This was for emergency service because the outside underground pipe burst. It was not at night or the weekend. It ended up being a 2 1/2 hour job (whereby they were gone for a good 45 minutes getting the part). I didn't know what the charge is for this and he told my sister-in-law before he started it could by up to X amount. Well X amount is what he charged. When I had to tell my brother, who is a contractor in Maryland, he basically had a heart attack. He said he has never, ever had a contractor come for emergency service and charge that amount. They didn't even need to rent any machinery. They dug 2 feet down, fixed the pipe and left. I am still so upset with myself that I believed his price. I will never, ever hire this guy again. All I have to say is karma does come around. If you are going to rip people off, it will come back to you. We just had the bathroom remodeled and you could have made more than double what you charged us for this job. We're also getting a new water heater. Ocean View Plumbing & Heating is getting the job because they don't rip people off.

The kid did a fantastic job but we were charged $2800 for a $17-1800 dollar job. Called in to ask why it was that price when 2 other places we called both said the same price, $1000+ cheaper. Took the manager I guess he was 2 weeks to get back up with us and he said he had to do research on how competitive the pricing was and kept trying to explain there quality of parts and service warranted the cost. Well my wife wouldn't accept it and they finally refunded us $250. So we cancelled the contract and just had another plumbing issue and used Drain Chasers Plumbing in Georgetown and he was fantastic. Super nice, and a private owned business. Sean from Drain Chasers was who we had just come out and gave me his personal cell phone number for if any other issues arise.

I was a long-term customer of this plumbing company for about a year and a half and paid for their…read moremonthly VIP membership program for priority service and discounts. During that time, the same technician frequently performed work at my home. I later found myself being attacked online by the wife of that technician, who referenced personal information about me and my home that had only been shared while he was working inside my house. Learning that information discussed during service visits had apparently made its way outside of a professional setting raised serious concerns about customer privacy. What was even more troubling was the company's response when I contacted them about it. I reached out because I was upset and believed the situation warranted attention and accountability. Instead of looking into the concern or attempting to address it, the company immediately cancelled my membership and dropped me as a customer. After being a paying member and loyal customer for well over a year, it was extremely disappointing to see the company choose to remove the customer rather than address a legitimate privacy concern. That experience left me questioning whether customer trust and accountability are truly priorities when problems arise.

Boy, what a plumber, (Nathan Parker-owner)! I needed more water pressure on my newly installed…read moreshower renovation! The previous contractor obviously didn't know what he was doing? Nathan was scheduled to come by about 5 days later, but called with a cancellation and I jumped at the chance! He told me the solution to increasing the water pressure to my shower heads was to return a unit that my other contractor told me to order from Amazon! Nathan simply took off the shield on the wall at the shower and did some adjusting of the lines properly and both of the shower heads (once turned on) were providing a very strong water flow. He also noticed that the one-piece new handicapped toilet seat was not installed properly either! He fixed them and then put on the interior cover (on the lower side) which couldn't be figured out by the original contractor! Also my refrigerator water lines weren't making ice or providing water at the door. I think the previous contractor turned up the cold register (I know I hadn't), causing the water filter to "ice up" inside the filter so that it wouldn't allow the water to flow! Nathan decided to take the filter out and set it in hot water in the sink, and within several attempts and some time, the water filter was working properly and both my ice maker and water hose were working for a properly cold glass of water directly from the refrigerator door! Also, I had another contractor coming after Nathan was there, but Nathan had figured out the simple problem with that particular unit and got it running in minutes! Boy, what a joy! This man showed that he knew exactly what to do in short order and was willing to help if he could! NEVER have I been so impressed with that kind of friendly service EVER! Thanks, Nathan! (9/28/25)
