It showed the various custom options they offered and my mom was able to select a style she liked. I gave BCR a call and I got in touch with Andrew (project manager) right away. We set up an appointment and within a few days, he was at my mom's house taking measurements (essential for custom work) and we discussed finish options. Upon purchasing a new home (a duplex), we immediately went to refinish the hardwood floors. This had to be one of the best experiences I've ever had with a company. Andrew from Best Chicago Railings was the most responsive Project Mgr. He replied to my emails usually within minutes never longer than an hour. After I made a decision on the railings I wanted (which were the horizontal railings with slim bars) Andrew came out a couple of days later to measure them. He then sent me a drawing of the railings which I approved. The whole process started on June 20th and my new railings were installed on July 14th. They look phenomenal!! I am so happy. He sent a list of options, and then drawings to let us choose which design and color we wanted. We chose a matte black railing with a modern horizontal design. They installed them rather quickly and were really easy to coordinate with. Great all-around experience. Andrew was super responsive and clear in communications from beginning to end. We recently replaced our entire driveway and front stoop and I was trying to time the completion of the concrete work with the installation of the new railing so we could complete our final inspection and not go too long without a railing. As soon as the concrete work was done I contacted Andrew and he promptly came out to take final measurements so he could provide design drawings for our review and approval. We worked through a minor design change and his team completed fabrication the very next day so it could be batched with another project getting powder coated. Quite a few years ago I had the railings removed from my front stairs because they just didn't work correctly. As time went by I lived to regret that choice. Recently I decided to replace the railings when I had work done on the stairs, little did I know that stair people don't do railings I needed to hire an iron monger. I called Best Chicago Railings LLC and they were very responsive to my questions. They gave me a great quote and came out to discuss the work we wanted done.
