this information at the time of purchase since these details factor into deciding on whether or not to make a purchase.   Also, while another young lady was entering in the details of the return into the computer system, she aked Dallas what the reason of the return was and Dallas replied "Change of mind." This reason is the same reason she gave me when I initially enquired about the returns. And while, technically, this reason is correct, it hardly does justice to the nature of the return and is very misleading. This information is important to the customer because it, again, factors into the decision making process when it comes to a purchase.   Additionally, after I purchased a new PC from London Drugs and went to re-install MS Office, I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that I actually can't reinstall the program onto my computer. In actuality, I can only access it via the internet. This is a huge problem for me since I need to be able to access MS Office without access to the internet. So, this means that I'm going to have to buy another MS Office account and because of the misinformation provided to me by your staff, I now will have wasted over a hundred dollars.   Due to the misinformation, waste of money and time, I will never shop at Future Shop again.   Thank you for your time. read more

Ahoy - Thieves be here! I had just been to the Future Shop in West Van with my defective camera (2 year extended warranty paid). The FS in WV offered to exchange the camera right away, but unfortunately didn't have stock on hand. At the Future Thief store in Surrey suddenly my 2 year exchange wasn't valid, I needed to send the camera in for a credit after I made a phone call, the Future (and current) Thieves of Surrey not helping even with that. A paid for extended warranty valid at the store across the bridge but these ass-hats won't honour their own company policy. I'm going to pay a company a premium so I can make my own warranty returns? I'm thinking the last trip to FS ever, this one for sure. And lately I've noticed, like the other reviewers, the sales guys at Future Shop ignore you, pretend to be busy talking to some other employee. (Not once or twice, or for 5 minutes, but always over 3 purchases in 3 years, 3 different stores, Surrey, WV and Vancouver Broadway.) Purchasing on-line from Costco or Walmart is a much better idea, simple problem resolution, no attitude or BS. I'm only worried my Future Shop sales rep will be the next Walmart greeter, cause they simply do not have the skills. read more

What's worse than having the commission sales staff of a Future Shop surgically attach to you the moment enter the premises? Experiencing the indifferent, Ill-equipped staff of Best Buy South Surrey. It seems as if the manager hired his or her friends. If a BB staff asks me if I need help, I don't want to be waiting for you to look up the answer on your smartphone - I can do that myself. Tried to demo some Bluetooth speakers and half the test units did not work. Sorry, would love to say something more positives about this location. read more

We just purchased an LG washer/dryer set and couldn't be happier... except for our experience with Best Buy's delivery & installation service. The delivery team showed up, groaned about the number of stairs they had to bring the appliances up (despite my husband fully describing to the salesman upon purchase what our layout is and the number of stairs we have). The two guys came in and immediately decided that we needed to replace our hosing and ducting which was fine - I was able to have someone run out and grab all necessary supplies and come back within 15 minutes. The team brought the appliances in, put the washer in place but then placed the dryer in our hallway which was then blocking access to our only bathroom and my 4 month old baby's room. They told me that once I got the new hoses and ducting to give their number a call and they would be right back. Five minutes after they left the supplies showed up and I called the number I was given. I had to call multiple times before I was actually connected to someone and was then told that I would have to wait 2 days before they could come "right back." I agreed but the moment I hung up I realized that there is no way I could climb over a dryer in order to access our only washroom nor my baby's room (think about trying to do that with an infant in your arms). We live in a townhouse and the dryer had been brought up to the top floor and there was no where else that we could even push it to get it out of the way... nor could I even push it myself if that were an option. I immediately began to try and get a hold of the delivery company (Ovation Logistics). Call after call, after call... I would be forced to leave a voicemail. Over the course of 2 days I left 3 urgent voicemails, and not once did I get a phone call back. I even called Best Buy and requested to speak with a supervisor/manager in appliances. My name and phone number was taken and I was told that the person in charge would call me back the moment they were finished helping a customer. We have yet to have any response from Best Buy. The only reason we have heard from Ovation Logistics is because they just called us to book the completion of our installation... no acknowledgement of the 3 voicemails left for them detailing our issues. Upon explaining our situation to the person on the phone, we were met with nothing but excuses. It appears as though once your money has been taken, you are no longer heard. We plan on pursuing this further and if nothing else you can be sure that we will be very vocal about our experience. Don't pay for delivery or installation. We wound up having to call someone and completing it ourselves. Better yet, buy from somewhere else. The moment "transaction approved" appeared... they couldn't care less. read more

BTW it took 30 minutes for them to come to this conclusion and give the refund. They were telling me they already refunded me and didn't want to give the refund. No service at this location. Stopped by to check for a ram for my laptop since I live in the area. I was completely ignored even though a sales guy was at the service desk directly beside the computer ram trying to look busy then just walked away without even acknowledging me. I just walked out and left, took my business elsewhere. Now I see why there were no customers in the store. Will never shop at another Future shop again, and that includes online....they don't ship in 24hrs as they advertise....try 3 weeks later and only after a complaint and an order cancellation was requested. read more

I would give this specific store zero stars if I could...I have bought multiple items from this store and every time the customer service is absolutely terrible. I bought a new TV that didn't come with any cables or manual, so when it was returned no staff had checked to make sure it still contained all of the materials. Last Sunday I went to buy TV stand from this place and I asked the sale guy and he help me only for a minute or less and this other customer came and the sale guy got more interested to new customer because he was asking for this big screen TV which was more money for the sales guy it is Ok I understand that is there job to make money and I found anther sales guy he sold me the TV stand and asked me to picked up from the back of there store with my receipt. I went to the back and waited for more then 45 mins then I called his cellphone almost more then 5 times in 45 mins he never answer me back I called the store and they said I had to go back to the front of there store and picked up I told them that my 2 kids are with me and the sale guy told me to pick it up from the back and she said ok wait they will bring it to the back I pick it up and here is the read shit that it really make me upset they gave me the wrong TV stand oversize by 6" I had to play around with my house decoration to fix the TV stand. read more

RUN. I purchased a cellphone from this location back in February and was talked into buying the GeekSquad protection plan at a cost of $13 something a month. A week later I returned the cellphone and asked to have my GeekSquad cancelled. I received a refund on the first month of protection and was told the plan was cancelled. Whoever processed my refund didn't seem confident when he told me that so I called GeekSquad myself when I got home. The gentleman on the phone told me it was still active, and that I would have to cancel it in store. Back I went. I was helped by a lovely young lady name Tina, who assured me it was cancelled AGAIN. Two weeks later, I received a charge on my credit card for the protection plan. Sat on hold with the 1-800 number for 15 minutes and asked for a refund and cancellation. Turns out you can't get a refund once you cancel the plan so I have to now wait 7-10 business days for the refund to process, and CALL BACK AGAIN to cancel the plan. What is my next purchase from Best Buy going to be? NOTHING. EVER. AGAIN. read more
