This is an update to my previous review. The next time I shopped at Best Thrift, I saw a note at the checkout counter announcing that they do mark everything up about 4%. I had not noticed this before. So yes, they do announce it. However, I visited again on a Monday, which is Senior Day. Customers aged 55+ get a 25% discount off their entire order (I am 55+). They also have a "frequent shopper" discount card good for 15% off. The cashier (who, by the way he interacted with the staff, appeared to be a manager) said I could use just one. I said no prob, use the one that will give me the best deal. Again, when I got home, I checked my receipt. He had given me the 15% discount instead of the 25% discount. I was disappointed. I was overcharged --less than $10, but still. I never reported it because there are signs that say, "All sales are final; no refunds." Besides, am I going to be the Karen who complains about being overcharged at a THRIFT STORE?!! Haha. On the other hand, their selection is pretty good, esp in the women's section. I've found new and nearly-new items my size, some with the tags still on. And I've found cute gently-used clothing for my grandkids. So yes, I will continue to shop here, especially on discount days. read more

We were greeted by an employee when we walked in they were very nice. There is a variety of clothing to pick from with a large men, women, and children's section. Things aren't clearly labeled by size making it slightly difficult to find clothing that fits. Things seem fairly priced from what I saw. It's clearly a good spot as it was fairly busy. read more

I visited this store with very high hopes. It was close to our hotel and I love thrifting when I'm out of town. Unfortunately, we were hit with the smell of marijuana immediately opening the door to enter the store. This may not have been the fault of the store but of some folks in there so I'm not faulting the store for that. Where my disappointment comes in is that some of the racks were BARE. I had high hopes of coming in and being able to have a decent selection and that was not the case. It was also very difficult for us to figure out the order of the sizing of the products. It seemed like everything was mixed in. I will say the folks working there were very pleasant and make up the reason that I'm giving it 3 stars. The prices look similar to those we have in the city, that is also why I'm giving this rating. read more

Mens selection was not great. Tons of chode jeans. It was fairly picked over. Same for the home section there are a lot of chargers but nothing that seems to go with those. read more

I stop at this store every time I'm in town and usually have a good experience but today the music playing was a Very offensive song!! It began with saying " I'm driving like a Black " and went on to make explicit sexual references. When I mention to the worker that is was offensive and someone should change it she sarcastically remarked "I'll get right on that" and conversed with another cashier about my request and chuckled as I was checking out my purchases 6 ft. Away. Then she loudly said " you say jump and I say how high" I responded are you going to jump and change the song and she said "sure" and jumped up in the air and said " see it's a different song". I told her she was a gem! There was no need for her sarcasm as I wasn't rude about my request. What a horrible example of customer service you have out front representing your company! We've been traveling around the country, and have been stopping into a lot of thrift stores all over it. This is one of the best. There is a nice interesting selection of books, my wife bought a bunch of tops, I got five jigsaw puzzles (and had to restrain myself from getting more) and we also bought a battery operated clock that projects the time on the celing. Cool. We got 4 bags of stuff for $21! Plenty of parking, the place was clean, and the jumble of stuff was very acceptable for a thrift store. If I lived in OKC, I'd be back often.Great job, Best Thrifters! read more

Great thrift store for clothing! Cheap, tons of clothing, clean . I just wished they sized their racks.

My family and I have been coming to this store for many year and loved the things we have found. Today, I saw a comforter and leaned over to see what size it was. A lady behind the counter yelled at me to not look at it as they have not put it out yet. Said it's a safety thing. First of all I was not digging in the basket that it was sitting on and two a lady and her daughter were just looking inside the basket two seconds before me and she did not say a word. The place was a mess and everyone there looked like they were angry. I have never been treated so badly at any thrift store. I put my stuff back on the shelf and bought only two small things and left. I will never walk into this store again as there are other stores with happy friendly people. If it's not in back I have never been told I could not buy something that was marked. Shame on you! read more

Large thrift store filled with clothing, sorted by item such as jeans, sweaters, etc. Nothing is sorted by size except for maternity and plus size clothing. I was able to find a few tops. Most items are a decent price, I even got a button down shirt for under a $1 and saw a pair of jeans marked free but I did see a dress I sort of liked but at $7 I wasn't willing to chance it. They have a couple of bookshelves of books not a great selection for children's books. A few isles have toys on the top and they have a few shelves of electronic items. They had a lot of Christmas things out in April. There is also a wall full of glassware and kitchen items. They keep the bathroom locked and when I asked an employee to open it she acted as if she didn't want to go do it. read more

probably my favorite thrift store ever! bought a ton of name brand clothing for really cheap! best variety of ladies clothes very nice store. It would have been easier to shop if they were in sizes because I was in a hurry, but the prices made up for the hassle of searching. I would definitely shop there alot if I were local. read more

Pros: Big store, well organized and If you hit it frequently enough you can find some really great items. Store stays busy so stuff doesn't sit long. Cons: Parking is awful, really narrow. They share a building with an industrial type business so try not to catch a nail in your tire. Most things are waaaay overpriced and their "sales" are deceptive. For example, they advertised that all clothing items with a green tag were 50% and when I get to the register I was told that my coat was excluded, then I sat there while her and another employee went back and forth about whether it was half off or not. Well, I got it half off. Don't know if you'll get as lucky. Employees are generally rude. Short with you, act put out that you are there. A few weeks ago they had this invisible line that they wanted you to start lining up at to check out. I guess we were magically supposed to know that it was there and they were yelling at everyone to step back behind it, the way they spoke to their customers was unprofessional to say the least. Just be aware that they have a little sign now on the north end of the building, half hidden behind a rack of clothes, that you are supposed to stand at to check out. read more

A young man working there while I was shopping used the F-word and the S-word in the same sentence while shouting across the room to a co-worker. He was describing the part of his work that he already had done and didn't even seem angry, although he complained that he did more work than others. It was inappropriate for a business where children often accompany their parents. The quality of clothing was not high enough to put up with that kind of emotional environment. I'm no prude -- I curse like a sailor, but not in public settings, and certainly not yelling across a large room when children are present. Late-afternoon sun through the west-facing store makes the place pretty uncomfortable too. I doubt I will go back. Community Thrift at NW 23rd & MacArthur as well as SW 44th & Penn are far better. read more
