Ron was very helpful and we plan on using this service for the foreseeable future. We ended up having to owe the irs (which is irregular) but we are at the mercy of not being a tax professional, so I trust his judgement. Ron was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable and helpful. He is no more expensive than H&R block. I think if you're a business, you've got to have a working bathroom. I debated saying something, but if others exist who are on medication, then this is a big deal. It's for this reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I trust this establishment as much as I trust most others. Ron got the job done and we even had to get creative to find documents I didn't have. I'm not so sure other places would have done that. I went to him for 2 years and was going to this year but I am glad I did not. He was arrogant with me too which never works when you are the face of your business. It turns people off from doing business with you or coming back again. So the arrogance was irritating, but I came back only to learn the arrogance is not deserved or earned. I asked for price and paid $350 every year for a sole proprietor 1040 personal tax return with a schedule C. What I am most upset about is that when asking him about a new business, he told me wait until I had income before filing for it. I did not file for that business last year due to his response that I should wait. So, most business owners are now thinking as they read this that was BAD ADVICE AND WRONG. AND they would be right. I now cannot write off those expenses anymore and they were sizable. So, if you want accurate advice, maybe get a second opinion before listening to Ron. Why not just charge me more? Why screw up my ability to claim expenses? So disappointed and irritated by this. WHY DO THIS? Business owners beware. What else is he advising that is inaccurate? No ethics what so ever! Please read. I first called to make an appointment. The receptionist was friendly and easy. I did arrive about 10 mins late (which is my fault). Then the accountant in a very arrogant tone said "You're late." I first thought he was kidding, until he jump straight into asking about my taxes. "not married? "no kids?" "no house?" I was in a budget, and I did my research before doing my taxes. I knew the cost of my taxes would be between 50 to 100 dollars, since I am a single college student that does not owe or own anything. The accountant with the glasses said this would cost me $250 dollars. He made a BS excuse why. He something about the economy being tough because of covid. I knew that was straight BS (as I have a business degree) I politely decline. The accountant had my w2 form in his hand then dropped them to the desk (he did not throw them either). I just thought how of an arrogant person he was. I then found the perfect place called "Royal Tax Service" The cost was 50 dollars as I expected. I told him about my experience, and we laugh it off. Please avoid this place, he clearly does this bs often. I had called to ask for a price to do my taxes and I was told $125 no matter what AFTER I had already told the person which I think he is the owner of the place what forms I had. I made an appointment and I went to my appointment when he surprised me with a $250 dollar charge and started telling me I was going to pay twice as much somewhere els and I told him no thank you. He got really bothered and I told him to have a great day and he didn't even bother responding or even saying bye. I would not recommend this place at all because i feel these type of places lie with prices so you can come in and since your already there some fall and end up doing there taxes. I wish Yelp had the option to not put a star rating or at least half a star By the way there is other tax places that charge way cheaper, keep searching people. read more

I normally do our taxes as they are pretty simple and straightforward, however I found I needed extra help on our return this year as we had some significant changes and I found myself confused. Of course my first move was to check Yelp for a tax preparer, out of the 5 companies I requested a quote from he was one of only two to reply! Not only was he quick with a response but his quote was reasonable and we were able to make an appointment same day! He was polite, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in helping us get the best outcome we could. Not sure if I will always need a professional as I really hate to pay to do something I can do myself, but this year it was a great move as Ron saved us almost $600 vs what the "free" (which was actually going to charge me $80) software had proposed ...so in this case money well spent! read more
