This was my first visit to Best Mattress and so glad I came to here to buy what I needed. I talked to the sales associate and told them that I saw that they had a deal online for 2199 instead of 2499. And the cool part of that was that he decided to honor the online price and saved me $300 which is a huge savings. I decided to buy the cooling super soft XL twin mattress at the lowest price. I know that's a lot for a smaller mattress but I've purchased this mattress before and it's always around that price. I've had this type of mattress for several years and it's held up pretty well so I'd say it's worth what you pay. The sales person also threw in a cooling mattress protector for $50 which was a great deal too. As soon as I paid for the mattress, I set up the delivery immediately within a week and everything went smoothly and just as described. Erica (spelling may start with an A) seemed great at first, but after the fact I see how sneaky she really is. The whole time making it sound like a no interest loan when really you are signing up for a credit card with more than your original purchase amount. My total was $7400. When I did a credit update I see my credit score went from 800 to 735! At least let me know it's a credit card and not a loan. Ok fine if you wanna say well "you should have known that" then that's cool, but what about the $145 promotional fee the credit card company tacked on that you "conveniently" forgot to tell me about?!?!? Terrible really cause she could have been completely honest and upfront and I probably still would have bought the bed. I would have just paid for it outright on my own credit card and made the cash back on it without paying a hidden fee she didn't disclose. Looking back now I can see how thirsty she was for the sale. A good scammer will usually get you. In light of this I will never purchase another thing from ANY best mattress ever again. We went in February of 2024 to purchase a tempurpedic mattress. The 2 guys working there at that time were very very friendly. We got a $300 cert to spend on stuff and free delivery. Because of that good experience we went back in April to buy another 2 tempurpedic mattresses plus protectors, so a total of about $9000. This time there were another 2 people there, a man and a woman. They came over as rude, when we asked about the other 2 men who helped up 3 months earlier they said they left for a different location. When we asked questions about the different options we literally had to beg for answers. We needed the mattresses and did research on our own inside the store. We made our decision and asked about any promos they have, like a $ cert to spend on their stuff. They said there nothing. Friends of our went there 2 days later and received merchandise cert's! We asked about a free pillow or sheet set, they looked at us very condescending, we said we received that before but they didn't care. So when it all rung up they actually charged us delivery fees , I couldn't believe it. All that had been included in the prior purchase of about $5000 plus the pillow and free delivery. Then we received the order at our home and it was the wrong mattress, I called and they said I have now exhausted my one time exchange, and it was t even my fault. I will never ever go back there! Also, after spending almost $15000 at their store we never received and calls or whatnot, no mailers no nothing. I cannot recommend that location read more

I've never walked into a store and been so badly treated by a salesperson. I've had some car salespeople come close, but this guy wins the prize. Salesmen today just don't understand that people want to take a breath, look around, and then ask questions. They also don't want to get into a pissing match of who is smarter about what you want. It's my body, I'm well aware of what I am looking for to go in my guest room. This guy either just didn't care about the stores bottom line or he just didn't like women. One of the most important things I look for is edge support. If the bed doesn't hold up on the sides, I have 0 interest in the product. Mr. Rude said I can't tell anything about a bed unless I lay down on it. Excuse me Sir, but who's money is paying for this? I ended up leaving rather quickly and I will never go back. Erika was very knowledgeable and did a great job of asking questions to determine our needs and make an educated decision on which mattress was the best fit for my wife and I. I was also pleased that they work together as a team. I decided to make the purchase, but Erika was off for a couple of days. Cameron, the manager, took care of my order and ensured that Erika received credit for the purchase. He also offered to work with his delivery department to ensure the mattress will delivered earlier on a day where I have an afternoon appointment. This review is about something other than this Mattress Firm's location. It's about the company's warranty practices. I purchased my Sterns & Foster king-size mattress on May 11th, 2022 for $2,800. No problem. Helpful sales guy, who delivered when they said they would provide it. Fine. In the eight months of having this mattress, it has been used for five out of the eight months, yes, gone sometimes for a month or two at a time. The mattress began sagging It now has what feels like a deep crater. You can't believe the hoops you have to jump through to submit a warranty claim. And of course, Mattress Firm denied the warranty claim. Round two. I then paid $80 to have someone (sent by Mattress Firm) come to my home and inspect and measure the mattress. You guessed it... The warranty was denied a second time. That's it! Out of $2,800 and Mattress Firm. No offer of any kind, No small credit offered. Not even I'm sorry you're unhappy with your purchase. Oh, they did provide a 20% off coupon on my next mattress purchase. Ha! Like that's going to happen. Since this time I have done some digging (Yea, I know. should have done this before I bought from Mattress Firm). Mattress Firm has a lot of complaints against them for mattress sagging warranty denies. I mean a lot! Just Google Mattress Firm warranty. Also, Mattress Firm doesn't have a customer service phone number. They only use emails. You can not speak to anyone. When a company hides behind emails and offers no person-to-person communication. That alone tells me there isn't any quality customer service. Of course, all over their marketing material. You'll read how important their customers are to them. Hahaha! I lost $2,800 on a defective Sterns & Foster mattress. Oh! Sterns & Foster had a customer service phone number. However, they told me they don't do warranty issues. Do you believe that? Sometimes reviews on Yelp mystify me. This is one of those times. Some of my friends, even, had a better experience with this mattress store than I did. First of all, I don't like to be hustled. I was in a delicate state of mind. I could no longer ignore the lower back and neck pain I was feeling due to an old mattress that my husband and I had kept for way too long. Basically ever since we were married. We were in denial