My stay here was disappointing. We came to town for the weekend visiting family we booked a double queen room upon. Check in lady at the front asked if we needed a handicap room we said no and well we got one anyways We let them know when we booked we are a family of 4 2 adults and 2 young kids lady at the front desk advised us to mind our noise level before we even got our key it seemed rude to presume we'd cause some kind of disturbance and if you know we are a young family checking in and we booked days in advance maybe make sure we are in a secluded area as a posed to front an center right above the front lobby in a handicap room after check in we headed up to our room floors in front of the elevator were extremely dirty and the hand rail in the elevator was real wobbly we entered our room upon inspection room looked clean ac worked well tv phone all working hangers in the closet were broken none the less we unpacked and got ready to settle in for the night there were only two towels in the room there are 4 of us so naturally I went down for additional body towels and wash cloths at the front desk I was questioned on why I needed so many towels I explained we are a family of 4 it's late and we are showering before bed we each need a towel to dry ourselves and wash cloths to bathe with I feel if a guest is saying we need something I shouldn't have to explain myself in order to receive service maybe next time I should pack my own towels thank god I'm not handicap or an elderly person because the shower seat was unsafe to sit on I sat on the shower chair thinking I'd be able to use this peice of equipment the offer their guest in order to sit and bathe my kids as soon as I sat in the chair the legs bent apart and I was on the floor had I actually needed this shower chair their would have been a problem and a possible injury. once we get settled we go out to the vending machine unfortunately the vending machine didn't take card which would be fine if there was any way to pull cash on site but sadly no ATM. And on top of lacking on basic customer services the guest laundry room was out of service so no laundry could be done thank god we had a bathroom in our room public facilities downstairs were also out of order wish I could say at least the food is good but I can't breakfast was sad options were extremely limited and they didn't have half the stuff they are supposed to offer needless to say we will be staying elsewhere next time we come to Corsicana and if I could get a refund I would read more

Caution: Read before booking here. Stay date: May 25, 2025 Location: Corsicana Me and my partner booked here as a last minute hotel after her graduation party. We arrived around 12am and booked our hotel. After leaving our bags in the room, we stopped to get Wingstop nearby. After bringing the food back, we ate and got ready for bed. Anytime we go to a hotel, we check sheets and bedding to see whether they are clean or not. For the first time in any hotel, we found very unpleasant findings in the up-keeping of this specific hotel's bedding. On the surface of the sheets there were stains on the pillow cases , unidentifiable small piles of what looked like dead skin of some sort and hairs. Underneath the first layer of sheets , there were boogers/ and mucus slid across the side of the bed , as well as what looked like a pubic hair near the bottom. After seeing the bedding, we were hesitant to stay and but it was late, and we were tired so we asked for new sheets, but decided to go ahead and just leave before the sheets got to us. We requested a refund and the clerk said he would call the GM (Suru) to ask if it was okay to refund. The response he gave us was "the owner (Suru) said there's nothing they can do about it" We wanted to give it one more try before calling Suru, so we asked for another room and they gave us a new key. After checking the sheets on the next bed , we had the same experience. It looked like the sheets had not been changed either and the bed had more unpleasant stains, hairs and markings on it. Keep in mind, you never know what the last person has brought to the room, so this could be a flag for potential bed bugs or and worse. After seeing the sheets in the 2nd room we decided it was enough. We left around 2AM ( a 2hr total booking) and tried calling Suru with no answer ( the contact card for Suru is just the Corsicana hotel's line) Contact issues: The next day, I tried calling back, the clerk on the shift told me Suru would be back next week . I patiently waited until Monday to call, and after I called, I was told she was out sick and would not be back until the next week. When I called Monday the next week, another clerk answered, and I told her what happened the night me and my partner stayed at the hotel and that I have proof of the bedding since we took pictures and even got a receipt of our visit. She tried to get in contact with Suru with "no Luck" and told me she would leave a voicemail and note for her to see. She told me suru would be back the next day. I called back Tuesday to confirm if Suru had seen my message and was then told she would not be back until the next day again in the morning around 10am - 1pm but the clerks said they did not know what exact time she would be in. I waited until today (Wednesday June 4th 2025) to call once again and was first told "she's out of town so she won't be here today". After explaining that the other clerks told me the she would in fact, be at the hotel, the clerk says " okay, I just talked to her actually, she will be in after 3pm" After expecting Suru had been avoiding me, I called customer relations to explain to them the situation and unprofessionalism of the hotel and they said they would send a ticket in to request a refund. I told them to let me try one more time to call at 3pm so maybe I can talk to Suru. After calling once at 3:10 and then once again after 4pm I was told both times that Suru still was not there. After those called , I went ahead again and called customer relations to submit my ticket, and the representative told me "the GM said they are refusing your refund" Overall, the experience was draining, unpleasant , disappointing and unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone who is passing by to spend money on these rooms that are not kept up with. They also avoid refunding the customer even when they are at fault. Booking here puts the customer at risk when not being cleaned properly and I will not be recommending or staying at any other Best Western location because of this experience. My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. It was okay, but not awesome. The room was clean and the conventional breakfast was fine, but the pool was murky and had trash, leaves, and bugs in it. On the second night that we were there, housekeeping didn't give us any fresh towels or wash rags. I asked housekeeping to please bring some to our room, but she never did. It also said that the Continental breakfast was from 6:30-9:30. At 9:25, they turned the lights off on us as we were finishing up or breakfast. There were no towels at the pool and there was a big hornets nest in the towel container. I will not go back. read more

