First time to be asked for a smog test and this place was recommended by a friend. All the reviews are true and I'm glad I went with the suggestion. Highly professional, very quick, and fairly priced. If you bring in a coupon printed from their website, you get $10 more off. And they have a waiting room available. We were looking to get my daughters car smogged so we could register it in her name after purchase. It was July 3rd and I was planning to go to another downtown smog spot, but they were closed. We noticed this one was close and open and decided to give it a shot. When we pulled up, there was plenty of parking and the office had a little seating area to wait or you could wait in the parking lot. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got in and out pretty quickly and the pricing was average for smog in this town. Definitely appreciate this place and would recommend if you are needing a smog! read more

Mr. Lee, This is why the review is negative... At the point I decided to bring my vehicle to Best Smog, I was unable to print out a coupon prior to coming. They chose to not accept the coupon off of my phone. My vehicle failed, so I could either take it somewhere else for full price or bring it back to them for a discounted retest. I obviously did the latter. This time I brought a printed coupon with me in hopes that they would either credit my previous smog check or take it off the retest. Why should they care? It hits their bottom line the same, right? Turns out, I was wrong. They wouldn't accept it for either service. I ended up giving my coupon to a guy that had just walked in who also didn't know about the printed coupon rule. Saved him $10 bucks. I get policies and why it's important to have them, but you have to be a little flexible, especially when it comes to dealing with customers, and especially when you get business from places like yelp (which is where I found you). Also, in my opinion, there are not many good reasons to not accept digital coupons for a service nowadays. Nevertheless, Thanks for the reply. I upgraded you to 3 stars. read more

Do not go here for a smog! He failed our truck not based on the emissions test which passed with no trouble but a visual inspection where the Cadillac converter had been replaced with an aftermarket stating it wouldn't be as efficient! However it clearly was sufficient or it would not have passed the emissions test?! It passed at another facility a week later with no changes what so ever and to let you know my husband has been a mechanic for 15yrs and was quite mad, he'd never heard of such ridiculousness! This place is so good that I quickly decided to write the review before I forgot to. I drove in at 4:05 and drove right out at 4:25. Very quick service! I was an out of state smog inspection and the gentlemen was very knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service.
