They gave us until 2:00 to to leave which is not enough time because it's 1:00 right now. So all of a sudden they change the price and now going to force me and my family to get out What a rip off! Don't go to this hotel cuz they will steal your money kick you out And don't give you time to pack everything up and call someone.

When I arrived at Midnight on 10-18-25 after working all day and driving 5 hours from Chicago, the place was swarmed with police because there was a fight in one of the rooms. Date and time stamped photos are below. There are no clear markings WHERE THE LOBBY is, it looks obvious in the photo but the the doors are locked where you would think to enter what the lobby should be. NO SIGNS, NOTHING! I called the number on the reservation from Booking.com and a person named Heather from Extended Stay answered the phone - she said she needed to call the night agent to let me in. Then she hung up on me and they never answered the phone after that. The message I got was "Please call back during regular business hours and we will be happy to assist you." The very nice lady came down to check me in, but I knew before she ever let me in, I did not want to stay there. It was dirty, smelled my pot and cigarettes and seedy people hanging around the main area and I did not feel safe at all nor did I want to deal with this garbage. All of them told me "Sir you don't want to stay here" Normally I stay at the Comfort Inn, but they were booked. There were no other rooms available anywhere. There were no rooms ANYWHERE near the Airport and I was exhausted. I ended up sleeping in my car at 65 YEARS OLD! I am beyond upset and since Extended Stay has decided NOT to issue me a refund for a room I never stayed in I will return the favor and show the world HOW SCREWED UP THEY ARE AND HOW BAD THIS HOTEL REALLY IS! FOR NOT ISSUING ME A REFUND I will make sure this hits your corporate office so they know how their company really treats their customers.

My nephew drove our car to see other relatives there, the car had been previously registered, so it was on the list. The hotel accused my relatives of not paying for my nephew, so they towed the car on a Saturday about a mile away and of course the lot was closed on Sunday so an extra day. It cost me $450 for a one mile tow. Obviously a sweetheart deal. I documented it in a review and they recognized the name and said if I didn't withdraw the review they would throw my relatives out, so I had to. At the prices this place charges, it could be a decent place, but it reeks and is just nasty as can be. I understand the need to follow rules, but it's pure predation. The desperate are just victimized over and over again.

The place has no hot water in their rooms and there has not been a notice posted on a wall or slid under a door regarding the issue. It's been like this for about 3 weeks. The laundry room is terrible. You have to go across the street and spend cash to wash your clothes because the dryers can't dry your clothes. You've got residence smoking in the halls which creeps into your room giving it the most odious stench of roadkill. Not to mention it's rodent infested. So unless you absolutely have nowhere else to go, DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I knew I wasn't going to get the nicest hotel ever, but, sheesh, I didn't know it was going to be this bad. I was greeted with a musty smell as I went into the lobby. I didn't really think much of it as I checked in. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and efficient. She gave us our room number and we went up to the third floor. The first thing we noticed was the horribly stained carpet and the poorly patched holes in the wall. Then the smell of cigarette smoke hit us. And it hit us hard. I think we both had a feeling of dread as we opened the door to the room. Much to our surprise, the room was clean and smelled OK. It had a faint musty smell but it was tolerable. The worst thing about the room was the way that sound carried throughout the building. It was hard to sleep through all the noise -- people slamming their doors, various conversations, TV noise... It was a loud weekend. The staff was pleasant, the room was so-so, but the rest of the building is a run-down mess. All I can say is that I'm glad I only spent $20/night to stay there, and I won't do it again.

Their parking lot has an attendant overnight to keep an eye on cars. Staff checking us in were helpful. Explained the kickback hours perk, breakfast and the free popcorn in the evening. The kickback perk is great! Three free cocktails/beer/soda and heavy appetizers. We loved taking advantage of it. The room was larger than expected. Enjoyed the walk in shower. I was surprised at how little noise we heard in the halls from other guests. You are in the city so you'll hear noises like sirens. The parking lot did seem to fill up quickly at night but I think that was due to the attached restaurant. We will be looking for this hotel chain on future travels.

On May 31, 2026, I checked into the Comfort Inn at 10225 Lone Eagle Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044…read more After unloading our luggage at the inn, we returned our rental car near the airport expecting to return to the inn via a shuttle bus, only to learn they did not actually operate a shuttle even though their on-line posting promised such service. That was disappointment number 1. Disappointment number 2 was when we entered our assigned Room 220, the unscreened window was wide open letting flies into the room and totalling disabling the effectivenessof the air conditioner, making the room hot and muggy. A small confusion arose because although the desk attendant told us our assigned room was #220, the key-card folder given to us said #221. The key let us into 220, so the verbal communication was more accurate than the written communication. Then I found the following problems with the room: 1. There was no shelf in the closet, so I had to find another place to store my hat. This is the first Comfort Inn that I have encountered with this deficiency. All the others where I have stayed had at least one storage shelf in the closet. 2. There was no hook on the inside of the bathroom door so I had to find another place to hang my toiletry bag. All the other Comfort Inns at which I have stayed provided such a hook, so I though it was standard. 3. Because of their falsely advertising a shuttle service to the airport, we had to find alternate transportation to the airport the next morning. Overall, it was a huge mistake to reserve accommodatioons at this Copmfort Inn. No aspect of it was comfortable.
