Americans churches continue to teach about what people can swallow but not what will transform you by giving conviction and stir up emotion to be better. The Bible isn't just a message of feeling good. That would defeat the purpose of Jesus dying on the cross. Churches need to focus on saving souls. And people need to get that church is supposed to make you change not leave the same. Jesus caused issues where he went because he was telling people how they were living was not good. That flesh was deceiving. That's why he was controversial. I'd also like to point out that I went there looking for clothes (some still with tags never worn) to give away for kids. I don't like giving to goodwill or once upon a child. They always take the not so nice things and keep the things I guess they can charge low prices for, idk the real reason but it's ridiculous. And honestly I'm tired of them picking what they think is cute and I'm going home with clothes someone would truly need or another child could truly enjoy. Anyway I go to grace asking bout if they accept or take clothing for people who may need it. They sent me to the same places I already don't like. And here's my issue. As a church why do you have a coffee place but you don't have a place for food or a place for clothes. A church is supposed to be a place for refuge and help...FREE HELP. Not just for tithes. All I'm saying is do better. You save a life by helping people not turning them away. If you accept my money then accept necessities. Or have something attached to you for helping people. I'm tired of tip toeing around corruption and being a follower of Christ that is warm and not speaking up because people don't like it. Get a place to help people. No church is of Christ without works. Where is your place where you are helping people. NOT SENDING SOMEONE ON A CHASE TO GET HELP.

Pastor Mike: He's so funny and doesn't have a holier-than-thou complex some pastors seem to have. He teaches things that people really need to hear, regardless of wether they want to or not. The Band: They're fantastic! Sam, Sanè, DZ and one drummer who's name we don't know... (stands during I Will Live and we love it!)(If anyone knows his name, that'd be great!) The Coffee: Great prices, great drinks! The staff are so patient and kind! They go through the line like Chick-fil-A: quick and kind. If you need a church that loves you no matter where you are, you're in luck! That's literally the motto! We were invited to attend a service at NowChurch NC and fell in love with the people, the atmosphere, the worship and most importantly the word! Senior Pastor Nate Davis is a man truely after Gods heart. He a people person who has no problem getting to know the people of God. He's such a modest, humble man with a pure heart of love for God's people. We are so glad we found NowChurch! The church has services at the Carrboro Century Center. Services start prompt at 9:30am so don't be late. This past week the clock hit 9:30am and praise and worship kicked off right on time. Again, be sure to arrive early so you won't miss worship! NowChurch offers a kids church where you can bring your little ones as well. They also have a slamming music department! We arrived right as the service started, and there weren't enough seats for our whole group. Young men from the church brought chairs and set up and entire new row just for us! My daughter was nervous, and two teen girls introduced themselves and showed her around with no prompting from adults. It made such an impression on her. It also shows that the young people are seeing that kind of inclusiveness modeled in the adults and staff at the church. Thank you for a lovely worship time. I had simple questions i wanted to ask, but it became seemingly like too much trouble for them to be bothered with. Ive also been blessed to learn that sunday is not the Sabbath, so attending church on sunday would in no way honor Gods command to "Remember the Sabbath, to keep it Holy". Contrary to what they would have you believe, sunday is not the Lords day.
