I hired Best Quality Billiards to move a pool table from Lakewood to my new home in Aurora. They came on the same day as my other movers that were emptying my entire house. They did a great job. There disassembled the table in the midst of the chaos of other movers packing up the house. Also, they were ready to go to the new house before the rest of the movers were. So, I had someone meet them at my new house and they did the entire assembly and re-felted the table at the new home, without me needing to be present, allowing me to deal with the rest of the move. During the repair and rehabilitation of a circa 1880 cylinder-top desk, I needed a small piece of navy blue worsted wool to re-cover the writing area. The nearest match I could find was a high-quality billiard cloth by Simonis of Belgium. Best Quality Billiards was recommended to me by one of their competitors for having rolls of cloth that could be cut to measure; I only needed two feet of the bulk worsted cloth. I talked with one BQB employee on the phone and he said "Come on down". At the store a different employee helped me pick out a Simonis worsted wool that was a near-match to my 100-plus year old sample. Both employees, being in the service and restoration field as well as sales, were interested in my desk project and we talked about how hard the dry Colorado climate can be on precious antiques from the northeastern U.S.. Its doubtful that I will ever buy a billiard table but if I do, Best Quality Billiards will be on my short list of suppliers. Its a great store! read more

They had the options I wanted (wood color, felt, pockets, table legs/feet, etc...) & the price was good. The installation was easy to schedule, and the guys who came out answered my questions and spent time explaining what they were doing and the things I should know to care for my new purchase and keep it in good shape.