3.5 It's a decent spot to stay at in Corsicana. Pros: - Parking lot wraps around the building. Definite plus when towing a trailer. - Staff is friendly & helpful - Rooms are spacious - Comfortable beds - Water pressure is perfect, especially in the shower - Breakfast is typical but has 2-3 hot items Con: - Carpet needs to be replaced. Dirty/stained, smells bad Stayed here a few times when working in the area and in all the rooms I've stayed in, the carpet needs replacing. Will I stay here again? Probably, I'm hoping they change the carpet though. For the price, it's a good spot. Oh, if you don't want the sun beaming into your room in the afternoon til sunset, ask for an even numbered room. We reserved two rooms and sent in a credit card for incidentals they called because one of our employees had supposedly smoked in the room. We were told they would charge us only one fee but to let our employees know not so smoke in the room again. Our employees smoked outside never smoked inside but they charged us twice without telling us. Didn't find out till we received our statement... they will not credit this or honor their word. We arrived a little early with a group booking and were told our rooms were ready but there would be an additional charge to let us have them before check in time. several members of our group were elderly and needed a rest room. Even though several different employees were seen using the public restrooms downstairs they were locked and our group was told they were out of service. We had to walk in 100 degree heat to a service station to find restrooms. Any questions were referred to the hotel manager who was not available. Just an average hotel with owners looking for a way to milk their customers for an extra dollar. read more

To disturbing to post pictures...I've stayed at this hotel a few times while visiting my son at Navarro College. I checked in on Friday April 2, 2021 around 12:45/ 1:00 am. I stayed in room 323. After about an hour of getting settled and ready for bed, turned down my bed to find bloody sheets. The bed was made perfectly so whoever made the bed had to have seen the fresh blood stains. The gentleman on staff came up to change the bedding but I couldn't sleep wondering what else hadn't been cleaned. The next day I left a message for the owner/manager to call me (no call) and the girl at the front desk seemed bothered that I asked for the bed and room to be sanitized for my last night stay. The guy that helped me the previous night stated that the sheets had not been washed, they weren't stains that had been washed and had they had been they are suppose to check for stains before they make the beds. Covid is not an excuse for poor customer service...even when I asked for a grab and go at 10:00 am they stayed I missed the time frame so no breakfast or a comp for a night. Update: I was never offered to change rooms, just a change of sheets on a bed that had bloody sheets when I arrived..Anyway, I know things are hard now but cleaning and taking ownership is not an excuse for poor housekeeping. I missed the 9:30 am breakfast deadline because I couldn't sleep until after 6 am wondering what else was not cleaned because they ran out right at 9:30 am. read more

I checked into this hotel while traveling. There were dead roaches in the hallway stained carpets, hair that wasn't mine on the bed and the drain in the tub was clogged. It was dirty. I should have took it as warning but it was late and we were traveling in an unfamiliar area. At checkout they accused me of smoking to add another charge. Mrs. Patel refuses to call me after I left a message with the front desk and with customer service. I also did not receive a receipt in person or to my email after requesting one. read more

We had a large party and reserved 7 rooms for the night. Woke up from phone calls starting around 8 am that were non stop for four hours. The calls came in every 15 mins saying the exact same thing- "this is the front desk check out is at 11" . we began to ignore some of the phone calls around 10 to enjoy our last seconds of sleep... long night... they begin banging on the door around 10:20 to tell us that CHECK OUT WAS AT 11!!! This place was very quick to rush you out and ruin your morning sleep. If you sleep later than 8 am than I do not recommend this hotel. read more

