We were staying at the Fairmont Waterfront, so getting picked up right at Canada Place made it super convenient. I just showed the tour guide my Viator booking and we were good to go. Paid about $114 on Viator for 2 adults, my 5 year old was half off, and my 2 year old was free, so I thought that was pretty fair for a family outing. The full loop is about 1 hour 50 minutes if you stay on for the whole tour, and there are around 21 stops, so it's a good way to see a lot of Vancouver without having to figure out transportation yourself. The guide on board was really funny and kept it entertaining the whole time. I forgot his name, but he definitely made the ride better. The driver was also very friendly, I believe her name was Maria. Trolleys come about every 30 minutes and there were 4 running when we went. They also give you a website to track where the trolley is at, which was actually really useful when planning where to hop back on. We used it to stop at Granville Island and it made getting around pretty easy. Overall, I thought this was a good tour for a last minute Vancouver plan. Easy pickup, funny guide, friendly driver, and convenient hop-on hop-off option if you want to see a lot of the city without driving around yourself.

Pickup was on Cordova Street, a short walk from Canada Place where we just finished looking over the four cruise ships in port. We had a friendly and knowledgeable tour director and driver (didn't get his name but he was a middle aged local Chinese man) who kept us entertained the entire tour. We started at the west end of Vancouver, highlighting the expanded Westin Bayshore Hotel and the yachts docked on the waterfront, leading to Stanley Park, which is a world in itself. The beauty and abundance of flora and fauna, totem poles, the sea wall where folks bike and walk and get away from the world. From Stanley Park we drove back through the West End via Denman Street to English Bay, then up Robson and Davie Streets. Once we hit the Burrard Street Bridge we went through the Museum District, then on West 4th in Kits to Granville Island where we hopped off. We thanked our driver and tipped him (darn, I didn't take a photo or get his name) and made our way through Granville Island to find food.

Our second driver, Gurkirat, was amazing as well. Due to Air Canada's ridiculously long delay in sending three flights' of luggages onto the same carousel, we were delayed by a full hour while our driver was already standing by. Gurkirat was so helpful in grabbing all our numerous heavy suitcases off the carousel and then later on, helped rectify an unexpected situation. We can't express how fortunate we all were to have these two lovely men ending up being our drivers and made our our limo experiences one of the best ever! KUDOS to both!!

I had a large party and an infant so I wanted to make sure everything was smooth because there was already enough stress traveling with 5 Adults and a baby. The first red flag was when I called to ask questions about the rates and service (I wanted a van and a carseat for the infant) but was told to email them instead. So I did and from then on, all corespondance was via email. They told me they didn't have a van but will send a limo instead. OK, fine. I asked about the carseat, they said it will be taken cared of. I paid for a meet and greet service at the airport and a pick up at the cruise ship terminal. I gave them our flight info and a credir card. Everything seemed set. Our flight was secheduled to arrive 11:20 AM, we got out of the gate at 11:45 (after getting our bag and going through customs) and looked around - no sign with our name on it. So we looked aroound for about 10 minutes. I finally turned on my phone and paid the internation rate to call the company to ask where the driver was. They gave me the driver's number so I can call him directly. Turns out the guy was at a gas station getting gas!! What??? Ok, fine. He said he was on his way and to meet him outside, hung up. I dragged everyone outside, and it hit me, where the heck am I supposed to meet him? The curbside pick up at this airport is not clearly marked. So I left the group to wander the streets and out of sheer luck I screamed out to a limo driver if he was our driver and he was. I asked him where does he want to pick us up and he pointed to a curb. So I got everyone to the car he we started loading. All of the bags fit in the trunk so he asked us to shove some into the limo with us. Ok... fine. There was also no car seat. I called the dispatch to asked about the car seat and the refund for the meet and greet since we didn't get a meet and greet. I was told that the meet and greet would not get refunded to me because it's the cost they pay to the airport for the pick up and not just for the driver to hold the sign and the baby did not need a car seat because it's a limo which is considered as a shuttle bus. Since it was a short drive and I didn't want to start off my vacation pissed off, I again rolled with it. As we were about to pull out the curbside security came and talked to the driver. The driver was told to pull into a stall across the street. We were told to wait in the car. At this point everyone was starving, we left our airport at 6 AM and haven't eaten anything since! 30 minutes later we found out the driver got a ticket for parking illegally! Close to 1 PM we were finally on our way. The rest of the ride was uneventful and the driver was nice so I thought everything was behind us. To avoid another headache, I asked the driver where we will get picked up after out cruise, he said just asked the terminal workers, they will be able to point us to where the limos are parked. Seems simple enough. Flash forward to our return. We disembarked out ship and headed to the limo pick up. The attendance was nice and explained to us that all the limos are held in a lot and as we come out he will call the lot to let our limo out. He took out names and called the lot. Again our limo was not there! Everyone in the party at this point was so fed up with this limo company and I was the person responsible since I booked it. Again, had to turn on my cell, pay another international call to get the driver's number. Found out that they wanted to pick us up in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel, which was not a far walk but when you have 7 suitcase and a baby, this is a long trek! Especially when you are seeing other limo companies pick up passengers right from the terminal! All in all, two stars because the people that helped us were all very nice, except our first driver Ron who got the ticket and gave us the wrong pick up info, but the pick up service/logistic is sub-par. Next time I'm going to use aero car. They have a booth right outside of the door at YVR and we saw them drop off and picked up tons of people on our cruise without any hassle.

What I liked best about them other than their top of the line customer service was their pricing model. I loved that I could simply book one way trips to and from the venue for the wedding party and I didn't have to book a minimum time block of two hours or more like some other companies. The drivers were friendly, helpful and willing to indulge us with our somewhat silly requests. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

Not only were the drivers perfectly on time (ie 5 minutes early) but when we ended up being over an hour late leaving, the drivers were both super accommodating and friendly, the cars were very clean and comfortable, and (very smartly well stocked with water). I feel bad for the driver of the boys vehicle, KB who had to put up with a bit of drunken groomsmen shenanigans including harmonicas, but he tolerated it like a champ! I want to give a special shout out to the driver of the girls vehicle - Tomi. He was so courteous and willing to do whatever he could to help make out experience as calm as possible - including pulling up further to make sure I didn't have to walk as far in my wedding dress! He also picked me and my new husband up at the end of our night to drive us back home - and again he was super patient with us and even went out of his way to make sure he was driving us as close to our front door as possible. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience from start to finish. We have been using Excel for transport within Vancouver and to/from Whistler for about a decade…read more We've used it for our individual family and a group as large as 24 in a private minibus. The booking process is easy, the manager Howie is responsive and easy to work with. The drivers are always on time and courteous. On our most recent trip, there was a terrible accident on highway 99 which delayed us 7 hrs! We had multiple families traveling on together in a large van, half children under the age of 8. The kids were going stir crazy and so were the parents. The person that was not frazzled at all was our driver Johan. He was with us the whole way, taking us to dinner in Squamish, driving us around town looking for a place to entertain the kids and wait for the roads to reopen. We ended up having to hang out at a Walmart for several hours. By the time we got to Whistler was about midnight, on a 5p planned arrival. Johan never stopped being courteous, kind, and friendly. I can't imagine how tired and frustrating the ordeal must have been for him, yet he never let it showed and it made the journey so much more pleasant despite the circumstances. We've never had a bad experience with Excel.
