We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It is in a nice touristy area. The train was close by and within walking distance of museums, blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand bazaar. We also walked down to the sea a few times. We felt safe in the area and all the shop owners and people in the area were really friendly. Most people spoke English so that helped us a lot. There were atms across the street too if you need to get lira.
The hotel was nice overall. Our room was a bit small with a queen bed, twin bed, and a chair hide-a-bed that took up a lot of the room. Our luggage took up more room so we were really crowded. The rooms were really clean and nice though. Bathroom was big and clean. The restaurant served really good food and the staff were really good to us. Hotel staff was top notch as well. They helped arrange for a taxi to and from the airport and answered all our questions. They accommodated us the best the could. My only complaint would be on the first floor our room would get a lot of smoke from downstairs. We put a towel under the door and that seemed to help. read more