Great customer service! The tall, blond gentleman behind the desk was so kind and helpful, he went above and beyond. Small town but big hospitality is the name of the game. We found this hotel after comparing different reviews of the others around. The hotel and its rooms are really clean and tidy, the quality of the products like soap included are good. About the staff is not so much that I saw since our staying was on a weekday (Wednesday to Thursday), however they have a person working on the breakfast room that was gentle and helpful with us. I just found ONE problem: no coffee in the breakfast [the gentle & helpful lady apologize for this since the coffee machine was broken. However, I think they should have an alternative way to produce coffee "the most important part of any breakfast" (unfortunately, some of the guests left the hotel really disappointed without having breakfast just for this)]. This hotel should it be a five stars but I consider the issue of the coffee really important, since is the most you need to start a good morning. The coffee included in the rooms is not an alternative for the should be included in the breakfast area. read more

Went into our first room, and put everything down and we noticed the beds were covered in black hair. Way too many to count. Both beds were covered in stains. Then one of the beds had bugs on it. Went to the front desk and had our room changed. The second room did have long black hairs in it as well, but it wasn't to the extent of the first room. The sheets and pillows did have stains, again. Started with 5 pillows each, only 2 were not covered in stains. In the morning, there were bugs on the bathroom floor, which is very disgusting. Would not return to again, especially because it wasn't that cheap for the quality and service. read more

Came down for the race weekend and everything was good as usual. The people upstairs were a little loud walking around. I do think they need a tv upgrade. Since being here on the weekend sports and the race replay would have been nice on an upgraded television. Maybe next year. I'll let you know. read more

I've stayed here a few times now, that being said.. The other times were great. This time? Not so much.. In the age of COVID I would have thought that the cleanliness of the rooms would've been the prerogative here. My fiance got in from a long trip around 8ish; having just moved a whole apartment from Galveston we were beat. So when we got in, all we wanted to do was hit the bed. However, the cleanliness of the room was absolutely unacceptable. There was a handprint from residue on the couch and the table in front of it that looked like someone just had a good time...Not us though. My fiance, being in cleaning mode already from the move, wiped it down and we just didn't sit on the couch. Being sore, all I wanted to do was take a hot bath... That was out of the question, given the appearance of the tub. I could go on but really? I'm disappointed. We stopped to stay here in the middle of the night on our way to Galveston. We all got up for the breakfast before we got back on the road and we were shocked about how great the breakfast was!! The lady that provided the breakfast, Helen, was the sweetest, most helpful lady! We have a 1 and 3 year old and she gladly helped them and cleaned up after them! She made an awesome breakfast and provided us with excellent service! We usually always stay at laquinta's, but we are switching to best western because Helen made our breakfast so great before we started back on the road!! Thank you Helen!! read more

I picked this hotel because of the favorable online reviews. The reviewers were not wrong. Corsicana is right on the intersate, and the hotel is easy to get to. This was an overnight stop prior to hunting/ fishing to the east. Room was clean and comfortable, and a complimentary breakfast. I will stay there again on next year's trip! read more

Worst experience, will never stay at this Hotel EVER again. We arrived late in the evening 4/23/16, checked into our room that smelt like wet paint, walls looked like they were in the middle of patching repairs on the walls. Celling looked like it had water damage and they tried to cover it up, lamp shade had a disgusting stain, carpet base was peeling up. The walls were filthy with stains and dirt, the head board and picture frames had paint or sheetrock repair mud splattered all over. I tried to switch to another room, they were sold out for the night, already input my cc information (holding amount for room) had no other rooms available, my husband said we had been driving for hours and needed sleep (laid on our pillows and blankets we had in the car). Woke up the next morning, my daughter starts to take a shower, and NO hot/warm water at all! I pick up the phone to call the front desk, and no dial tone... phone was not working. I go down stairs to the front desk, she tells me they were having problems with the water heater and phones in 1/2 of the hotel! She went up to the room and said herself she didn't know why they would have put us in this room, it smelt bad, and looked like it was under construction. She then gives me a key to another room and asked if we could use that shower across the hall, so I said yes... my daughter still had shampoo in her hair... when we open the door the room and bathroom were dirty, steam still on the mirror, used soaps and towels thrown in and outside of the tub, and beds were unmade. I go down stairs again (because there are no working phones) talk to her again, she said she was trying to find the cleaning lady on the camera to call her in the room she's cleaning but can't because the phones are out so she can't contact her to let me in a clean room. Tells me she can't leave the front desk, asked if I could, go ask her to open a room for me to take a shower, I thought she was joking, but she wasn't! Finally got a clean room/shower on the opposite side of the hotel. Lets just say I was not happy. I was ready to get out of there! All this time she was trying to contact the manager/owner that was off site at their other location across the freeway, finally got in contacted them and she/he refused to talk to me or address the problems. They didn't want to hear about it, and instructed her to charge my card and have a good day! There are 3 other hotels in the area off the interstate, I would highly suggest to stay far away from this one! read more
