Brisket pho. $13.95. Came out cool not hot. Tasted good but I like my pho coming out hot.

Brand new so expect waiting time. Food was good but my bread needs to be a little bit more crunchy and hot. And my pho needs to be hot when it comes out. It was cool by the time we got it. Maybe too busy. We will give it another try later on and see.

Absolute cinema. Amazin. Could be sweeter but. Amazin. Loved it.

Its delicious. Go here. Its amazing. Its clean. Amazing environment. Service was outstanding.

They definitely did a great job with the decorations! When we looked at the menu, I noticed everything was really affordable--from the appetizers to the entrees and drinks. Our server was super sweet and attentive. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. I got myself some hot tea since I was sick. It was just a tea bag, but it was actually pretty good. I also noticed their sauce bottles and seasoning containers were really clean, which I always appreciate. This is what we got: * A8. Ika Maru Yaki: A whole grilled squid drizzled with their house sauce and marinade. I absolutely loved this one. $10 for a whole grilled squid is such a good deal! At festivals, you usually pay around $15 for half of one, and honestly, they don't even taste that good. Naruto did an amazing job with this dish. I just wish it had a little more char, but that's just my personal preference. * A12. Geso Fry: Crispy and delicious. I really liked the chili powder (I think) they sprinkled on top. * R11. Udon: This came with lots of vegetables, which I love, plus a poached egg, squid, shrimp, naruto, and two shrimp tempura. The poached egg was a little overcooked, but it wasn't a big deal. The broth was so good--it had sweetness from the vegetables and a nice seafood umami flavor. Definitely recommend trying this one. * D9. Gyu-don: My husband was excited to order this since it's one of his favorite dishes. The egg was cooked well, but he personally prefers a runnier yolk. Overall, it was still a decent bowl. Overall, we had a great experience. Especially for a small town like Monroe with a relatively small Asian community, I think it's amazing they're able to open a place like this and introduce more people to Asian cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

While the establishment features a lovely setup for dining al fresco, I chose to step inside. The interior layout reveals a bustling open kitchen and a rather impressive collection of fine wines. Now, I must be entirely candid the venue possesses a distinct vintage quality and could certainly benefit from a few modern renovations to bring it up to its full potential. However, what it might lack in contemporary polish, it more than makes up for in character and hospitality. I settled in comfortably at the pristine counter, where the atmosphere was delightfully warm and inviting. To commence the luncheon, I ordered a Strawberry Margarita from the menu, which was a thoroughly refreshing choice. For my main selection, I opted for the Passion Roll. It was executed beautifully, bursting with fresh flavors, and proved to be an entirely satisfying midday meal that carried me through the rest of the afternoon. Though the space itself is a bit historic, the culinary effort and genuine warmth of the staff make it a thoroughly pleasant stop. It is a lovely neighborhood fixture, and I look forward to seeing them continue to shine. Highly recommended

Had to go back out and find an employee, the people on the patio said they thought she was the only one working. Had a $14 Bloody Mary that should have been more like $6, just mix and vodka and a couple of olives. Didn't taste bad but pretty basic for $14. Had another down the street for $10 that was so much better. Plus, the server seemed like she would prefer we weren't there. Won't be back for sure.

Just the way I like it. The amount of fries they give you seems to have tapered off a bit, but for the price, I can't complain. The tea is great and the employees are always so friendly and helpful. Plus, it always has that new house scent when you walk in, as if they just finished constructing the building the day before. Also, I've yet to see another restaurant as consistently clean as Slim Chickens is. I only have one complaint. When you go there while the sun is going down, there is a two to three hour period where it's impossible to sit on the entrance side, without being blinded by the sunlight. Their walls are giant windows and there's absolutely nothing blocking the sun on that side of the building and no blinds or tinted windows. I wrote the company yesterday and addressed this situation. Less than 24 hours later, I received a reply from the Vice-President of Operations, stating: "I appreciate you being a loyal guest of Slim Chickens! I wanted to drop you a note and tell you I appreciate the feedback and I am currently working on a solution for the windows. Thank you for your feedback and again, for being loyal guest!" As if this company's customer service couldn't get any better! They really are amazing. So all of you who eat there and have to avoid the entrance side like a bunch of vampires after 4:00 PM, help is on the way. I only wish I could give Slim Chickens more stars.
