His four man crew was there early the next morning with a tree boom and chipper and took care of not only the fallen limb, but took out the dead wood from the tree and parts overhanging the roof. While they were here, I asked them to take the overhanging limbs on the roof from a large tree in front which they did. The whole job was completed and completely cleaned up by 12:30 PM! They were very efficient and professional. They really know what they are doing! The quality was excellent and the value unmatched! I highly recommend them!

What a mistake. She lied to us that she was licensed and insure. Her crew did poor quality work hiding the fact that several sprinkler, Heads were broken when the crew was taking our sod out. Then she asked my husband for an unreasonable bonus for us after doing a rock wall and charges us bogus hours as well. Then she keep giving us outrageous bids for additional work. She was definitely scamming us. I stopped the work and cancel our last check to her after she admitted she knew about the broken sprinkler heads. Be aware. She consciously comes across as a sincere person to develop your trust, in order to scam you later on. She got fairply compensated for the work her crew did minus the repairs and headaches to have a reputable contractor to finish. I would never hire her again. I am also making referrals to the appropriate licensing agencies about conducting work with out the appropriate licensing requirements and then lying about it.

I was an HOA president for a small HOA of 13 homes and dealt with Kimball regularly for over ~2.5…read moreyears. I was brand new to the position and I had come into it with Kimball being put on as the property maintenance company so I didn't really know what to look for until I read our contract after about a year in the position. Upon doing so, Kimball was wasn't fulfilling their contract by: 1) not scheduling our irrigation system at all. I'd usually have to remind them to turn it on even. As a result of this, we had to replace about a third of our native grasses, shrubs, and ground cover. 2) they never checked the health of our irrigation lines. Again, they'd just turn our drip system on for the summer and that was it. The contract said they'd inspect it after every lawn mow, which was 1x weekly. As far as I could tell, that rarely, if ever, happened. 3) at first they were doing a great job of a now removal but by the end our ~2.5 year stint, they'd come out to plow our small private driveway about 2 days after a storm, which the snow would generally be melted by then. One time they even backed into our trash & recycling gate, broke it, and I had to call them about it for them to come clean. Only reason I found out was because one of the neighbors caught them in the act. On top of all the contractual troubles occurring during the first two years, I received the third year contract two months after our previous contract had expired and they tried raising our price by $100/mo. the third year. I talked to the project manager about it and we agreed that we should have a buffer year before raising the price. He sent me contract and I sent it back within the month. About 2-3 months later when I noticed I hadn't received a bill, I reached out to Kimball to find out that they had stopped servicing our property because they "did not receive a signed contract on time." This is all to say that from 2.5 years experience with them, I would avoid Kimball (and their parent company Brightview) at all costs. They did not honor their contract and because of this I constantly had to babysit them to honor their contract with us.

Adrian and Alfredo were happy to explain things to me as they progressed through the task. They stayed late and came in on a weekend to complete the project. When I reached out to the office to confirm things, the call taker was easy to understand and courteous. CAVEAT: Looking at the other reviews, I'm thinking that people are having different experiences with different offices. My review applies to the Draper, UT office.

As fate would have it, I had another sprinkler valve crack and leak a few weeks back. This after…read moreit was actually working just fine. Go figure. So, I called Hot Shot and spoke to Aubrey...and got a sprinkle technician over to look at it a few weeks ago. Abraham and Jonathan arrived on time and took at look at my "Zone 1" valve and gave me an estimate of $500 to replace the valve. The cost was exacerbated as the valve was next to the Zone 2 valve and sunken in a case that was embedded in concrete...limiting access. C'est la vie. That and they didn't have the new upgraded valve to replace my vintage (and cracked) Irritrol 205T valve/solenoid and Rain Jet RJ713 anti-siphon valve arrangement. Abraham and Jonathan returned yesterday (Saturday, 3 MAY 2025) and brought the new valve with them. In about 90 minutes - including cutting the old cracked valve away with a wire garrotte - the new valve was installed and working. I tested it and it was leak-free. However, the wiring for the adjacent Zone 2 was jacked up and wasn't working. So, I stopped Abraham and Jonathan just as they were pulling away. A quick check by Jonathan and a quick re-wire, and everything was perfect. All in all, Four Stars for great work by Abraham and Jonathan and for showing me all of the work they did. I will have them back for further repairs and services in the coming years!
