This is cool that they offer a super affordable smog option. Just make sure he's actually there. The shop is located in a row of other shops, and this guy doesn't have the same hours of operation. Their yelp page said they were open but, upon arriving, I was told by workers from the other shops that he is never in before 10am. wtf. So we were going to wait a bit but I decided to call. He answered. I asked if they were open. "Yes!" he assured me. I was looking at a closed garage door. I said, "I am here in the parking lot." Then he said "Okay I will open." but I thought you WERE open? Then he hung up. We waited. Five, ten, fifteen minutes. No sign of him. It was 9:55 by this point. We had wasted 45 minutes. I called him again. He answered. Then, before I could get a full word out, he hung up. I called back. Immediately went to voice mail, which let me know he ignored my call. We left and went to Blue Ribbon. If you want to do well in business you should get your shit together and at least not blatantly lie to people who want to give you their money. read more

Terrible. Lots of energy and time wasted. The shop closes early often even when they confirm they will be open until a certain time. They gave my dad the run around, telling him that x,y, and z needed to take place before the car could pass the smog check. Once he did all of that, the shop was closed every time we went to finish our smog check. Since they were closed we went to another shop (ADI Smog) and they let us know that the info we were given was incorrect and that the car was able to pass the test in it's current state. After weeks we finally received the smog check. Wasted money on White Lane Smog, should have just gone to ADI Smog first! read more

This was my first time doing a smog check but from looking around to see which would be the less expensive this one was not that bad. I expected it to take a while but it only took 30 minutes, this involved waiting for the person who was in front of us. Price was affordable and the guy did it quick. I have no complains. read more

His hours are the same as the DMV. If they're open so is he. It was $60 for the whole thing and he sent the info to the DMV. I was in and out within 15 mins. I was nervous because he was kinda rude at first but I just kept smiling and 3 mins in he couldn't help but chuckle and be kind to me. It's 9am and he spends his day(until 5) smelling engine oils in a garage. Yeah I'd be grouchy in the morning too. He's a family guy running his own little business. I'm glad I met him and I'd recommend coming here. It probably would of been cheaper if I used the coupon but I was to caught up that I forgot to tell him about it prior. Lol. Not a big deal. They have a coupon for 35 bucks online, but it's kind of misleading. When I presented it to the guy he was kind of rude about it and said the total would be 45 bucks so I left. I don't want to trust somebody with my car if I sense even a hint of dishonesty. I went to A1 Smog on Rosedale Hwy instead because I saw good reviews and I was happy there (took less than 10 min and the girl behind the counter was very nice) even though it was 5 dollars more ($50). Also, looking at the other reviews for this place I see several 5 star ratings that say exactly the same thing....like word for word. Seems like they are reviewing their own business just trying to boost their yelp rating. I can't speak for their quality and speed of service, but they don't seem very honest. read more
