So making the trip over to Brentwood, I met with Blake and explained what I needed. He showed me the Riccar R65 which was one of the models that had been recommended to me on reddit. It was light and portable, and capable of handling pet hair, lint, and dust. After an initial walkthrough of the product, and confirming that they would take my old Dyson to gut for parts, I went on my way to return home and discuss things over with my spouse. While I was also considering a Miele stick vacuum, additional research showed that for the price the Riccar was the better deal and extreamly easy to clean and maintain. I did a little more studying of the R65 online and shopping around for the best price. Blake was kind enough to work with me on the price to be competitive with other resellers online with a complete package to cover all my needs. Thus far the R65 has already proven itself making quick work of loose cat litter, dust, and cleaning a very short ply rug. Very happy with the product and will return as needed for service.
