I was glad to see another donut place open up down on Louisville. Bestz Donut is run by a friendly Cambodian family. They have a convenient drive-thru and seating for dine-in, which is often limited in these establishments. Their hours allow you to get your donut fix early in the AM and in the late afternoon. They have a variety of breakfast options to choose from along with the typical donut selections: kolaches (sausage, jalapeño & even boudin), biscuits, croissants, and burritos. From what I tried, the glazed donuts and sausage kolaches were almost comparable to the other rival in town. I'll have to come back to try out the other menu items. Stop by and try out this new local business!

I was looking for a breakfast place, and found this gem. A large kolache, a large coffee, 2 sour cream donuts, and a blueberry for $6.50. Hot, fresh, and tasty. Must go in this area

One thing I love about living in Monroe is their is a donut shop basically on every intersection. Guess it is one of the perks of Northwest Louisiana. However, these are some of the Bestz donuts in town. Recommend coming here if you are ever in town.

Most definitely worth the detour while traveling. When you get on the road pretty early amazing doughnuts makes it much better. Found this location via a google search and then checked it out on Yelp and the decision was an easy one from that point. So many delicious options made it a little hard to decide. We ordered a bacon, egg and cheese croissant, sausage egg and cheese burrito, two blueberry cake doughnuts and an Apple fritter. Whew ok so we ate the burrito and croissant before getting to take a picture however they were delicious and hit the spot. Now this blueberry cake doughnut wassasss AMAZING!!!!! It wasn't too sweet to enjoy, was very soft, and had this buttery flavor that made it the best in my book. The Apple fritter paired well with my hot coffee and it had the perfect amount of cinnamon. Donuts were good, customers loved them! I loved the donut holes. Appreciated the fact that they were fresh. The breakfast sandwich didn't do it for me. Just a weird taste and I don't like that they're premade sitting in the window. For as hot as it is, you should consider iced coffee. read more

So at 1:00PM I saw an ad that had donuts in it, and instantly wanted one. I went to Yelp, thinking there was no way I would find a donut shop that was still open. I'm used to going to Haskel's when I want a donut, but they open early and close before noon (I think). When I found Bestz Donuts closed at 5:00PM I knew I would be going there soon. I ate that blueberry cake donut so fast. It was AMAZING. I also got a boudin kolache, it was really good too! I've been back again since then, this time I got a half dozen of the blueberry cake donuts so that I could share, and everyone loved them!! I think that donut is the star of Bestz Donuts! Everything I go was delicious. I live in West Monroe, but next time I want donuts I will do a little extra driving to ensure that I have the BESTZ Donuts! read more

Best kolache I've ate in a while. The bread taste like Grandys rolls. The kolaches tasted like they were homemade they were amazing!! The donuts just as good & they were hott It was all so delicious & they lady is super sweet! Everything was ready in no time!! My daughter gives the strawberry filled donut 4 stars and the apple fritter 5 stars. The Boudin Kolache was really good and the donut holes are really fluffy. We will be coming back. read more

I visited this place for the first time yesterday morning and the donuts and kolaches were very good. So good that I decided to go back today and get a dozen of the glazed and more kolaches. The owner was soooo sweet. She even gave me one extra kolache. The drive through location on Forsythe is very convenient. I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to anyone! read more

Amazing customer service! I have been there several times and have always received exceptional service. Everyone there is so nice and the one time they didn't have the doughnut we wanted they gave me my second choice plus a free bag of donut holes. In addition the doughnuts are fabulous and fresh! Highly recommend the old fishion doughnut! Made fresh everyday! read more

Shipley Do-nut used to be THE definitive place to go for donuts in the Monroe/West Monroe area. Well, now they're gone and it seems like a slew of donut business have popped up in their place. And while I was sad to see them go, I've gotta say that Bestz Donuts is the best contender so far for that crown Shipley wore for decades. The staff is always nice and the donuts, bear claws, sausage egg and cheese burritos, ham egg & cheese croissants, and eclairs are very good. Need to get your donut fix? My family loves to visit Bestz Donuts every Sunday morning. The sweet family who owns the business always remembers us, and notices if we miss a week. They are kind to our young boys and usually give us an extra donut hole or 6 for the baby:) We love the Apple fritters, blueberry cake donut, sour cream and good ole glazed. The convenient location and the quality of donuts is outstanding! Dane and Nat are engaged in the community. They sent 20 dozen donuts with a crew to Baton Rouge to distribute to the flood victims. In town doing road work and decided to stop in after work to get some hot and ready donuts and for being from Florida I have to admit these donuts were the best tasting and freshest donuts I have ever had. I would definitely recommend if you are a fan of Krispy Kreme try these donuts they blow KK out of the water. read more
