Plus the fitness area was small, but I did appreciate there being one. Overall, not a bad stay. What we encountered: * Hair in the shower upon arrival. * Dust throughout the room. * Dirty walls and a filthy couch. * Flies coming through the air conditioner--I killed so many I lost count. * A broken light and a broken drain. * Blood on the bed sheets and pillow. * Dirty towels brought to our room. * We ended up cleaning parts of the room ourselves because of its condition. * Housekeeping entered our room without authorization, violating our privacy. * The hotel's system had reportedly been down since Monday, but no one informed us before we arrived. * Staff blamed us for booking the wrong dates instead of taking responsibility. * Our room keys repeatedly stopped working, even after they were replaced. * Members of our family were left without a room despite prior arrangements. * Poor communication, little accountability, and repeated service failures throughout our stay. This wasn't one isolated issue--it was a pattern of failures involving cleanliness, maintenance, customer service, and guest privacy. Every time one problem was addressed, another surfaced. I have photographs documenting **every one of these conditions** and retained documentation of the service issues we experienced. Nothing in this review is exaggerated. I hope Hilton Corporate takes a serious look at this property because it falls far below the standards guests should expect from the Hilton brand. Save yourself the frustration and stay elsewhere.

My nephew drove our car to see other relatives there, the car had been previously registered, so it was on the list. The hotel accused my relatives of not paying for my nephew, so they towed the car on a Saturday about a mile away and of course the lot was closed on Sunday so an extra day. It cost me $450 for a one mile tow. Obviously a sweetheart deal. I documented it in a review and they recognized the name and said if I didn't withdraw the review they would throw my relatives out, so I had to. At the prices this place charges, it could be a decent place, but it reeks and is just nasty as can be. I understand the need to follow rules, but it's pure predation. The desperate are just victimized over and over again.

The place has no hot water in their rooms and there has not been a notice posted on a wall or slid under a door regarding the issue. It's been like this for about 3 weeks. The laundry room is terrible. You have to go across the street and spend cash to wash your clothes because the dryers can't dry your clothes. You've got residence smoking in the halls which creeps into your room giving it the most odious stench of roadkill. Not to mention it's rodent infested. So unless you absolutely have nowhere else to go, DO NOT COME HERE!!!

When I arrived, there appeared to be prostitution taking place in the parking lot. A truck was parked outside with all four doors open and several men gathered around it. I repeatedly observed women going from the truck into the hotel and then returning to the truck. Other men would pull up, speak with the people at the truck very briefly, and then leave. Based on what I personally witnessed, the activity was extremely concerning and appeared consistent with prostitution and/or drug activity. What I encountered inside the hotel was even more alarming. While walking down the hallway, several guest-room doors were left open or partially open. From the hallway, I personally observed what appeared to be people actively smoking methamphetamine inside multiple rooms. At that point, I was done. I did not feel remotely safe remaining on the property and could not imagine staying there overnight. This wasn't a matter of the hotel being dated, inexpensive, noisy, or having poor housekeeping. I can overlook a lot at a budget hotel. I cannot overlook openly apparent drug activity inside the building and extremely concerning activity in the parking lot. I would strongly recommend that management and the appropriate authorities take a serious look at what is occurring on this property. Based solely on what I personally witnessed during my visit, I would not stay here and cannot recommend it to anyone concerned about their personal safety.

The housekeeping is mediocre at best. Unfortunately, I deleted my pictures by accident. But one of the first things that I do is pull back the comforter and sheets to check the bed. Under the fitted sheet, you could see hair. And I'm not talking just a wisp of hair, which happens. I'm talking about long hair that looks like it gathered in the bottom of your bathtub ( you know what I mean). That grossed me out. You could literally see it sitting on top of the mattress cover and through the white fitted sheet. I don't think this room has really been cleaned in a while. At least not thoroughly. I don't know what in the world was going on with the shower and shower curtain. But the shower leaked puddles into the bathroom floor. The shampoo and body wash containers that were attached in the shower were almost empty. I'll try the Pear Tree Inn next door instead.

I knew I wasn't going to get the nicest hotel ever, but, sheesh, I didn't know it was going to be this bad. I was greeted with a musty smell as I went into the lobby. I didn't really think much of it as I checked in. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and efficient. She gave us our room number and we went up to the third floor. The first thing we noticed was the horribly stained carpet and the poorly patched holes in the wall. Then the smell of cigarette smoke hit us. And it hit us hard. I think we both had a feeling of dread as we opened the door to the room. Much to our surprise, the room was clean and smelled OK. It had a faint musty smell but it was tolerable. The worst thing about the room was the way that sound carried throughout the building. It was hard to sleep through all the noise -- people slamming their doors, various conversations, TV noise... It was a loud weekend. The staff was pleasant, the room was so-so, but the rest of the building is a run-down mess. All I can say is that I'm glad I only spent $20/night to stay there, and I won't do it again.
