Levon and his team even did a few extra PPF for me free of charge without me even asking for it. This small gesture will ensure I will come back for any future tint/PPF needs. I brought my 2011 Camaro to…read morehave old tint removed and new tint installed thinking this would be a seamless experience, but absolutely nothing went as expected. When I went to have the windows tinted, they mentioned they could also do reflectors and back lights for $150 which I definitely had thought about and gave the okay to do. Later that day when I came to pick it up, the back lights weren't tinted, only the reflectors were... i brought this up and they said the back lights would be even more money. This seemed rather expensive, but I figured I'm already here so I guess I'll just get it done. I also had to go back to have the tint fixed on the driver side window due to a major gap at the top. The spacing didn't match the gap on the passenger window, which was slightly less of a gap. When I went to discuss this with their team, I was consistently talked out of having it fixed with the excuse that "the tint films are pre-cut and a gap is normal". While a gap is normal, it shouldn't be as large as it was. This was 100% an install issue. I ended up needing to bring my dad with me to talk to these guys. It didn't seem like they wanted to remedy the situation, and I didn't feel like I was taken seriously. I have a hard time speaking up for myself, and I felt that was taken advantage of. Finally they agreed to fix it after quite a bit of discussion with my dad. A few days later, I noticed a rattle in my rear speaker that I went to check out, and that's when I saw a bunch of tiny flakes from my old tint all over the place. On the floor, behind the back seat, on the back seats... just a mess. I took out a flashlight to clean this up myself, and noticed that there were water marks dripping all down the sides of both the inside and outside of my car below the windows from the install. I would expect both the old tint and all watermarks to be properly cleaned up, and this wasn't the case. I paid $100 for the old tint to be removed, $300 for new ceramic tint installed, $150 for 4 reflectors to be tinted, and another $100 for rear lights to be tinted. For $650, you'd think you'd get more professional and overall better service. This is not the place for that. I'm really disappointed with my experience. I will not be back and do not recommend this business.

I went to AutoXpert to get my car wrapped and window tinted. The team seemed knowledgeable when I first came in and made recommendations on wrap type and brand to select from. I already had my mind set on the KPMF Matte Purple Black Iridescent (K75565) and didn't mind it wouldn't likely last more than ~3ys, which is what they estimate, even less if parking outside. My full service list included window tinting, paint correction, wrap and ceramic treatment. The ceramic treatment was added per their recommendation and I wanted the paint correction to ensure top notch look. They were very reasonable and competitive on the price, best yet for the region! They gave me a discount all around since I was doing so much work with them. The service took 2 weeks and i wasn't in a rush. They shared updated with me regularly, which was nice. Mohshin was leading the service execution and was always in close communication with me confirming my requests and giving me detailed advice to help me select trim wrap choices. We used matte black for the trims and i wasn't always sure what to pick so his help was VERY appreciated! At the end, they added a bonus wrap with black matte of the plastic panels between the windows since they were scratched. Now the whole thing looks perfect!!! The last final cool bit is how they make your cal feel special: the instagram posts , the cool movie they made and awesome final pictures really get you excited for the final product. Such a nice touch! We have already been back to fix an old wrap in my partner's car. The spoiler wrap in his Porsche got damaged (it is old, not done by AutoXpert) and we took it there to get fixed. They prepared us saying it might look different from the rest of the car (transparent matte) and was very reasonable cost and tat same day. The service looked perfect, we can't tell any difference! I used to drive a 2012 Mercedes Benz C250, which had more than 169,000 miles on it at the time. After I got a check engine light, Artec Automotive determined that the issue would cost at least $2,500 to repair. Instead of encouraging me to do the repair, I was advised to avoid the repair, given the car was getting up there in miles and may have required much more repairs shortly after. I ended up selling the car shortly after. I have never had a company advise me NOT to do a repair that would have generated plenty of revenue for the company just for the labor fee alone. This act of honesty was so incredible because I am used to mechanics ripping people off. Artec is the best Automotive company I have ever worked with, for their honesty & transparency, for their overall value, and for their knowledge of vehicles which they freely give to customers like me. If in doubt where to go for your car needs, look no further than Artec. This company does much more than car repair - they handle tinting as well as performance upgrades and car audio, in addition to diagnostics and repair.

I was able to make a same day appointment.The business is located on a corner right across from a Valero gas station on San Bruno Ave. I arrived at my appointment time, but it did take awhile to check in the vehicle given it is only one person that handles the admin tasks. The staff at M Car Window Tint were super friendly and informative. The garage is decently big, can accommodate 3-4 cars. The small office has a small couch and you can get water while waiting. They also offer red bulls and sodas, but you do have to pay for those. The tint job for 2 front windows and the windshield took around 1-2 hours, which was super quick. They were very efficient and professional. My one issue was that there were some left over residue from the application of the tint, but I can overlook that since it was completed fairly quick and it was easily wiped off with a towel. They accept Zelle or cash(preferred) and credit cards(there is a fee for using credit cards). Payment was super quick and simple and they email you a invoice afterwards. Overall, I was satisfied with the work that was done and so far no peeling or bubbling after 2 weeks. Definitely recommend contacting them for your tinting needs! They also offer other services such as wraps/PPF as well.

Took my 2020 Porsche 911 here to get the sound system upgraded. Felipe suggested changing the…read morespeakers and adding an amp, both from JL Audio. Total cost was about $6k and I went ahead and did it. After I got the car back, I was disappointed as the sound quality was about the same as before or perhaps marginally better. Additionally, there was rattling in the door panels and I would also hear an occasional popping noise. I mentioned both of these to Felipe. Additional sound deadening was added for the rattling, but the popping noise couldn't be resolved. Even after the additional sound deadening was added, there would still be rattling in the door panels. A couple months later, I moved down to LA and decided to bring the car into another shop down in LA. The shop informed me that the speakers used are JL Audio C2 speakers which are OEM replacement speakers. They told me they are not sure why anyone would replace the stock speakers with those as they are not much of an upgrade. Additionally, the new shop said what my system needed was a Nav TV device to convert the audio to digital output as well as add a DSP (digital sound processor). They said it is clear that the previous installer (i.e. Felipe) does not know much about car audio given the recommendations that were made. To make matters worse, when the new shop started working on my car they informed me that a number of things were broken such as the clips that hold down the center piece of the backseat and other clips throughout the car. The feedback was that the overall work was shoddy. I trusted Felipe with my car and the net result was a sound system that wasn't an upgrade. I spent $6k spent for nothing, wasted my time, and the worst part is I now have damaged components throughout my car. I have since spent an additional $8k on top of what I paid Felipe to redo the sound system entirely. Felipe is a nice guy and it was nice to work with him. He did help me install a dash cam on my other car and from what I can see that installation was fine. However, for car audio systems, I would not recommend Felipe.

The way he runs that business, trains his team no just in the craft, but in how to treat customers, -- you could write an HBS case study on this guy.
