I am a contractor building a house in Estes Park. I have rented a forklift from them a few times,…read moreand recently rented some scaffolding for two days. When I got the invoice for the scaffolding it was for nearly $250 for three bucks and when they delivered it I was shorted one set of cross bracing. I went in to the store to discuss the bill and was told it was correct. The young man I was dealing with consulted an older man who I assumed was a manager and he said the bill was correct so I paid it. When I said that was a very expensive price to the older man and I said I could have bought one set for that price and he said not for BilJax quality and walked out of the office. I just got home and looked at the bill and discovered I was charge the monthly rate for the scaffolding; I had it for two days. Given the attitude of the manager who spoke to me I now wonder if this is a scam that they run on people they don't know? I'll be going back through my previous invoices to check on the pricing. If you have to deal with them, as they are the only game in town, beware and be sure to check your invoices. One likes to trust local companies like this, but as it turns out you must be cautious.
