They are blochy and unevenly painted, they are thick painted near the cuticle and the nail is wavy in shape. My daughters are uneven in shape on the tips and half of them are pointed in different directions as well as paint all over her fingers. I took her back inside to get the clumps underneath the nail shaved down some and she replied with, "you need to wash your hands". She took the cuticle cutters and cut underneath 2 of them. Water wouldn't have helped the disaster she is in left with. Very unsatisfied with our rushed visit. $90 to be unpleased with our nails.

I rarely leave negative reviews and I try to support small businesses whenever I can. My mom owns a…read morenail salon so I truly understand how hard this industry is and I always want to give places a fair chance. Because of that it is disappointing to say that this ended up being the worst salon experience I have had. I came in for a mani pedi and the level of care was very poor. The gel application was sloppy and they missed spots that I had to point out more than once. The design I asked for did not match the reference photo well at all and it looked only about 80 percent similar. I also had to ask multiple times just to get my nails properly filed which is something every salon normally does without being asked. When I mentioned that a few nails were not straight they insisted they looked perfect and the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. What surprised me the most was the pricing. My mani pedi here cost more than the mani pedi plus full face wax I regularly get in Northern VA and the quality did not match the price. I truly wish my experience had been better and I hope this feedback helps others know what to expect.

Anyway, I tell my tech 3x my water is cold. No changes made. He proceeds to use metal cheese grater. I ask "arent those illegal to use ?" He giggles and continues. I askhim to stop. He continues until he is done. Then proceeds to purposely empty the shavings into the pedi bath water. Which he then splashes and rubs my lower legs with. He cut my cuticle 2 times. I dont mean a tiny 'oops'. He giggles again. I say I'm done‼ I request the owner/manager and explain the entire situation. The loud company, the inability to relax. Being cut, being ignored by my tech. She explains he doesn't speak English. She charges me $35 for this encounter‼ No towel to wipe my wet, and now bleeding feet. I do NOT recommend going here. The place was in a bit of disarray given the time of day (30 min after opening). The employee had to wipe down the work area with a Clorox wipe before I could sit.
