However when it comes to the right team or right man for the job Calvin Woodard and team was it for us. Our home warranty service sent us to another Company who greedily accepted a job that fave us an estimate date 2 weeks justvto come look at tge problem. We called back and asked for a different co. Woodard Mechanical came out as soon as they could ordered the part delivered and fixed our a/c problem in no time. We are happy with the professionalism, courteous and prompt service. Calvin, I think he's the owner, was not at all polite and acted disrespectfully. We made an appointment. He wants to come whenever he wants and doesn't perform the service after noon. He wants to charge more for the service. I have to start pressuring him to come and service the air conditioning. He practically yelled at me on the phone, and I had to hang up. He's not even BBB-certified. You have to be careful who you require service from. I will never do business with this guy, who is so aggressive in his customer service.... read more

The warranty company used this vendor. It was a simple repair, HVAC condenser fan replacement. Repair works but they left wires hanging outside of the unit and left trash next to the unit. I would not recommend them because they wouldn't bother to take a few minutes to tuck the wires in and pick up their trash. read more

This company works with a warranty company called American Home Shield. Everything this man has said has been a lie. Yes I calling him a liar because that is what he did. He came on the warranty companies recommendation and it has become blatantly obvious that he works for them. He stayed less than 5 minutes for the $130 and left. From that point he has lied about why, when, what and how, I said he lied because that is what he does based on other comments I see here and how I was treated. Very disrespectful and did properly fix our AC. After we called back to schedule another appointment, the owner would not schedule us even though we had our claim filed through our warranty company. He told me "I was like everyone else." He said he would call back once the claim number was received on his computer. Never got a call back so we had to go with another company who actually fixed the problem. We were without AC for over a week in extreme heat due to this company. The lack of compassion, lack of respect, and improper fix were enough for me. read more

This is the company that the home warranty company uses. Have had a HVAC issue since early July. Still as of 11/21 the unit has not been repaired. So no heat now that it is cold out. They just told us today, they are not coming back out and told the home warranty to assign it to a different vendor. They have already been paid $683 for multiple trade fees and non covered items. Still not fixed. I'm guessing they don't know how to fix it. Rude as well. Run, run away fast from them. read more

Woodard Mechanical Solutions is a contractor our home warranty company uses for appliance repairs. It took 13 days the last time they were selected for us to repair our clothes washer. The actual repair took less than 30 minutes, but the part had to be ordered and then scheduling the repairman to come back out was a nightmare because he doesn't return calls. We had to get the warranty company involved to get a return call and schedule appts. I filed a claim last night with the warranty company due to an issue with our dishwasher. Woodard was assigned again. I completed Woodard's online request form this morning noting the times I was available to schedule an appt. No call from Woodard. No answer when we called. They were supposed to schedule an appt within 24 hours or next business day of the claim, and we have heard nothing. I called to complain to the warranty company and they are assigning me another contractor. I have no complaints about the repair he made on our clothes washer, but the lack of communication and the delays are disappointing and frustrating to say the least. I wouldn't recommend Woodard unless you have time to wait and see when and if a call will be returned. read more

We were assigned Woodard through our Home Warranty company on April 30th, 2024. He came out and "repaired" the unit, then on May 31st I received my electric bill. It was 2.5X higher than usual! So on June 1st, we called the HW company to let them know it wasn't fixed after all. We were charged ANOTHER deductible fee because it had been more than 30 days. Woodard was sent back to repair what he didn't fix properly the 1st time. This time he said that the relay was bad and he'd have to order the part and left. A week later he told us the part was hard to find due to the age of our unit and our nightmare began. He said it would be 2 weeks to get the part. 2 weeks later he said it would be another 2 weeks. He eventually stopped responding to our texts/calls and completely ghosted us. When we called the HW company, they'd reach out to him and he'd tell them the part was ordered and the whole cycle would start all over again. After 4 MONTHS we finally fired our HW company, and Woodard too, and called a local company. They came on Wednesday and had my air conditioner fixed by Friday. Woodard had diagnosed it wrong AGAIN, and our family went 4 months in TN summer without a functioning HVAC because of his incompetence and dismissive business practices. I think if he can't pull the part off of his truck then he gives up, takes the deductible money and moves on. This company is not worth the headache. Woodard has been a great find! I was having issues with my AC and called Lee Company to give me a quote. Lee told me I needed a new $12,000 unit. I called Woodard after being referred by a friend. Calvin came out when he said he would. He quickly diagnosed my issue and fixed the problem for under $500. He isn't pushy and has never tried to "sell me". I'm so pleased I found Woodard and will continue to call him anytime I have an issue. read more

We called our home warranty when our AC started blowing hot air during this extreme heat wave. He called us promptly and set up a service call within 2 days. He could have come earlier, but our schedule did not allow us to be home the next day. He arrived at the scheduled time and was very friendly and professional. He had spoken to us initially and had pretty much analyzed the most probable cause over the phone. He thoroughly checked the unit and identified the problem due to a part, which he was able to replace quickly, since he was well prepared based on the info we provided on that initial phone call. He had our unit up and running in less than 20 minutes. He then checked out the return and vents, also stayed to make sure things were working properly. He was very knowledgeable and explained all he did and offered suggestions on basic maintenance we can do ourselves to keep our unit clean. very rude on the phone and to customers. they schedule me 5 days out to come out to diagnose a problem with the air conditioner with 100% down AC. somebody called and confirmed appointment from their company. On the day of appointment we get another email that says they move the appointment for an additional three days. When I called to question why they said they have 200 customers in front of them do I need to take the appointment or they can cancel it. No apology given, no responsibility was taken as well.