that our old mattress was needing to be put out to pasture. And we were being too cheap to replace it until we ended up waking up like casting extras from the Night of the Living Dead, or walking hunched over like Quasimodo. So when I came to Best Mattress, or as I like to think of them now, "BM" (and that's a good moniker for them), I was feeling kind of desperate for a change. What I really wanted to do, though, was buy one of those new, cool mattresses that unroll and get shipped, and which you can sleep on for 30-90 days and see if it works for you before returning or keeping. You know what I mean, right? Anyway, I saw that BM had some here, and I thought it might be nice just to test it out on the sales floor. But the motivated magical salesperson--who obviously saw me coming a MILE away--told me that "only college students" buy "beds in a box" like that. I felt kind of sheepish hearing that. I had not purchased a mattress since getting married. And the salesman made me feel foolish for even thinking of getting one of these new types. He also told me that the "bed in the box" is so unpopular that they are constantly being returned. Really? So, I let him lead me to a "real" bed for someone of "my state in life and status." Whatever that means. (What it means = "Let me get you into a bed that is much more expensive for which I get a much bigger commission.") I also NOW know that lots of "non college students" buy and also love these so-called Beds in a Box, and they cost a fraction of what we ended up buying, while getting the job done. And they can literally be delivered to you overnight. Second, I don't like to have the wool pulled over my eyes. I wanted a mattress to do very specific things--among them, little to no "transfer," so when my husband flops around at night, I don't feel it so much (I'm told a good mattress can do that), firmness for our backs, temperature control, and ideally, one I could hop into to work with my laptop (like adjustable). Despite spending several thousand hard-working, "high status" dollars, I don't feel we got the right fit. And the magical salesman, despite being motivated for a sale, did little to help educate me about what my husband and I needed, though I asked repeatedly for information and insight for what would be a major purchase. He obviously had a pet brand, and that's what we ended up getting. Surprise, surprise. For the price I paid it should be a joy jumping into bed each night...but instead, it's super weird. This mattress is alternately too cool or too clammy, with no bounce, and yet somehow still registers every toss and turn. It's just not a good fit. And the time to return it is past. Sure, they say you can return it within however many days...but they know that once your old mattress is picked up simultaneous with the new one, and after you have waited at home for the delivery, you are not going to sleep in a hotel or on the floor, while they take back the new bed and wait to buy another one. Especially since you may have to pay to have the bed picked up (unlike the return of the "bed in the box," which is hassle-free and complimentary). And it cannot seem that the bed was really slept on--but Mr. Magic said we looked like "clean people," so no worries for us. Right. Third, I don't like to be lied to. I asked the magical motivated salesman about another bed I had seen in a magazine ad. It's a beautiful, all-natural mattress made especially for those with allergies (like us). Pricey, but perhaps worth it. Mr. Magic initially indicated that he COULD get it in for me, and to come back the next day after he had a chance to look it up and get me a price quote. I told him I was in a hurry to get a mattress because we desperately needed one, but I would still wait to find out what he could do on the natural one. But when I returned the next day and asked about that natural mattress again (after being pushed into the expensive mattress that he had plenty of on the floor--surprise, surprise, again), he informed me that he could NOT get that other one for me. And I realized that he never could. He just wanted to get me back in the store for the kill. And I, blinded by back and neck pain, could not see the sleight of hand. We bought a too expensive mattress that does not work for us. The guys who delivered the bed blocked my neighbors' vehicles and took forever. Makes sense. The store is clean and bright. I purchased a mattress about 3-4 months ago. It was Sealy mattress , the total price was about $2000. Two months after the purchase it slowly start to sink. After giving me and my girlfriend back pain we decided to go back to the store and see what can be done. The sales person very rudely told me that mattress is like a "slice of bread" and when water touch the bread it go down, lol, And said that my body oils took down the mattress. This mattress purchase took far too long. Sadly I went to 4 mattress stores prior to this location including Best Mattress on Ft Apache & Mattress Firm on Charleston. If only I had shopped at Cameron's store first. I found the perfect mattress a week earlier in a different store but unfortunately couldn't get back to the store for 3 days as my son had gotten an injury in school. When I went back to that location, a different salesman tried to sell me a $7500 mattress as the one I had loved was discontinued. So not paying that for a mattress. Then I walked into this location. Cameron was a doll! Really the best salesman I've ever dealt with. Not pushy. Not out to pad his commission with a higher priced mattress. I told him right off the bat that I wasn't buying that day & he still gave me (as well as 2 other customers & a sale) his full attention. He didn't try to push any particular mattress. Told me to try as many as I liked, preferably all so that I could feel the difference. He did point out the mattresses that were my preference (I like a marshmallow top). Then I found the one. Told him I would be back with hubby so he could check it out. Almost a week later I returned with every intention of purchasing that day. Cameron was in no hurry. Had me hang out on mattress to make sure I loved it. Went over all the warranty info, break in period, etc. This was the easiest most pleasant parting with money I've had in a long time. When I went to pick up they forgot the box spring so the sales man apologized and say he might be able to have it delivered since it was their mistake. He was off the next day when I called, Derrick the manager was very rude and said that hey it was a mistake it happens and the only person that doesn't make mistakes is Jesus Christ so I could either go pick it up at the warehouse 25 minutes away if I wanted it that day or I could wait 3 more days till it got to his store, but if I wanted it delivered I would have to pay. I was impressed with the great customer service beginning with Dana, the Customer Service manager, for the company and then with Darrick, the store manager. He was friendly, and explained everything about the items I was purchasing. He arranged for same day delivery because I was there before 1 pm.
