Because of his knowledge, he found things that no other company noticed. He was able to answer all my questions clearly and in a way that I could understand, even with no knowledge of HVAC systems. He spoke very highly of the installers, which eased my mind and gave me confidence in the company. Finley and Joe were my installers. They showed up on time, introduced themselves and immediately made me feel at ease. It was very apparent to me that they were knowledgeable with the install and that Mike had communicated with them about everything that needed to be done (removing a 1970's era humidifier from my crawlspace and patching the hole). I was pleasantly surprised with how polite both installers were to each other. They routinely checked on each other and told each other thank you. Finley even asked Joe several times if he was getting too hot outside. When Joe had a question, Finley would answer it respectfully. He never seemed bothered or in a hurry but genuinely waned to help. I don't think I would ever see this level of respect in another company. Finley and Joe did a fantastic job on the installation. They were very efficient and organized. They cleaned up the worksite and even made sure that the fence was closed for my dogs. Purchasing a new HVAC system and having strangers in my home that are sawing into my roof could have been so much more stressful than what it was. I cannot thank Mike, Finley and Joe for a seamless and stress-free experience. I will be a customer for life.

When we discovered that our furnace suddenly quit working, we had determined that it needed a new transformer. So my husband purchased a new one (for $17) and hooked it up. We then learned that not only was the transformer bad, but also the pc board. After talking to several different reputable heating/cooling businesses, we decided to go with Allied Services since they were relatively local. My husband immediately explained to the supervisor (Mark) on the phone that there was a brand new transformer already in place and that we probably only needed a new pc board and to make sure that whoever made the service call was not to turn on the furnace and run it for a period of time, or the brand new transformer would blow. For whatever reason, the service guy apparently didn't know this or chose to ignore this information because the next thing we knew, he said the transformer had blown and needed replaced. I was at home and gave the ok to replace it, not knowing any better. The original transformer cost us only $17, but Allied Services sold us their versionfor $88 (very large difference in price). Long story short, they wouldn't put a new pc board in without a new transformer and now they refuse to give us even part of our money back. This situation is clearly their error, especially when the service guy even admitted the transformer looked brand new to him. I'm disappointed from a customer's point of view the lack of customer focus with this company. My husband and I will not be returning to them and definitely will not recommend them to anyone.
