We literally did not know what to do or which way to go next and the caring, loving comfort Tracie brought to us we can never repay. As we left the meeting with Tracie, she held my wife's hand and assured her "we're all mothers here and Abigail will be taken care of as our own". That moment of tenderness and love will stick with us forever, as it calmed our aching souls. No one ever wants to be in a situation where you need their services, but if you are I cannot recommend them more.

Berkshire Chapel, which is next door to the funeral home, is very well kept, spacious, and provides live streaming services for loved ones who are unable to attend. The entire staff did an excellent job during the viewing services, working and coordinating with our Pastor on the day of the funeral, and ensuring that both days went smoothly. The staff was also immensely kind and generous in dropping off our flowers to our home following the funeral services. We love Jennifer and the entire Turrentine Jackson Morrow (Frisco) team, and recommend them to any family that is looking for a trusted and reputable funeral home.

My dad and his family grew up all around before land around it sold by the square foot. It was farm land. My grandfather worked the land and helped his neighbors work their land when he came back from WWI. 70 years ago, my grandfather helped recover and move graves of many buried in ground that would be flooded by new lake (all but one lake in Texas are man-made). Now my grandfather's grave is one of many in this small-ish cemetery. Compared to the larger ones, this is somewhat rough for those infirm, unstable and not able to traverse the uneven ground, large, coarse gravel road It was a beautiful sunny day for our trip here during the cruel year known as 2020. Today's politics and attitudes would would be abhorred by those buried here. The ones I knew had strong beliefs and values besides strong and well worn hands. They help feed and clothe many North Texans for all of their lives. Most here knew the last horrific pandemic that swept through this region, often called the Spanish Flu. Many buried here help bury those taken by that horrific virus that wiped out towns and homesteads in North Texas. Today, we were burying one taken by the current pandemic, my Uncle. He was a popular and respected man who had told me stories about this area. Most were of humorous high jinx he participated in with my dad. Recalling those stories and the places he suggested I hunt and fish brought back smiles and chuckles. Stories of my farm tough grandmother sewing up wounds with reused thread that my uncle had somewhat caused or instigated. This funeral was sad not only for the loss of my uncle, but also because the COVID protocols robbed the graveside services of civility, compassion and empathy. Masks, lack of touch and social distance isolated all. It was great to come visit the graves, energy and memories. I need to come back and visit all again to feel it correctly.

My review is mixed. First, I want to give credit where it is due. The staff did an excellent job…read morepreparing my nephew, Chrone Reagan. His makeup, clothing, and overall appearance were handled with great care and dignity. The obituary was also beautifully designed and put together. The individuals responsible for those details deserve recognition. Unfortunately, our experience with the actual service and transportation was disappointing. The service was scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., but the family did not arrive at the church until approximately 10:15, and the service did not begin until around 10:30. This delay created a domino effect that may not have been noticeable to the other attendees, but it significantly affected the immediate family. The limousine did not appear to have been cleaned that morning. The windows were dirty and covered with fingerprints. Also the tags appeared to be from 2024. The Sprinter transporting ny nephew's children and grandparents had problems with the air conditioning. With temperatures reaching approximately 105 degrees, none of the vehicles were stocked with water or any refreshments to help keep everyone comfortable. The drivers had to speed leaving the home in Desoto to get to the church in Seagoville to make up for lost time. After a wonderful celebration of life service, the processional left for burial at Lincoln cemetery thinking it would be no more than a 5-10 minute drive. Well there was confusion involving other funeral services and limited space. As a result, we had to drive around and wait another 20 minutes with hearse before we could proceed to the burial site. This was very upsetting and disruptive during an already painful time. I was also disappointed by the condition of the funeral home each time I went there. The torn pleather seating, worn carpet, dated furnishings, and overall cleanliness did not reflect the dignified and comforting environment grieving families deserve. The staff's presentation and organization could also have been more professional and coordinated. Again, I sincerely appreciate the care given to my nephew's appearance and the beautiful obituary. However, the funeral home needs to improve its punctuality, communication, staffing, transportation, vehicle cleanliness, temperature control, and facility upkeep. The family supported my sister when she decided to make a full complaint. There was a particle reimbursement but was told she would need to file a complaint with the state to review for any additional reimbursement. Families are trusting them during one of the most difficult moments of their lives, and the entire experience should reflect care, dignity, organization, and respect.

This statement concerns the funeral of my son, Kevin Chrone Dewell Reagan, held on Saturday, August…read more22, 2026. Although the service was scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. in Seagoville, Texas, the staff of Eternal Rest Funeral Home did not pick up me or my family from my home until 9:40 a.m. As a result, we did not arrive at Trinity Love Church until 10:15 a.m., delaying the service. The family should have been picked up at 9:00 a.m. so we could arrive by 9:30 a.m., giving the pastor and funeral director, Sheri, time to pray with us, organize everyone, and begin the procession promptly at 10:00 a.m. Instead, the funeral home's delay caused the mother of the deceased and the rest of the family to be late to the funeral. I cannot recommend Eternal Rest Funeral Home to anyone seeking professional service, especially because the owner and staff did not acknowledge their mistake. The transportation provided for me and my grandchildren was also unacceptable. Our family was deeply disappointed with the service we received. Although other problems occurred, my son's homegoing service was God filled at the church. The services rendered to the family that day from the funeral home cannot be repeated or made right. I shared these concerns with the owner, Pastor Gerald Weatherall, Sr., but I did not feel that he took them seriously. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this funeral home.
