I like to stop here when I am in the area. They have cute and useful accessories. Yesterday, they were set up outside under a tent, which the circumstances, was appreciated. Cute store! The Best of Everything store really has the best of everything! It's actually a pretty big store and has an upstairs with kids stuff! It doesn't look big from the outside, but it's a long length store. Everything is pretty reasonably priced! There's a decent amount of jewelry, but you can also find anything from kitchen products, cell phone products, accessories, knick knacks and more! They also have stuff out on a deck on the side. The employees were nice and made small talk. My mother in law said this location smelled the same as the locations in FL and they also played the same music, but the other locations sell more jewelry. This is such unique a shop! I thought it was only a jewelry store but when we came back, there was another side that carries an assortment of trinkets and gift items! And they also have some Maine souvenirs for tourists as well! I ended up purchasing a cute little creme brulee dish along with a boho tassel necklace and a matching bracelet. I only have 2 things to point out: 1) it's way too cluttered inside (but neatly displayed) and it was a little overwhelming after a few minutes of browsing 2) the staff here looks so unhappy! They should try greeting people or after a transaction, a simple phrase like "have a nice day" would feel less awkward... We came on a recommendation from a cool bartender at Billy's Chowder House in Wells - she was wearing a gorgeous turquoise and silver ring she'd purchased here. There are lots of tempting necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pins, pendants, and chains, all very cheap. (And imported, I'm sure.) The shop also carries some nice home accessories. Souvenir Kennebunkport dish towels are actually made in the US! I looked around at other shops, and they were $1 less here than at other places in town. I love this place and come every year when I visit Maine. A lot of my watch collection is from here, as the prices are amazing!! I have gotten other jewelry here, too, as well as gifts for my bestie, who loves jewelry, too. However, I have NOT found the staff to be friendly, or helpful at all!! My friend bought me a gift card to here for helping her with her wedding. I'm native of southern Maine and try to steer clear of downtown Kennebunkport but I had to use my GC. She said "I know you will like this store." I sure did. It is a great place to get a gift for someone. They have a large selection of sterling silver jewelry as well as costume jewelry that is very classy looking. Everything is very reasonably priced. They also carry different kinds of bags, scarfs, watches, fun kitchen items etc. If you're looking for a nice gift for yourself or someone else I would recommend this place. OMG I was in my glory in this store which I visit couple of days ago. (been in the one in Naples, Fl) I got such a great stuff in this store in Maine and I just wish I could get everything. Great place to get a beautiful figt for a very resonalble price. I am returning with my friends several times more. I got a beautiful cape like animals prints and got already so many "omg this is so lovely" and where you got it. So many conpliments and only have it for 2 days. Best of everything but attitude. I walked in w/my well-behaved 5-yr-old and was met w/"that look" that only people with eyeglasses can give - death stare over the rims. She was reprimanded for pressing the button on a dancing figurine - placed at kids' level. I was accosted for holding a sippy cup of water. "Is that full?" I said, "It has 2 sips left." The staff here is so unfriendly! Not a hello, a thank you or a smile in sight. I feel if you hate working in a store that has lots of tourists and you hate your job, get a different job. I have been going here since they opened and love the store. But I have to agree with other reviewers -- the attitude of the two sales people working on Dec. 11 left a lot to be desired. Neither person greeted you with a hello or good morning. Went through the whole checkout transaction without a word (except to each other). The 2nd sales person waiting on my friend knocked the whole tray of purchases on the floor without even a sorry - just picked it up, checked her out and handed her the package. My wife was really excited about going to this place and I was prepared to buy her a really nice birthday present if she found something she liked. We found the place and entered the parking lot. There was a sign that only said 2 hour parking. We parked our car and decided to have lunch and then go to the store. The owner of Best of Everything was on the balcony watching us. He decided that we were not going to enter his store immediately and started yelling at me in front of my four kids. Not cool. He said that it was his parking lot and that I was blocking a car (not true) and for me to "get my caahh outta heah!" The guy was a real jerk. So, we got back in the car and left. Long story short...we found another jewelry store and spent $1,785.00 there. To the owner...I hope you read this and hope it was worth it, you jerk.
