Ricky was excellent from the moment I called him inquiring about a limo service to the end of the trip! The limo was clean and it was clear the company took social distancing measures and overall COVID-19 Safety very seriously which was a huge plus. They gave us the SUV limo price for the stretch limo price to ensure social distancing was possible which was very impressive. The interior of the limo was impeccable and extremely clean. Great sound system as well to listen to some good music via Bluetooth during the ride. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! I reserved them 2 months in advance for a pick up at the cruise terminal. I planned a 6 hour Vancouver day with the company. I had an email confirmation stating the same. I then confirmed this reservation 1 week before (when my cruise was leaving) and was told we were all good! Once we arrived at the cruise terminal Vanlimo was no where to be found. When I called Vanlimo they informed me they completely forgot to pick us up and they had no drivers to do so at that time. they asked us to wait a little and see if they can get a driver. After 1 1/2 hours they still had no driver. After a 3 hour wait we finally were able to rent a car for almost $600 for 8 hours of usage. The manager/owner/Ricky asked me to send him the rental car bill and he was going to see what he could do. I sent him the bill and never heard back from him. After 2 weeks, I reached out to Ricky and he informed me there is nothing he could do and that "accidents happen". read more

I recently booked with VanLimo for our wedding as they had very good pricing and the ability to split our journey into separate bookings. The experience wasn't all perfect though and there were a few hickups which left a sour taste in my mouth. Pros - Very good service over the phone and very prompt book. Forward with their pricing. - SUV limo was large and very clean - Limo showed up promtly for each booking - Staff was nice save for their commentaries about us running 10 mins late each way. Cons - Took a while to get an invoice for an estimate - Driver got lost looking for an additional second destination which was in the range of our destination and time frame. No apology given. - **Never given an invoice for our final bill. This is my biggest pet peeve as I understand the company reserves the right to charge time plus overtime if required but when we were charged for more time, there was NEVER an invoice given as to why we were charged our final amount. Bad form. Overall, we were slightly behind so we got a bit of bad service. Seems as though, if we were on time, there would be no complaints. Would I recommend? Sure but I'd let them know the experience was A-OK and not stellar as others have rated. Edit: After a recent phone conversation, I've been asked to change my rating. We rented a limo for an hour and wanted to go around Stanley park on our way to our destination. The driver said that we would have to pay for an extra hour. We ended up waiting for 20 minutes at a parking lot because we were early. The glasses in the limo were dirty, and they clearly hadn't cleaned the car from whoever used it last. There were used napkins laying around. We didn't get to play our music and the driver was not very friendly. Overall pretty bad. read more

Last week while on an Alaskan Cruise out of Vancouver BC . My wife & another couple who we were traveling with from California, Decided to spend A few hour in Vancouver on our,Return. on the final day of the return trip back to Vancouver, I decided to use the on board Computer to search the web and contact a Limo/Car service to pick us up at the terminal, Since my cell phone Was able to make shore calls, after calling a couple of other. limo services, who Didn't bother to pick the phone or call back or they wanted $ 700.00 for 4 hour Sight seeing and shuttle to the airport. My next Call was to Vanlimo Service, what a blessing to hear a friendly and caring Voice on the other in of the line. Mind you this was at about 6pm Vancouver time on a Monday nite, much to my surprise I was talking to Ricky who offer Much better rates than those quote at the other companies. After a nice chat With Ricky I agreed to calling him back after discussing the offer with my travel companions . Much to my surprise my phone service was out of range By that time, I was able to again get phone service at about 6:30 Am the next Morning which us within 2 hour from port, I make the call to Ricky's personal cell #. again that warm and friendly voice on the phone at such a early time. Needless to say we ash if he was still available and could he pick us up at 9:30 am. That morning. The service exceeded my expectations. I organized this transportation to Whistler RT and they showed up about 10-15 min early each way. Ricky was also very accommodating and EASY to reach via telephone. The limo was clean and so much more efficient than riding the bus. The limo I had was 10 people stretch SUV and the interior was really good. The price is decent and and the limo was on time!

I reserved a stretch limo to take 7 people and luggage from the cruise ship terminal to the airport. A price was set at $175.00. We were met with the limo, that arrived early, but took 15 minutes to get to us when we called. It did not have a back opening like most limo and luggage had to be put in through the passenger door which we did most of the loading. Upon arriving at the airport, the driver requested $30.00 more because he came early and not at the requested time, even though we had to wait for him. We paid and I contacted the office by e-mail and phone. I was told that was wrong and I would receive a check for $30.00. I contacted them several times with no response. The next time we went to Vancouver, we took a van cab. It was cheaper, faster and efficient. Do not use this company! read more

We hired Vanlimo for our wedding and I have to say, considering how busy our day was...they were ON TIME and knew exactly where to go. We hired them initially for 8 hours as the basic package and Rick our driver.was fantasitc. Professional and helpful. We decided that we needed them back at the end of the night to drive us and friends home...plus a lot of wedding decor. So disappointed in this service! I booked with them after reading the reviews on here, but unfortunately we did not have the same experience. I booked for a transfer to my wedding and there were problems right from the start. The driver was rude and barely spoke to us. He drove off before we were ready and my mother wasn't seated yet. She is arthritic and was having trouble getting seated and repeatedly asked the driver to wait, but he didn't. I think he didn't hear her, probably because he was on the phone the entire time. Also, likely because he still on the phone, he also was very abrupt with us when we were trying to discuss with him which entrance to drop us off at. When we arrived at the venue early, we didn't want to get out yet because obviously we couldn't start early, and he informed us that we had "5-10 minutes max" to stay in the limo before he had to leave. The trip only took 20 minutes, so although I only booked for a transfer, because the invoice said we were paying for an hour (and we paid the full amount), I was under the impression that we shouldn't be rushed out of the limo because he had another pickup. I wonder what he would have done if the traffic was bad and it had actually taken the full hour. If you are looking to add to your special occasion, I would avoid this company. read more
