Took 5 days and multiple broken promises of "I'll have it to you by today" just to get a quote that…read morecompletely ignored everything I was asking for. They were on site on Friday morning, I asked them specifically if they could install a specific Trane system that I wanted to purchase or if they could get me a better price on their system. I had the exact make/model/price of a unit that they could compare with. They promised me they would write it up both ways and have it to me by the end of the day. I give them all of Friday and Saturday with no response and message them Sunday and Monday to see what's going on and get promised by the end of today again. I was lied to again and had to message them again before they finally sent me a quote on Tuesday. It was only at this time that I was told that they couldn't install the unit I wanted and that their "competitively" priced equivalent unit was over 200% the cost of what I told them I was initially looking at. Their eventual quote for their Goodman system was also 20% more expensive than the carrier system that one of the most reviewed and reputable companies in Dayton/Springfield quoted me. I understand that installing third party systems is not common in the industry which is why it was the first thing I asked. It should not take 5 days of leading me on to tell me they can't do it.

On September 5, 2024 they asked some questions to purchase fittings and said they would have the quote the next day. After waiting, I asked about status on October 24, 2024. Response was "Who is this and price for what?" I told him and they said they thought they sent it and would get it right out. On November 7, 2024 I reached back out and asked about the quote again. They said they would have to come back out to look at everything again because it has been so long along with some other comments. I told them I was going to just do it myself at this point. I cannot comment on their work because I never got to that point. The people were nice but that does not help me with the reason I contacted them in the 1st place. I cannot say if this is a one-off or not but it is something that should be known. 10 weeks of my time wasted when I could have been looking for someone else to do the work.

He pulled out a small box that was his test kit, drew a water sample, and said the sample was sufficiently softened. Diagnostic fee was $110- par for the course. But good to know that the this particular softener was made to last and, in his estimation, had another 5-10 years of service left. How many other plumbers would hear 30 years and react with "oh yea, it's time to get a new one!!"

I thought it was the water heater so called Seiter. Dan arrived about 3:45 and started checking things out. Chris arrived a short time later. They both worked non-stop trying to find the source of the water. They were here about 2 hours. Although they never really could find the source of the water, I couldn't be happier with all they did in trying to find it. Both worked non-stop searching both inside and outside for the source of the water. Both were such gentlemen and went over and above. They set the water softener to regen that night. They told me they would come out next day if water recurred. It ran that night, but nothing happened. I'll continue to call Seiter when something goes wrong. Very dependable company!

Our tech (Bill?) was very thorough, courteous, and friendly. They were on the early side of their appointment window (30 minutes after the beginning of the window) and called when they were on their way.
