The pricing is very economical and would even silence my picky grandmother. Perhaps because it is family owned and in a not so busy market place. It offers three categories of products: the regular butcher stuff, sliced and ready to go plates of beef lamb pork etc for hot pot, and marinated sausages and Chinese chacuterie meats. I've only had experience with the regular stuff and I've been very satisfied with the level of quality, service, and price. For instance when I approach the counter the owner is always prompt to greet me and for the pig trotters I always get, he'd give them a further shave and slice them into small pieces for me. I like the variety here and besides the standard burger items, this shop is definitely catered to an Asian kitchen: LongGang free range chicken, duck and chicken feet, various innards, pigs blood, intestine etc. For those into that type of stuff this is good place to find them and for those adventurous chefs open to trying new ingredients, this is a cool stop also. While their BBQ was "fine", but I've had better pork belly (the one with the crispy skin). But I would avoid their prepared chilled food like their chicken feet and any other chilled foods beside it. My mother and I recently went over there and had those, then about a day or two later, we both got severely sicker over time. I got sick first, then her. We ended up having to call the family doctor over it in case if we needed to go to the ER or whatever. Luckily it sounded like it was food poisoning (which it was). Not sure if it's because of the weather the food had spoiled faster or if they cross contaminated it with the raw meat and didn't clean things properly during food prep or just simply didn't wash their hands thoroughly. Also it's best to watch out for their pork feet. While the flavor is "fine", but feel like there isn't enough flavor to it, all you taste is mostly the saltiness (which is in the right direction, but meh). The issue is that I wouldn't put it past them that this didn't help matters). Simply put - I would avoid this place whenever possible and don't risk it.

I only learnt of this place when googling for roast meat and this popped up. The store is divided into two sections. One for the cooked roast meat where the menu is at the back of wall. Written in both Chinese and English, they are quite hard to read though. Bring your glasses or better yet, take a picture and zoom in on the photo like what I did. The other part is where you can buy fresh uncooked meat. The other side is lined with refrigerated items. Besides buying the roast meat, you can also have it with rice with your choice of meat. I bought a pound (min order) of roast pork and half a Hong Kong style roast duck (pipa duck I believe). I will say communication can be quite tough as the staff seemed more comfortable speaking in Cantonese which I do not speak. So it has to be a basic ordering in English without any questions or requests. The roast pork has super crispy skin which is really good but it also has such a thick layer of fats underneath that I had to remove it. You could probably save those fatty bits and fry them later to make lardon and add to your home cooked noodles or something. I like the pipa duck. Tender and tasty meat. Tip/Life hack: I googled and found a way to reheat the leftovers so they do not dry out -- cover the meat with foil and heat in oven at 400c for 20-30 mins. For the roast pork, I only covered the meat part and let the skin peeked out so the skin got even crispier.
