She took the time to show me around and let me know I could ask if I needed anything. The large washers are $8, and dryers start at $0.50. It's a cash/coin-only laundromat, but there's a change machine available. There's also a bathroom, which was clean. They have a vending machine as well, although it was empty during my visit. I picked up the shirts 3 days later with hangers all wire tied together covered in a big plastic bag. Today I uncovered them and separated them in horror. 43 dollars to have brand new shirts look a wreck. They have more wrinkles than Ruth Bater Ginzburg. I NEED a few of these shirts in a few days AND need a pair of pants hemmed. What a mess this has become. Do I have them re do them ? The other initial problem that I had when I came in and found out that the machines don't take coins anymore I was trying to talk with the attendant and she was Spanish and she did not understand what I was asking her and so she was unable to explain to me what I needed to do in order to obtain the card and how to work the washer and dryers. There was another kind lady in the laundromat who explained to me how it worked and how to get money on to the card it would have been better if the attendant could have explained that because if it had not been for the lady helping me I would have had to use my translator to translate the conversation. I understand the clientele here it is primarily Spanish customers but the attendant should also be able to explain bare minimum how to use the machines and she kept on saying $2 and I didn't understand what that meant. The other thing is I ended up having to reload my card I needed a couple more dollars just to drive my comforter I was not able to add two or three dollars the minimum that you can add on the card is $10 so you're basically suck with this card with money on it you can only use it here so if you move out of the area you just have a card with how ever much money left on it. Other than those small problems the laundromat is always clean when I come the washers are always clean and it's a quiet environment I I will continue to come back while I'm in the area because the location is safe.

There were so many choices for dry cleaners I just originally used Zips in Glen Burnie. I wasn't impressed at all after multiple visits. I decided to try out Carousel Cleaners because they were the closest to my house. The women and gentleman (I forgot their names) were very nice and professional. I requested that they fold my dress shirts instead of hanging them and they had no problem doing that. I have brought in a white dress shirt with some pretty bad printer toner residue on the forearms of the sleeves. I picked it up and it was as good as new. They have also done some hemming for me with great results and also cleaned some pretty old and dirty pea coats I have. One evening I was pulling into the parking lot to pick up some items and a gentleman was walking in the door. As he stepped in the women saw him and before he stepped up to the front desk she was hanging up his pickup items without him pulling out his ticket or anything. He immediately said "This is why I love this place." And went on about how awesome they were. From that moment on I knew I found a keeper.

When I asked about this the woman at the counter blamed the ruined buttons on me by saying, "You should've asked me to wrap them in tinfoil. That's what people do." She said this repeatedly. I did not ask her to cover the buttons. I assumed she would. She then said, "Is this the first time you've had the jacket dry cleaned?", implying that I brought it in with ruined buttons. I asked,"Is there anything you can do about these buttons to fix them?" She said no and repeated it was my fault. I then said, "Do you review the item prior to cleaning it?" (For example, is it from Walmart or Neiman Marcus? Is it cotton or silk? Are the buttons cheap plastic or fancy metal?) She said, "No we don't. We have too many customers for that." And then blamed me a few more times. At that point I said, "You know you've ruined the buttons on an expensive jacket. What you could've done is rather than blaming me, just say something like, "Hey I'm sorry this happened. I'm happy to replace the buttons." She then started to sarcastically and repeatedly bow down saying, "Oh I'm so sorry oh I'm so sorry oh I'm so sorry; is that what you wanna hear? oh I'm so sorry." I then said, "This is terrible customer service. You are blaming me for something you did incorrectly." She then repeatedly denied blaming me. For Pete's sake, they are dry cleaners. That's what they do. They dry clean clothes. Cheap ones and expensive ones and all kinds of clothes It's not brain surgery. Take an extra moment to make sure that you do it right. But blame the customer? Make it make sense. For $10 of replacement buttons, she's lost a customer worth countless dollars not to mention bad press. As you can imagine, there were other words said but I've given you the gist of it. This company may be fine for laundering shirts I guess but do not bring in anything that is of any value because simply you are putting it at risk. It may come out fine. It may be damaged. Either way, they don't care. They feel no responsibility for anything.
