We are looking forward to our stay before the flight home again... the pool, the restaurant, the front desk, it feels like home. ;-)

Beautifully maintained, luxurious, and immaculate in every detail. One of the things we loved most was how everything you could possibly need is right on-site. From a convenient market and Starbucks for your morning coffee to Javier's for an incredible dining experience, every amenity made our stay even more enjoyable. The resort offers multiple pools, including family-friendly pools and adults-only pools, so there's something for everyone. The hot tubs were actually hot (which is surprisingly rare!) and perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. Beach access was convenient, and the cabanas provided the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the beautiful ocean views. Oh and they have daily Happy Hour specials! We spent a week here celebrating my husband's birthday, and every day felt like a true vacation. The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxing, and the entire experience was unforgettable. We made amazing memories, met wonderful people, had an absolute blast, and are already looking forward to coming back. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious, fun, and stress-free getaway!

The shower has excellent water pressure, and the in-room fridge is consistently stocked with a wide variety of beverages, which is a nice touch. That said, the hotel is quite isolated in Cabo. If you're planning to explore the city, be prepared for a roughly 45-minute drive each way, which can get expensive. Staff: The staff are a major highlight. Everyone is extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This level of hospitality seems consistent throughout Cabo in general. Food & Drinks: Unfortunately, this is where the experience falls apart. The food is very low quality, arguably some of the worst I've had at a resort. Even the "upscale" restaurants serve dishes that are underwhelming to the point of being inedible. The drinks are average at best, with mid- to low-tier alcohol selections. Entertainment: The resort is very quiet and lacks energy. There's minimal entertainment, and what is offered is below average. The shows aren't particularly engaging, and the "Desire" club is disappointing even on a weekend night. If your goal is simply to relax by the pool and do nothing, this could be a good fit. Otherwise, it may feel boring. Final Thoughts: Overall, the hotel is just okay. This experience reinforced my impression that many all-inclusive resorts follow the same formula, charging a premium for what ultimately feels like low-value extras and mediocre quality. This will likely be my last all-inclusive stay.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort absolutely delivers the full luxury experience -- from the moment you arrive, everything feels effortless, elevated, and honestly a little addictive. The entertainment is stellar -- live music, performances, and nightly events that actually feel fun (not forced). There's always something happening, whether you want a lively vibe or a relaxed evening with a cocktail watching the sunset. Speaking of cocktails... the fresh fruit drinks are next-level. Think real ingredients, not syrup overload. Every margarita, mojito, and tropical creation tastes like it was made by someone who actually cares about flavor. The all-inclusive experience truly means all-inclusive -- incredible dining options, premium drinks, beautiful pools, attentive service, and zero stress about constantly reaching for your wallet. Just show up and enjoy. And the setting? Absolutely stunning beaches with golden sand, dramatic coastline views, and that perfect Cabo glow. Pair that with a swim-up room, and suddenly leaving your suite becomes optional. Coffee in the morning from your terrace straight into the pool? Elite vacation behavior. Perfect for couples, celebrations, or anyone wanting a luxury getaway that actually lives up to the hype. 10/10 would book again without hesitation.

But we will DEFINITLY be back! We stay at the club solaz side, I'm not sure if that makes a difference. We stay in a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, kitchen living room, and balcony. It's great for families, or if you come with couples. The kitchen is great to make lunches, or breakfast, but not for dinners as it doesn't have an actual stove so we couldn't make our kids pizzas even tho it said there was an oven in the unit. The washer, dryer are awesome to have! Highly recommend stopping by a grocery store after you land, and grab a few groceries, and drinks to have available. If you are looking for a party, fist pumping pool music, etc then this is not the resort for you. We love it here because it is relaxing, & quiet, just what we need and want when we are on vacation. The pools are beautiful! Spa is nice. And the gym is small but amazing! Some packages or rooms provide free breakfast buffet, which is perfect for us, saves alot of money AND the food is delicious! Service is great, we love the golf carts on days or times when it's hot and we're tired and don't feel like walking, they will zip you around! They also provide free valet parking which is great because we always rent a car so we can go to dinner or take off on adventures. They have a kids club which our son absolutely loves. They do crafts, and game time and lunch for the kids. Our 4 year old wakes up begging to go to kids club so we have to wait for it to open. Gives parents a nice break and the kids have fun! We have sat through the timeshare presentation, just for the perks. It can take awhile so don't sign up for the presentation unless you either really want the perks, or you have a lot of time. Make sure you always double check your bill at checkout, everytime we have gone there are extra fees that should not be on there so that's bothersome. This time at checkout they were charging us for the room we had already prepaid, so ALWAYS make sure to check the final bill at checkout. We love it and will be back!

The property was beautiful and the room was amazing, but getting around required either a golf cart shuttle or walking the high/low slopes of the property in the hot sun. Golf cart shuttles were consistently late even when prearranged so give yourself 5-10 mins extra. Another downfall was that there was nothing around - the closest fun place was Flora Farms, bit if you don't have a car you'll have to take a taxi, Uber, or hotel shuttle (which is not complimentary) and Cabo san Lucas is 45mins away. Kind of a hassle - vacations should be fun & easy. Staff were inconsistent - some good... some not so much. This is my 3rd Ritz Reserve hotel experience and this one did not measure up to the one in Thailand or Bali - those two were absolutely superb and unforgettable experiences. Would I go back? No, not worth it.

Upon entering, the alluring decor and enticing aromatics definitely hypnotize. Everything here is magical. The lush gardens are filled with a variety of bright, organic vegetables that literally personalizes the concept of farm to table. Everything you need to prepare a delicious meal is a step outside your back door. The spacious cottages are nestled within the farm itself creating the perfect Garden of Eden at your fingertips. Our lovely friends who own a cottage extended an invitation to my family and I sharing their home away from home. A true blessing to experience and taste a piece of paradise. The custom built cottages were spared no expense. Everything is of the highest quality and durability not to mention unique design and details. High ceilings, a butcher's block kitchen, luxury linens in each room and every necessity imaginable from the kitchen to the laundry facility is available. The large appliances are made so that there is but a whisper of sound indicating it's on. All the rooms have their own cooling system adjustable to each occupants desire. The complimentary shampoo/conditioner and soaps are all organic, locally hand made and pure as you can get. Cleaning and maintenance service is provided just as if you were in a fancy hotel wrapped in a cozy robe. Culinary Cottages is definitely well thought out and apparently some heart and soul went into its foundation. There are numerous boutiques on the grounds for shopping as well as an amazing coffee house/winery to boast. The famous Flora's Field Kitchen and delightful farmer's market is situated here only adjacent to the private dining area exclusively for property owners. Fried chicken Tuesday is a local inside tip that many look forward to and outsiders flock to indulge. Honestly, everything on the gourmet menu is of five star caliber and the ambiance just brings it all together. If you get the chance to stay at the cottages, do it! It is an experience you will never forget and will always be a part of you. Taking a tour and maybe considering ownership is the bigger option if you dare... you may never want to leave. It is poetry in motion depicted in novels and a dreamland captured in the backdrop of your photos.
