Poor experience with ASI tech today…read more KitchenAid dishwasher under Original 1st year warranty issue:: Tech ran a diagnostic troubleshoot, and cleared 1 error code . Tech did not explain what code he cleared And got a lot of smart ass feedback . 1. Kitchen sink side counter should not be wet . 2 Maybe water is dripping in , and that is not going to be covered in warranty 3 Since we have a water softener Use 1/4 of the soap tablet ! 4 If not , we will have soap film on plates 5 Front metal front shows water spots indicating possible seepage . I asked him to show me any seepage 6 Tech found a code , cleared it and stated He would not charge me $149 this time , however next time he will not be able to waive due to not finding a cause of random shut down.
