I hate to give 1 star review but very disappointed with Best Image. Frank (from Best Image) and I were very communicative via email when I first requesting quote from him and he was very responsive and helpful. Till he came and visit our commercial area (where we wanted to get our window tinted), I was told that the windows need special cuts and will require couple days, so then we set up second schedule hoping to start with the project soon. However, he never show up for the second meeting. I tried to follow up with his assistant and I was told that he will follow up with me soon. It's been almost a month and I haven't heard back from them. Well, I understand that it may be difficult or may required more time to customized window tints, but I wish they could acknowledge me. Or if it's impossible to tint these windows, please inform me anyway so I don't have to sit and wait. read more

Just had our vehicle front windows tinted here. Workmanship - 5 stars. Price - 4 stars. Care of our vehicle - 0! We have only recently taken delivery of this vehicle and we have been over it thoroughly and knew every mark and paint chip on it. When we went to pick it up after the tint job, there was a large gouge mark on the top of the drivers side mirror. When we brought this to the business's attention, they said they always take photos and sure enough, the mark was in the photos. But here's the thing, when we dropped it off, we parked it outside the front door of the garage as there were no parking spots left. When the photos were taken, it was in the garage as the photos were taken in a darkened area. It wasn't like that when we dropped it off so wether the business did it, or someone else did it outside, it's still a total let down when you take back your car and find it damaged. This really took the shine off the deal and we are now stuck with the bill to get this repaired and painted which will no doubt be far in excess of the cost of the tint job. I came here and did my whole car, 15s in the back from 3M. After less than 1 year, bubbles started forming on the rear passenger and rear driver windows. I took it in to get fixed because it was still under warranty and they made me bring in every single receipt from the original transaction. Luckily I saved them, because they don't have any sort of way to keep track of cars they worked on, otherwise they won't help you. They were not nice at all, and I brought my brother who doesn't speak good English so I spoke to him in a different language while we were figuring out next steps to which what seemed like the owner or manager got extremely mad about and confused and after that started acting like a child. He refused to talk and acted very immature as if I couldn't speak another language to my family. A very poor experience over all, even after explaining to him what happened, he refused to shake my hand or speak a word to me. The most dramatic person I've ever encountered in a work setting like this. A few months later, now my back window is bubbling. Please take your money and go somewhere else, these guys are rude and do not conduct business well. Would never recommend, stay away. Trust. read more

I have personally brought 6 cars here over the last 15 years. I have also sent a lot of business via friends and family. My last car I brought in the beginning of 2017, the passenger side started peeling a year and a half into it. I had not had problems on any of my other window tints until now. I brought it in to have it looked at, the girl at the front desk said they would not honor the lifetime warranty since I couldn't locate my receipt. I asked her to look up my history in the system since I had been here many times. She told me that they have a new system and I needed my receipt, needless to say I will not be sending any one else here again. Their quality has gone downhill, they do not keep records and they do not uphold they lifetime warranty promise, do not go here. You will have to pay to have the work re-done. A business should have records by VIN # & by a persons name. I have never been somewhere where they cannot look up your previous records. Based on their passed reviews seems like a lot of other customers have had the same problem around the same time that I took mine. First off I'd like to say I'd brought a few cars in the past and they turned out fine . Brought my car in to do the front windshield with 3m ceramic , had an appointment at 130 and left around 530. First time they released the car to me at 4 there was a huge crease in the film in multiple places and I brought it back , they redid it and it was better but after letting it dry I found more creases , a lot of Sand or dirt between the film and glass. They also cut the film short around the dot matrix area and used a sharpie to touch it up. Reached out and had no response, in addition to that when I was there the owner was very sick sneezing , coughing and sounded like he was wheezing with no mask on . I understand people have a buisness to run but if you are sick going into multiple peoples vehicles and touching stuff and coming in contact with customers , wearing a mask should be common courtesy. read more

A while back I took my car over here for a tint. When they were done, I noticed that every window had some bubbles, so I took it back for them to take care of it. I got my new Honda Civic Sedan tinted a few months ago, and they did a really great job. I originally came here because the guys at Walnut Creek Honda all recommended it (from personal experience.) I called several places and they were by far the cheapest, however they do seem to give you arbitrary prices (I got a $50 price difference between two guys, but it was still cheaper than all other competitors). So haggling is probably fine. The service here was really fast. They'll call you when they're done and they over estimated for me. They take your windows off to tint instead of just rolling them down so it goes to the edge of the windows. My car looks fantastic, but I haven't had it long enough to know if it will bubble or turn colors, but they do use 3M film which has a lifetime warranty. read more

Worst tint job I've had. I had my brand new Toyota tinted a few months back. The ten around was only a few hours with no appointment. I opted to pay the extra for the 3M film (which I found after the fact that they are not listed as a 3M dealer/installer). When I picked up my car, I quickly realized that there were lots of tiny air bubbles all over. Worst of all, there were big air gaps on the rear defroster lines. When asked after them, they said wait a few days to a week. Needless to say, after 2 weeks the bubble were still there. And the tint around the rear defroster looks like crap. Fast forward a few more weeks. I went in to have them fix it. I went went when they opened but didn't have an appointed. He said they don't do warranties on Saturday. Say What?! I have to take a day off to fix something that these guys did a crappy job on. Since I didn't make the appointment for that day I made one for the following week. Fast forward to my appointment the following week. I dropped it off first thing in the morning. They said they will take all day, until 4PM. I picked up the car around 2ish. I looked at the rear window defroster and they look just as awful as the original job. There were still a few tiny bubble on certain windows. Lesson for me: Don't be cheap and go to a real tint place that take their time pressing the air out of the tint. I wished I'd pay another $100-200 for a clean tint job. read more

It took an hour longer than they told me it would take but that's fine because they did an incredible job. I had a pretty crappy experience with these guys. I set up an appointment to get some vinyl taillight overlays put on my car for 10am and showed up a little early. I showed the guy the vinyls, and he said it would take about 3 hours to finish, so I found a coffee shop to do some reading. When I got back around 12:30, they hadn't done anything yet, and told me it'd be ready 30 minutes later. Not more than 10 minutes after they told me they didn't know how to work with the type of vinyl I brought in. What the hell were they doing for the 2.5 hours before I got back to the shop? For reference, these were blue batmobile overlays, and if you google it, you'll see they're very popular with a lot of different car guys, all of whom were using them successfully (and some of them applied them without going to a shop). I actually did a better job of trying to put them on myself than they did, but it still sucked, which is why I bought a second set and took it to a shop. They said they could try to work with it, but that it might not work, and I was ok with that. They spent no more than 10 minutes on it before giving up. They said they could order the film that they were used to using and call me to get it put on when it arrived a few days later. They never called me back (it's been 3 weeks), so I had to reorder the vinyls they destroyed (albeit with my blessing to try to put them on, but who would have imagined a tint shop couldn't put on overlays?) and go somewhere else to get it done. I'm summary, they wasted 2.5 hours before telling me they couldn't put on my overlays, destroyed them when trying (with my blessing, so this part was equally my fault), and told me they'd order ones they know how to work with and call me to come in an get them installed and never did. I ended up going somewhere else after the new set of vinyls came in, and was able to get it done in under 2 hours. read more

If you need a darker outlook on life this is the place to come. The tint job they do here is clean. The windows are free of lines steaks or bubbles once dry. They do tell you up front that there will be bubbles in the tint for the first two days. Sure enough the bubbles dry up and disappear. They make it look like your windows were tinted from the factory. They know about legal limits so all you have to do is ask and they will set your windows to those limits. The have upfront pricing on a big board by the front desk so there is no question of price. They are insanely busy all the time so any tint job takes a few hours at least. Even longer on the weekend. I highly recommend dropping off your vehicle rather than waiting around. All in all I recommend this place for all your tinting needs. read more

Pricing is all over the place here. Last year, I took my car and the tint was $160 for all 5 windows for Johnson tint. This was kinda high compared to SoCal pricing, but it's on the Peninsula, so I agreed to the price. They did an okay job, there were imperfections, but I could live with it. I called a few weeks ago for pricing on another coupe and the guy tells me it's $140. Today, I called to make an appointment and confirm pricing, and this guy tells me it's $180! WTF. So it seems that they do not have standard pricing, but rather a price range, and it varies depending on the time and day. That's f*cking annoying and it makes the business seem shady. I know they don't give a sh*t about negative yelp reviews because they still get steady business from uninformed buyers... but for the informed, just be aware of their inconsistent pricing and service. read more

I wanted to get my 2013 Fusion tinted and a friend recommended this place. I checked their reviews and looked ok for the most part. First call to ask for a quote and I was told $190 to tint all windows. I decided to bring my car there and called the second time (after a couple of days) to actually set up an appointment for Tuesday at 1pm, the earliest I can get there... I asked again just to confirm the price and was told $150 for all windows! (SCORE!!!) I quickly ask whom I was speaking to and it was Frank that gave me the quote! Got there at 12:45pm and noticed they had a 2-3 cars ahead of me. Guy at the counter was pretty much straight to the point and pointed to the tint displays on the wall and asked me what tint I wanted (he looked busy and seemed like he had a ton to do - not very accommodating). I decided to get 50 for the fronts and 20 on the rest. He then told me they'll get it done by 5pm. I found out from another person (much more customer friendly) that they use Johnson(?) film and that 3M would cost me an extra $110. He assured me that the only difference is the name and that the film they use come with warranty which will cover for any defect - bubbles, discoloration etc... I got a call at 5:30 to pick up my car. The tint job looked great from afar but upon closer look, I noticed that they left a mess on my brand new car. Water stains everywhere and the windows were full of smudges from the install. No effort was made to clean up. Since my Fusion was new, it was just detailed by the dealership - this tint job totally ruined the detail work on my car... I also noticed a few bubbles on one of the windows - which the guy at the counter told me will clear up after a day or so (which it did). After I took my car to get detailed again, I noticed some sort of smudge on the passenger side window. I tried wiping it away, only to realize that the smudge was trapped between the film and the glass - the only way to take it off would be to take off the tint! Another window had a small cut and little white spots that looked like trapped dust/particles... these imperfections are not noticeable from about a couple of feet away but it bothers me knowing that it's there - especially the smudge that is easily seen from the inside and when you have clean windows. The other windows are "clean". I guess you get when you pay for... I'm not sure if I should get them to fix it... maybe when I get my car dirty... read more
